Hi,

I wish to keep the comments to brief and to the point. Before purchasing a flat from Jain, be sure that you visit Jain Westminster in Saligramam.

1. The flat got a completion certificate without the work being completed. the work is continuing 2 years after the completion certificate.

2. The park was promised as part of the project. While this is a municipal park and the facts started tumbling as get involved. The gym and commercial area are being retained though they are part of the plan when they sell you the flat

3. You need to visit alone without the sales team to understand the problems. For past 2 years repairs have been ongoing. You need to see the photograph of the plan and the actual work carried out to understand the pathetic and shoddy work that they do.

4. Already seepage is happening in many locations and some of the flat owners have sold their flats unable to bear the kind of torture that Jain housing gives

5. within 1 year pipes are rusting, tiles are breaking. So basically they do not have any idea what to do to make a good flat. The building has cracks. The fire extinguishing system does not work

6. The engineer does not know what is to be done as the planner has left, the repair / maintenance does not know as he is new and will be leaving in another few months(as salary is not paid)

7. The swimming pool does not have approval

So basically, they bribe for false plans, fool the customers till they get money and threaten the customers saying they have a big team of lawyers to keep fighting cases.

If you still want to buy, take a flat on rent, understand and then hope you god blesses you with a better experience.

Dear All,

Please do not ever purchase an apartment or anything from Jains housings. You might think Jains is a renowned builder and blindly purchase, thats what I initially thought before booking my apartment. I paid 1 lac booking amount, they pushed me go thru their preferred bank only. I still dont understand the logic behind it. I preferred a different bank which they didnt accept. Now they wasted nearly 30 days time and asking for the entire money right now. Very very poor customer service. Pls never ever think of jains at any cost. They would say they ll get back in 30 mins but they never call back. Until you book they ll keep calling you but once you book they will never even respect you.

They make you feel very bad as if you are buying the apartment free of cost. They are using all low quality products inside the house, be it the door/ bathroom fittings/ hollow bricks. They clearly mention in the agreement that they are not responsible for leakage or seepage. 100% seepage & leakage will be there which they also agreed.

PLEASE DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM. INSTEAD BUY FROM HOUSING BOARD. THEY ARE MUCH MUCH BETTER. IM WRITING THIS SO MUCH PAIN N AGONY WHICH I DONT WANT EVEN MY ENEMY TO GO THROUGH

Jain Housing Construction Company in Chennai is one of the India's best construction with modern infrastructure across flats and houses establishment in India.

Jain housing are nice builders and their services are nice. Before buying almost all builders acts and reacts with good manner. After getting the flats or houses if you face any issues, then also they will resolve nicely along with the high charges.

It is a good decision to choose Jain Housing Construction Company. Better deal with professional/tiers with one builders. They may be bit expansive but worth the money and for sure you will not be short charged. Infact in the given market, rental makes more sense than buying. Another recession is one of the card. Already prices are correcting in the real estate. Lot of developers are giving discounts. But they are different from everyone in Indian Construction fields.

I booked a flat in Jain Housing Pebble Brook in Thoraipakkam.

Good gated community with over 600 families. Keeps you engaged with events. Good place to live in this locality.

This company provides excellent quality homes. They show extreme hospitality to customers.

They build homes of very good-looking design and all the projects connects important IT offices, shopping malls, schools, hospitals, cinemas etc. Jain Housing provided the highest quality products and customer service.

I have been living in Jain swadesh apartment since January, 2015. It is a 25 storied apartment. Construction quality is good. Spacious flats. We have spectacular view from higher floors. Especially, the Sun rise and moon rise are awesome. We have all facilities like Swimming pool, Gym and Beautiful Club house. Shopwell super market is adjacent to our building. Metro is 5 kms away from the apartment. It is a nice place to live in.

I have decided not to buy flats with jains builders, nor I would recommend anyone to buy flats for jains builders.

They use all low cost materials, hallow bricks and cheat the customers, the government should pay strict penalties on them. Totally waste of money, rather zero value money.

The Jains houses in nolambur are rusted, we get sewage treated water than has tds 2000+, no machine in world could every purify.

Please stay away from this builder.

Big park and kids play area. Very breezy and nice for evening walks. Rear side is facing the beautiful Okkiam lake.

Looks like earlier they had issues with builder delaying hand over. After occupation, association is maintaining the property very well.

They celebrate all state functions at Pebble brook. it is very good for kids and Unity in diversity. We enjoyed Holi, Onam, Pongal, Christmas etc after shifting to this community.

I own a flat by Jain Housing and I would say they are probably among the worst builders. They delayed our project for 2 years and their compensation was not adequate. The construction quality was poor, in the brand new apartments we find leakages, seepage, dampness of walls. The pavements are of worst quality. Of course, these are all the general complaints with many builders. However, Jain Housing are much worse.

1) Do you know this builder is still owning the Club house which comes under common area, even though we all owners have paid for full common area. Feels wired right?

2) Have you heard about divide and rule policy, which British in India? The same this builder has done to us owners. When we owners prepared to take legal action against Jain housing, Jain Housing influenced some owners privately and made them as rebels in our Owners association. This brought our owner's association into deep chaos and we are all fighting among owners and the builder Jain Housing is enjoying the fights and escaping without any punishment for all his atrocities.

3) Do you know the entire project was completed without provisioning a drop of water? The sales executive said while booking that they will provide RO and metro water and what actually happening is we are buying lorry water today.

Overall the builders are business minded people with no customer focus and care. No one should buy from them.

The arrangement, cost, online status of arrangement points of interest, client administration are super.

The co-appointment with our business official Mr.Sunil is astounding.

With profound torment and distress, we are composing this audit against Jain Housing and Constructions Ltd. Approximately 45 unfortunate souls booked pads in Jains Swadesh Bangalore around the season of 2011-2012. According to the deal understanding, undertaking was to be given over totally by March 2013 with beauty time of 3 months coming up short which a punishment of 6 Rs for each sq ft was specified.

Indeed, even today(Feb 2015), the venture is not completely finished and there's a progressing Land case which was not educated to purchasers amid offer of pads. Not able to endure the high EMI expenses and house rentals few of us moved in by Jan 2015 and the Company is in no mind-set to complete the pending works and get every one of the endorsements.

Nature of development is pitiful no doubt. Jain Housing staff themselves are inciting us to go the legitimate route as they know about complete provisos in our incredible Legal framework. Disposition of every last Jain Housing staff beginning from MD till administrator is horrifying and they treat clients like hobos.

Unfinished and insecure lifts for a working of 25 stories which is bringing about restless evenings to clients, unfinished level works, drainage/spillage in every one of the pads, broken entryways and windows, third grade quality tiles to say a couple.

So dear planned level purchasers, never at any point consider owning a Jain Housing and Constructions Ltd. condo in any area. Be it Chennai, Kochi, Bangalore, Hyderabad. Spare yourselves some cash and great well being!

I booked a flat with Jains way back in march 2013. I chose this project at pallavaram because it had just 16 units and a single block. I was promised handover within 18 months of commencement. The project work had already commenced by January 2013.

If it was so, the time for handover should have been June 2014. As per the agreement if work extended beyond 18 months, we would be compensated. But these people are very clever. There was no mention about the date of commencement of the project in the agreement signed.

We had completed 95%of the payment by January 2014 and we are yet to receive the flat still.

They said delay was with CMDA giving the completion certificate late. We believed and accepted. But even after getting the certificate they are delaying.

To comment on their work

-poor workmanship

-each and every work was by contractors and not by the builder directly

-lot of quality issues

-the site engineer will never know anything about the building specifications

-we could never spot the site engineer at the site when work was in full swing

-They used all accessories like switches, tiles which was leftover from their bigger projects nearby

About their customer service

-they don't treat you as a customer

-they would beg at your feet till you book the flat

-Then they will never respond to your calls or mails

-They will never let you talk to any senior official of the company. Totally irresponsible behavior

I am writing this review with deep pain and agony.I was just wondering how people gave positive comments about Jains in this website. Maybe it could be posted by the builder himself.

I would never recommend this irresponsible and worst builder to anyone. Please readers, you have several better builders in Chennai to invest your hard earned money.

Jain housing Pebbel Brook Chennai Karapakkam is next to graveyard right next to the Block 13 entry gates. These guys have cheated me and never told that there is a graveyard. The graveyard is so close that the you can smell the body fumings on the very entry of  main gate.

Every time you enter or come out you can see/smell fumings.Its disgusting. The open air fuming is done. I have already complained but no answer or any action form management. They simply deny this.

Some 45 unlucky souls booked flats in Jains Swadesh Bangalore around the time of 2011-2012. As per the sale agreement, project was to be handed over completely by March 2013 with grace period of 3 months failing which a penalty of 6 Rs per sq ft was mentioned.

Quality of construction is pathetic to say the least. Jain Housing staff themselves are provoking us to go the legal way as they are aware of complete loopholes in our great Legal system.

Attitude of each and every Jain Housing staff starting from MD till supervisor is appalling and they treat customers like beggars.

Unfinished and shaky lifts for a building of 25 floors which is causing sleepless nights to customers, unfinished flat works, seepage / leakage in all the flats, broken doors and windows, 3rd grade quality tiles to mention a few.

So dear prospective flat buyers, never ever think of owning a Jain Housing and Constructions Ltd. apartment in any location. Be it Chennai, Kochi, Bangalore, Hyderabad.

Highly unskilled, worst quality, always behind money, no commitment, what else. Moreover they hide the litigation to customers& banks and sold the flats. The other party who filed litigation is a local goon and causing trouble to residents and workers every now and then.

Worst plumbing work, worst tiling work, worst civil work(walls are not straight, air cracks now itself), worst lift work. thank god Structure is good. This one that didn't compromise. But finishing worst of the worst. Housing board quality is better than this.:(

The quality of work is compromised to a great extent in Jain Swadesh. The original structure was built by Silpa which is very good. They latermoved into a litigation with them and screwed up the whole deal and delayed the entire project. There are members in this project that you must be aware(beware) off.

Jains Sankalp Bangalore is supposed to be high end apartment. Even after 1.5 year completion, no legal clearance yet, no water, no proper lift, no sewage. very unprofessional working and poor customer service. OC with BBMP is stuck for more than one year, looks like Jains have some legal problem. They don't get any clearance from govt & local BBMP.

Jains is not completing work in the building also like club house, painting, lift areas etc. very poor construction quality as well.

I have purchased a ready to occupy flat Jains Naksatra in 2011 at whooping cost of Rs47 lakhs. With in two years I find seepage in the walls and the cupboards the quality is very poor and the comples looks like a slum clearance board construction.

Those who want to buy flats visit Jains Naksatra at Maduravayal at get to know about the horrible state of construction.
