Vadilal Charging DOUBLE Price than MRP

I am an old and regular customer of Vadilal ice creams. No doubt Vadilal makes one of the tastiest ice creams but recently the experience has not been so good because of the Vadilal ice cream vendors charging arbitrarily.

The mobile ice cream vendors are charging DOUBLE THE RATE of the Orange Bar ice cream, than it is printed on the ice cream packaging.

The orange bar packing wrapper clearly mentions that the orange bar would cost:

• Rs. 6 in bihar, jharkhand, west bengal, orissa, chattisgarh,

  
  




• Rs. 20 in Nepal,

  
  




• Rs. 5 in Rest of India.

  
  

As I live in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, I should be charged Rs. 5 only. However they are charging Rs. 10 for each orange bar stick!. I specifically asked the vendor to charge as per the printed MRP but he did not listen.

I have seen many people arguing with the Vadilal ice cream vendor on the same issue and then shifting to some other leading brands such as Kwality walls etc. who are charging Rs. 5 for an orange bar stick.

I immediately contacted Vadilal company through the email id mentioned on their website. However even after 7 days, there has been no effort on their part to put an end to such malpractice.

By not responding to my complaint it appears that Vadilal is not serious about complaints lodged by the customers. I wonder whether Vadilal is paying VAT on this additionally earned income.
