They are really big cheaters. I purchased a plot in 2018 and still, they were not giving me possessions and ignoring me all the time with fake commitments. So please don't be in the trap by them and go with legal as soon as possible then you will get possession or your money with interest and compensation amount. You can also demand harassment compensation. And Legal charges as well. I will advise go with Legal only and not waste your time with verbal or email communication.
