I paid an advance before allotment with the promise from the builder that the monies will be refunded within 7 days if I don't get a unit of my choice.

The builder allocated all good units to its known or withheld them for selling later at a higher price.

It took me about 15 reminder emails and about 40-45 days to get refund for my own monies. I tried reaching out to them through various channels and only got templatized responses. This clearly shows the intent of the builder is to eat interest on your hard earned monies.
