I booked a plot with Pride paying an advance of 50000 Rs. Immediately the next day, I decided to cancel my booking because we did not feel right about the plot. We understood from various sources that the property has not appreciation on par with the market and there will be no returns even after 5 years. But, the management is not refunding the advance money we have paid to them on cancellation. They are saying that they can only refund 25000. No builder or the property developer in the whole world deducts 50% on the booking amount on cancellation. That too just after a day of booking. This is ridiculous, absolutely unethical and cheating. Avoid purchasing any property with Pride group.
