They will loot you for sure and they always take advice from their lawyers to find various ways to dupe or loot you.

We bought a flat from them, we paid the full amount through home loan, after few years, since we needed money in an emergency, we decided to sell the flat before taking possession. The builder acted as a Mediator and said he will be able to sell it to another customer/buyer and give us the flat's cost price (Rs x) + home Loan interest we paid to the bank (Rs y). He said he will keep or take his profit (Rs z) from the new buyer/customer to whom he sells the flat. We agreed and started the processing, the builder gave us the base price or the cost price of the flat (i.e. Rs x) and rest amount (i.e. Rs y) in form OF POST DATED CHEQUE. After we cancelled our registration for the flat, the builder started ignoring our calls and the cheque of amount (Rs y) bounced in bank. To save himself, the builder had given us the cheque (of Rs y) of a 3rd person who is a relative or colleague of the builder. Now we are in the process of filling a CRIMINAL AND FORGERY CASE AGAINST THE BUILDER IN HIGH COURT, CONSUMER COURT AND WILL ALSO LODGE AN FIR against him and the person whose cheque the builder gave us.
