Hi,


My mobile number is+91 97430 51251, I use Black berry model 9780 activated Black berry unlimited package from you for Rs.399 few days it was working I could browse and do what ever I wanted, but from past 3 days I have been incurring browsing charges etc.


When I contacted Blackberry help desk @ 18002701234 they said the normal package is still there but above that some IDEA fresh(GPRS) package is activated which is out of my knowledge and I have been incurring lot of browsing charges etc.


I raised a complaint on Friday 07-09-2012 they gave a complaint number ST 1 -27266377759 and promised expected completion of request 08-09-2012 time 10AM till now i.e., 09-09-2012 its not been rectified.


I tried calling your customtakeouter care once they disconnected my call second time they said in two min they will rectify the issue, when the problem was still there I called them back again they are telling network down call after half an hour again after half an  hour I tried to reach them it says call after 24hrs, I am really fed up of this issue, kindly verify or else I will opt for other network providers.

20/03/2012 - Received 3G SIM from IDEA Person in SYNTEL CAPITERIA, Pune And opted for RS 850, 7.5GB Plan.


21/03/2012 -Sim Got activated and got internet (Good Speed 300KBps+)


22/03/2012 -Received SMS from IDEA Saying Credit limit is 750 and charge is (850+12.5% tax= RS 950+) my doubt is when I opted for 850 Plan How they place Credit limit as 750.... Called customer care and for increasing credit limit. No use.....


23/03/2012- No internet/Connection Bared.


24/03/2012- After noon 2: Same thing reported to IDEA person in CAPITERIA.      On his suggestion in same evening paid RS 250(950-250=700 below my credit limit) to IDEA via idea website(I have my bill with me).


25/03/2012 - No Internet, Waiting for Reactivation. Evening called to IDEA customer care...They told No money credited to account.


26/03/2012 - No Internet and had a word with IDEA CAPITERIA guy... No use.


27/03/2012 - No Internet, Requested guy in IDEA guy in CAPITERIA to disconnection. He called idea care... But had discussion with those guys for 15 min over phone. No use.


28/03/2012 - No internet from IDEA.... Finally RECHARGED my old MTS data card...within sec I got my internet on MTS Mblaze.


My Questions:


Why they placed my credit limit as RS 750 when opted for Rs 850(7.5 GB) Plan


Why they were able to recognize my RS 250 payment over IDEA website.


Lesson  - Never Trust IDEA---- it is BIG sh*t

I am really tired of this poor customer service of the idea cellular service. they will activate the their plans and ringtone with out my requested they are taking the money like they have gave me any lottery and thier customer service is this much poor that they will not gave any proper answer if we ask for the dnd activation they will not take it.


Its the worst cellular service I have seen in my entire life this is a request to my friend that don't go with the idea.

We are Idea Postpaid customtakeouters from 2009 March. The system support & network were better, for which we opted for Idea to other networks. Recently we have changed our mobile number, using the same network. Its been worst kind of experience ever since.


The network is pathetic, system support is worst kind. The customtakeouter care is like most careless & hopeless. Nobody from customtakeouter support responds. They keep on shifting lines & reading scripts. The outlet @ marathalli is like a garbage outlet. They don't maintain proper documents & records of customtakeouters. No person knows what other person is working or handling. We had to go there at least 4-5 times just for correction of address, for which we have submitted documents. They say "we do not know to whom you have given docs." It took 1 week for them to correct the address which was given printed on a doc., which was existing from almost 3 years.


When we dial a number, it gets disconnected immediately, first time. When we dial second time, it connects with a lot of disturbance, with loads of buzzing. The communication would be only one way, not letting who is on the other end and what they are speaking. And when we dial some numbers we hear a recorded message saying "that particular does not exist". Whereas we receive call from the same number and also can dial the same number from other networks. We also tried changing the handset hoping the problem exist with handset, not the network. But no use. We have called customtakeouter support on Saturday, 16th July 2011 and spoke to a person who stated himself as Santosh, Team lead. I gave him all the details of problems we are facing. He assured us that the problem would be resolved by Sunday Evening(in 24 hours).


These are some examples of the disgusting services what Idea is offering, stating them as the "BEST NETWORK PROVIDERS". BETTER THEY STOP FOOLING PEOPLE BY SUCH ADVERTISEMENTS.


We sort of started hating Idea and soon going to switch to another network. We would never like to recommend this network to anyone.

Please  note I have got the SMS offer from IDEA. With Message If recharge  with 150/-  you will get full talk time. But they are not mentioned validates for one month. Now after recharging I come to know that the  validity  will expiry within one month.


Now my question why Idea started fooling people. The IDEA should give the valid and  complete information to the customers.And also getting nonsense SMS per day about 15 to 20 , And unwanted calls.


KINDLY HELP ME TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. AND I WANT TO BRING THE NOTICE TO THE IDEA CUSTOMER NOT TO GET FOOL.

I am an Idea(earlier known as SPICE) customer since 1997.


1) I was offered an add on card which I opted for and they assured me 3000 sms free. I started using it and kept getting charged. Called the customer care and they said that they cant do anything about it. wrote emails to them, and didnt get any reply. Then went to their office in Richmond road and they said they will get back to me. All in all it took 10 days of waste of time and energy just to get the work done. This inspite of me having it in writing in the application form.


2) Last year a customer care person called me and told me that they have an offer for cheap international calls to certain countrys for Rs. 49 per month. I opted for it and had been enjoying the same service for all this time. All of a sudden my last years bill does not have this charges. I called the customer care and they were absolutely clueless and have no idea what I was talking about. I sent an email, and its been 10 days since I got any reply. Now again I have to go to their office and wait for another 10 days.


Why should I always go through all this if I need something to be

I am a 10 year old IDEA customer using 9847211858. Here is a small summary of payments I make to Idea.


14-04-2011 = 2000 = Payment


11-04-2011 = 1000 = Payment


23-02-2011 = 1100 = Payment


21-01-2011 = 1360 = Payment


12-11-2010 = 1160 = Payment


12-11-2010 = 1159.41 = Payment


21-10-2010 = 3000 = Payment


05-10-2010 = 17475 = Payment


16-09-2010 = 10000 = Payment


I was told that I am valued customer and get email saying a hell lot of benefits including personal calendar. Here is the best service idea offered me as a valued customer when I was in trouble.




  1. I had an hospital emergency and in between I lost my mobile 40 hours back.




  2. Went to Idea Trivandrum(Technopark) branch and reported the same.




  3. They offered me a new sim-card and said the old one will be blocked for outgoing and this new sim will be activated in 3 hours.






I was very happy about the service.


Result




  1. Outgoing was not bared even after 5 hours




  2. Called customer care 3 Times and explained whole story




  3. No response.




  4. Old phone is still active with outgoing




  5. Called customer care in 9847012345 again after 12 hours and gave an IDEA to executive to escalate the issue to superior person. But he don’t know how to do that L.






Almost 40 hours and the status is


NEW SIM IS BLOCKED COMPLETELY


OLD SIM WORKS PERFECTLY

Sorry to say that. I am forced to publish my experience to all.


But executive gave me a very good “IDEA” that I should go and report the same to idea office once again next day morning.


So to summaries this is what we Idea customers have to do if we lost our phone.


Report your phone has been lost at least two times in idea office 2 days prior to the incident….

IDEA IS USELESS

I had paid my IDEA Bill on 7th of April 2011 and on 14th of April 2011 they had disconnected my mobile, I had visited IDEA Gallery on 15th for the same, they told that the connection will be restored till evening. Till 16th the connection was not restoed. I had a talk with IDEA Customer Care and they told that by mistake the dealer in PUNE D H COMMUNICATIONS, BHOSARI, PUNE - 4411039 has not credited the amount.


It means they are misusing our money for their personal issues and we are suffering even after paying money.


They should be kicked off from the market of particular segmant as they are unable to serve their valuable customer.

Idea is the worst among all sevice provider

Idea provides zero network coverage, zero customer care and biggest liers. They sold me connection by telling me a lie and when I complained for that their response is zero. never use idea it ios worst  and pathetic.


Its online bill payment service is just of no use. I pay the bill online and after 15 days they are telling me to pay the bill again wherever the amount is already deducted from my account and in between this period they disturb me a lot by stopping my outgoing call services again and again.


I will suggest to each and every person please.
