i created a savings ac on 25 th of september and as per criteria i deposited 10000 in the AC and in the name of verification they put the AC on debit freeze untill now , is this is a real bank or just a hedqche for public

My name is Mohamed Ibrahim, I am 15 years customer in your purasaiwakkam branch and I have a gold jewellery stored securely with your bank. Currently, I am working overseas and unable to return to India to collect the jewells. For this reason, I authorized my mother to collect it on my behalf.
However, it has been over one months since my mother first attempted to retrieve the jewells. During this period, the bank staff has been consistently rude to her and has failed to provide clear answers or guidance regarding the gold jewells.
Today my mother senior citizen 70 years old waiting in your bank in 6 hours for loan closer
This behavior is unacceptable, and if it continues, I will be forced to escalate the matter to the authorities.
(This type of staffs is shame on your bank and damage ur bank name)

When I opened an account they said it's 0 balance and now I have to maintain 5000 balance or they deduct my money. I tried closing it online but was unable to, called customer care and they told me that after I enter my other banks details on the next page where you have to put comments we should not use any special characters. Did the same and closed the account, Now God knows how much more they will deduct for closing. Best part is got rid of this pain called digibank

I had opened standalone tax saver FD 5 years back in DBS Bank (LVB) T Nagar branch. On maturity date I submitted FD to withdraw the amount through NEFT on July 2023 and Oct 2023 but they credited only after 3 to 4 days by givings excuses like backend delay, system issue etc only after several followup. Once again I submitted one more FD closure on 9th January 2024 through NEFT, till now the amount is not credited. When I call them on 10th they ask me to submit cancelled cheque, which was not asked by them when I submitted the FDR and promised that the amount will be credited on time.
The bank is deliberately delaying to credit the maturity amount
I'm actually thinking of closing this account. This time around 7 days (and counting) for the money to reflect in my account through a foreign remittance.
I recently opened a DBS account and have to admit that I dolove their style of banking and the tech that follows. I highly recommend this bank to any NRI.
I have my account with dbs and a personal loan ..my emi date was 6th usually the emi will deduct anytime like 4 am , 2am, 6am sometimes by 7th also money got deducted ..but this month i didn't maintained my account with the emi amount by 9:30 fund was credited to the account for the emi deduction..but emi was not deducted and it's is showing late payment charges ..for an emi amount of 1836 it's showing
I had been waiting 4days for my account verification. No response from this bank and the agent is no responses even he is not picking my call.
My account was opened as digital account with zero balance zero charge account in Sept 2016. Then in sept 2020 they suddenly charged my account with debit card charge for which I was not informed in advance. and now in may 2021 they started sending message to keep minimum average balance of Rs.5000 failing which I will be charged 20% for shortfall in balance. This is policy change again which was not informed. I withdrew my entire balance and asked them to close my account. but bank is not closing it. I dont understand what the problem is? I am not interested in adding any money as they are bound to cut huge amount stating that minimum average balance was not maintained. Bank provides no physical service nor it has Atm, s. Yet they have started charging without informing customer and without taking consent of customer. Also their is no feature in account on how to confirm actual minimum balance is?
I've been using DigiBank by DBS for more than 5 years now and I am going to share my real experience with you. This Bank provides great cashback offers and digital payment with the security of this bank is very strong there is two-factor authentication for security hence chances of security concern are very less.
They have provided cashback for changing debit card PIN also visa offers are there BookMyShow offers are there.
On 16th December 2020, my transaction was failed I contacted customer care support they were very kind and provided me an error report and reversed back the transaction within 2 hrs.
You'll hardly find any atm. You can't find any branch easily to deposit money or to do any other banking activity. The monthly average balance required is ₹ 5000 which is a lot considering services provided by them in mind and in the case of non maintenance you'll be charged ₹5000 per month. There mindset is not to serve people, they're just a blood sucker. You won't able to find your MAB in their stupid app. I don't know how they tell it a digital bank. Cheater!!!??
After going through all negetive comments, I wanted to clear your doubts as I have been using this DBS for years. Trust me when i faced initial app error some where in 2019 starting... My only concern on those days was login issue. I have been saving money for quite some time and I have not faced any challenge the more I started loving it. For an best example I closed my other HDFC account and SBI account..
I always had one or other issues with other Bank. Here app works perfectly fine even FD as well. Some 10k transactions I did but with no error. Especially sitting in home.. So blindly go with this.
Worst app ever, each n every time when I want to login always asks me for OTP, after typing OTP it shows something went wrong pls do some development regards this, I think giving even one star is waste??????
Very bad customer policy. Don't even try to open an account if you are not the permanent residents of the place where the bank resides. Do not have proper system policy. They don't have passion to hold back the customers. Themselves ask the customers to close the account instead of apologising for their own mistake. They will ask you to change your permanent address as per the bank requirement. Very very bad experience.
I am using this app over two months. The Main advantage of this app is you can create a virtual account and they also gives you a virtual debit card. If you add some money on this account they gives you a 7% interest rate. In this app there is no need to go anywhere you can control you account in your mobile phone. But the debit card is this bank is not working fine like if you connect your debit card in Netflix, Amazon prime there was an error. Other than this there was all things are paperless and you can block your debit card any time and apply for a new debit card. They need to improve there user interface sometimes this is complicated.
Great concept. Bang on offerings for the light digital bank users. great user experience(Not having to choose neft/rtgs/imps). Good savings rate and good benefits(atm withdrawals etc)

Hi, I opened my digibank account just a few weeks before. This was referred by one of my colleagues.
The first think to say about is the zero balance savings account which I was searching for as it is difficult for me to maintain the same for whole month : -)
I felt very comfortable with their process of opening the account. With just registration and verification through mobile app all is done in a short time. Their executive reached my place and took the details for processing the new SB account. All are done paperless. It saved my time a lot.
Even Debit card is easily activated and they have given international card.
They have announced cashback on doing transaction of INR 2000.yet to check that.
Will post it once I get the same.

Horrendous technical architecture. A little more reattach would have gone a long way. There is a bug which is not letting people access their account after signup. Still no solution for it. For a digital bank if the app doesn't work right, what's the point?
I have used other online banks like Simple(US) and Chime(US). They did not make me miss having a physical branch.
PS: MOUTHSHUT WONT LET ME CHANGE RATING.
I opened digibank DBS account as I liked the concept of virtual account and paper less account. The app is very pathetic and slow. It doesn't open sometimes and if you forget your password, you can't imagine how many difficulties you have to face. If you try to use debit card, it always shows transaction failure. Overall I doesn't recommend this app.
