What a scam. you're charged as soon as a tutor'accepts' your request but that's just the beginning of the negotiating process. You still have to find a convenient time and date for lessons to begin and, if you can't, you have to start again with another tutor. Meanwhile you'll waste your time contacting highly rated tutors, who send instant automatic rejections so are likely nothing more than marketing tools. Despite reaching out to multiple tutors I'm$69 poorer and I'm still yet to receive a thing. Plus it's an ongoing subscription! No response from the helpdesk, not even an automated reply indicating response timeframes. Just radio silence. I suspect this is nothing more than a good looking and highly overpriced interface. Avoid at all costs.

Please stay away. They will charge you and no teachers show up. They charged me 49CAD for NOTHING. nobody shows up
I used the service only once and paid the 50$, which is okay.
After one month I was surprised to see that they charged me again. To be fair, I remember that I tried to cancel my subscription right after I found the tutor I was looking for, but they don't give you the option to do it before the end of the month. So either you COMPLETELY cancel your account and don't have access to what you paid for, or you have to remember to come five days before the renewal and then charge your credit card/PayPal account. I thought it was okay since I believed that as a serious website, they will send a reminder before the deadline to do it. But I was so wrong!
Then, when I contacted them, they told me that I signed for it and that they sent me an email several days ago; which I NEVER received. Maybe their system makes them look like spam. But I receive hundreds of them every day, so do not have time to check them.
Seriously, their clients are educated people and students who are still struggling in life to reach their goals. They are not rich people who can pay 600$ per year to meet a few tutors that we can find on Marketplace or other free websites.
Stay away from it.

Absolute scam!! They charge you £39 just to access a data base of people and they don’t make it clear what you’re paying for. Denied me a refund too. Stay away!!
Total scam - charge you a monthly subscription to access a database of tutors who they also charge to be listed! Keep taking money from your account until you actively cancel. Shysters
Don’t use your information on this website. they charge people for nothing and Laura is a person that she’s working for this site to do hidden charges without any reason.
Please, do not use this website, they have a terrible service with hidden charges. I surprised by deducted a$ 59 from my account on monthly basis without permission for what is called(student pass). I found that is the way to contact your tutors. the issue they did not tell me about this amount. When I tried to contact them they refused to return my money, and I am going to complain against them.
This is an automated website with no customer service at all, I was misled by an advert for lessons that advertised as face to face but after waiting several days for the tutor to respond she abruptly said'its online only; Not what I asked for.
When I tried to cancel the subscription the money was still taken from my credit card and despite numerous emails there was no response from anyone at hello@superprof.com
Update - 9th November.
Despite the reply below no one ever responds to the hello@superprof email. I contacted my credit card company to reclaim the money that was taken as had no other recourse. In addition to this SuperProf failed to respond to repeated requests to remove all my personal information and since it's a scam site i've reported them to the ICO for failure to comply with GDPR. This company are not legitimate so i'd recommend reporting them.
Charged 50$ for a monthly subscription. The way they have it set up makes it seem like your getting one free lesson and hard to find the fine print of the agreement stating your being charged monthly. Careful everyone, I'm sure there's a better service out there with teachers who are fluent in english
Just look at their response to my email. I had to pay $39.00 upfront in order to obtain one of their tutors but one by one they kept saying that they were busy and could not help me. They finally found an availability for me but when I messaged the tutor, she failed to respond. After informing them of this experience, they stated to me that they would not refund my money, per the agreement.
I am currently disputing the charge on my credit card. Beware!
Superprof is a scam site. In my experience they billed me, the “professor” was a no-show and they billed my credit card 4 more times after that while I am trying to dispute the charge. STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY!!!!!!
I have to say this is the worst platform I have ever used.
1) I was NEVER informed that I needed to pay for a "student pass" just to communicate with the tutors.
2) I was charged even BEFORE any tutor contacted me.
3) Then a tutor accepted my lesson request, and suddenly I realised I was charge even before the lesson.
This is the same a s theft: charging a whopper £29 for a service I did not even use.
Utterly disappointed and will tell ALL my friends about this scam platform, needless to say worst reviews.
There are SO MANY other platforms with excellent teachers which does not charge a single penny for the user.
It is the tutors who should be charged because they use your platform to advertise.
Students should only be charged for the lessons they took already.

This business is a scam. Stay away. They will take your money for nothing. It's a scam. Nothing more to say. They will take your money. Do not enter credit card details. Competitors are free and better.
Says the amount will get deducted after the tutor agrees to connect, but instantly gets deducted, do not attempt to pay the fee on this site, you'll be duped.
In my case the experience was horrible and I would discourage anybody from using their services and supporting them. Technically they are not at fault as they are not breaking the law but they are taking advantage of people signing up for a subscription by accident.
Paying £29 monthly for nothing is just ridiculous. I am sure the company is aware that a lot of people get charged by accident because of not realising that you are going to be charged £29 monthly regardless if you search for any new teachers/apply for new lessons or not. And they are taking advantage of it which I think is very dishonest. All you need to do is just read the reviews on trustpilot and you will understand what I mean.
I got charged more by SuperProf than I paid for the actual lessons to the tutor.
There is no way to ask tutor a question without sending a lesson request first(after which you are going to be charged £29 monthly. This has happened to me as well - You don't normally expect to be tied into a subscription for just asking a tutor if he speaks English(for which you have to send a lesson request as there is no way to ask without it).
£29 as an initial charge would be understandable even though it's still high. But the company taking advantage of people not realising that it's a subscription and you end up paying £29 monthly for nothing until you realise what has happened and cancel subscription. And the company is obviously taking advantage of that(as you can see how many people here were not aware of that).
P.S. I explained the situation to the company and asked for the refund of 2 months of subscription as it obviously was an unexpected accident and I've not taken any value out of those 2 months of membership.
To which they replied that it's my fault that I didn't notice it saying that it's a subscription, and so they refused to issue refund.
I have become a client of superprof Turkey. Bad bad experience with two teachers. I wanted drop a brief review and they reject to publish my reviews without any reason and this is only by a robot email message. Trustpilot has the same policy. They do anything to Publish only positive.
Beside, the only way to learn how much you are charged by superprof is to check your bank statement. I am sure it is mentioned in somewhere, but I could not learn this reading hours and neither when they ask your card info and approve. Very strange and only robotic communication approach towards customers, No customer service here. Run and hide
Hi I enrolled in superprof service, initially get distracted due to prof recommended for CS Executive Preparation but now after follow up with superprof, faculty replaced and now getting good service.

App is good for online studies the professor who teach online are so good in explaining. However sometime it's difficult to understand what they are teaching or having any doubt but superprofs resolve problem as soon as they can which is best part.
First of all I live in place where the facility for coachings is not available so superprofs provide me decent classes from professionals. It helped me a lot. The major advantage is you can watch unlimited times.
Dont waste your time and money buying these video lectures. very poor content and extremly bad audio visual quality.
