This TV is a DUD.

1. Picture sharpness is so high, even when it is turned down to 0. The picture is unacceptably grainy and there is double image ghosting effect due to such high sharpness. When you run DVDs you can see the blocky structures even of high quality DVDs. You can see interlacing effects espacially during DVD playback. Absolutely HORRIBLE. The flicker is also horrible due to such high sharpness.

   
   




2. It has some cheap 3D comb filter, so that when the signal is somewhat noisy and there is movement in the picture, the whole TV goes into a dot crawl especially faces of people - they look like they are dissolving. If you turn off the ''intelligent picture'', the grainyness makes watching impossible. With ''intelligent picture'', you get the dot crawl on movement and the pictures look as if they are painted.

   
   




3. The pictures is cut from the sides excessively.

   
   

I gave it up in 5 months and got a Philips 29PT8322.

Guys DON'T BUY THIS TV and don't puch your luck with SONY. They are now selling overpriced duds.
