I got my eye tested two months back and for being economical bought from local vendor. It costed me 1200r.For first month it worked fined. But second month irritation started on nose and ear ears something sharp started hurting and silver colour of the frame started vanishing.so I had to change my specs and one of my friend referred me titan eye plus.

To south city mall where they have a titan eye plus .They really had an amazing collection and specs were quite trendy and fashionable.Thought the prices are high but quality of it is amazing.I finally purchased a purple and pink.I found it very comfortable. Many of my friend have even complimented me.

I am very happy with my purchase as specs is light weight Very comfortable and trendy.

I visited the Aundh Titan eye plus store, near to dominos outlet.

There is not much collection in the store but I managed to select one closed frame spectacle. It was 2011 and I was crazy about titan frames because of TV advertisements, so I decided to get one. It took me 4 visits to decide, lets buy this one.

So I selected the frame, the frame costs me 4299.Now was the turn of Glasses, I have a very high power in plus so I had to look for light weighted glasses, I choose Crizal A2.

the staff sounded like he had no technical knowledge, it took him 3 days to fit glasses in frame. I used to call and visit store every day. I had changed many framed so far but have not seen a single shop who take more than 1 hour to fix glasses.

Overall, you had to lucky to get frame of your choice. Its expensive too.!

Not worth!

Very disapointed with Titan eye Aundh branch. I needed a spec for my wife  a couple of days ago. Seeing all the attractive ads we visited a nearby branch of Titan eye. First of all really small collections of frames. They tout about less price. What a scam. All the low priced specs are something u find in village melas. However determined to get a good spec for my wife I emptied my pockets with 5k for it.

Then came the real shocker. After a few days we observed a small fissure appearing side of the spec. When we took the spec to the shop (aundh branch, you should really avoid) the salesman ignored us for good  15 mins. He started attending other customers who came after us. When I protested he came to us. He then gave me a demo, how their glasses are unbreakable, blah blah...he said only if u really misuse it its gonna break...(as if I was dancing on the spec).

I asked him I am a spec user all my adult life. Even my past glasses have fallen and survived the impact

without any problem. This new glasses not only looks cheap but also very fragile with fitting problems

Anyway the salesman kept  the glass for several days saying he would do whatever he can. After 5 days he told us we have to pay for a new glasses.

I said thank u. No more service from your shop..

This is to bring to you notice that I had an very bad experience with the staff from TitanEye+ located at Electronic city Phase I Bangalore. when I went to select lens and frame the salesperson was least interested to help me out with various options. He just told to view and select from the display post shortlisting the frame and lens was promised to deliver in 3 working days but didn’t receive it till 6 working days. On a daily basis, I have to contact them to ask the status. They hardly revert and keep on promising we will get back to you.

Titan is clearly losing its market value.

There was a time when customers swore by their loyalty to specific brands. With so many brands entering the exploding retain markets in India, having a brand name isn't sufficient anymore . However, most brands seem to be resting or rather living off past laurels. One such brand is Titan. Once upon a time people adorned with pride titan products, but today the consumer is spoilt for choice and hence there pride and brand ownership no longer compliment each other.

Titan first entered the indian market with their brand of watches and today are also into eyewear. To ensure their customer base is not impacted due to shortage of stores, stores were opened in all the areas of pune which experienced a growth spurt.

One such store was opened with much fanfare in Vimanagar. I recently visited the store to get some specs for reading. We chose the frame. The customer service guy gave us a form to fill in before testing the eyes for the number. While we were waiting for the eye checkup, we noticed that the frame we chose had a defect. We enquired with the customer service guy if there was another piece. He very curtly told us all that is on display is the only stock in the store and there are no other pieces. The cost of the frame was not like 200 or 300 bucks. It was around 2000 and the lens he told us would cost another 1800 or so. Hence if I am spending close to 4000 bucks then I definitely expect a good product. Why should I pay for a defective product? The sales guy seemed to think otherwise. His attitude, body language and behavior was such, that radiated titan is a brand and you should be honored to be able to purchase it. Brand my foot, we walked out of the store and guy was not in the least bothered.

Now comes the irony of the situation, when walking out I noticed a banner which stated " Did our service make you smile, if not...then contact us on....blah blah blah" I came to the conclusion that the words on the banner were just empty words and don't mean anything. If they meant anything, then the sales guy would have been courteous and eager to make a sale, especially keeping in mildly hardly anyone visits the store.

Wake up Titan.....before Titanic strikes.
