Very easy to understand
Jan 03, 2023 09:03 AM

I was looking for a book that would help me learn Java and I stumbled upon this one. It is the best Java book I have ever read! Not only is it very easy to understand, but it also offers a lot of examples that you can use to help you learn. This is the best Java reference out there and I highly recommend it if you are trying to learn the language.

Best guide for java learnig
Oct 11, 2020 11:27 PM

I am a b.tech student and I have been developing with Java for a long time. I bought this book in order to handle some of the new features. I have only read part one of this book so far, however, I have found it mostly very useful and easy to understand. . The code samples are all in monospaced fonts with no markups or special formatting whatsoever. the most important feature of this book is that it has covered all the topics of java API, Java Bean, java fx, or Javascript, with the exception of JPA. . this is a great book, and in addition to this, this book is actually from the oracle press.

I used this book for understanding most of my concepts regarding programs and algorithms. This book helped me a lot in understanding concepts. The book by Mr. herbert schildt is a good and comprehensive book for basic java programming language the book covers a variety of topics and all topics are explained briefly and accurately even freshers don't feel much problems in understanding the flow of the concept.

The explanation of topics such as java applets are so good that I understood all concepts on my own and the strange feature of this book is that it has given the application of the codes.

overall this book is a great deal for them who are looking for a comprehensive understanding of java. this is value for money product. this book is also not very expensive and anyone can buy it easily.

A standard book but not helpful
Mar 04, 2018 01:03 PM

Hi friends I am a b.tech student and I have great interest in programming languages like c and java. I have good interest in java specially. someone suggested me to read this book. but when I started to reading it my whole excitement and interest gone. actually the content of this book is not helpful for me.

the content of this book is not readable and it's very hard to understand. the logic used to solve the problems in this books are not understandable sometimes. there is no proper flow of the information which leads to misunderstanding sometimes.

I think this book is unable to generate good interest in programming.

Never go for this book please
Feb 25, 2018 03:58 PM

Hello friends as a computer science student I would like to share my personal experience of reading this book. actually was searching for a book of java for complete information in depth.

the name of this book attracted me that's why I bought this book. but when I started to reading it I became very disappointed. because it is very hard to understand. and there were so many errors in the demo programs in this book. this book is unable to justify its name "complete reference".

then I bought another java book which was written by a local writer and there were so many good concept covered in that book. so dear friends don't waste your valuable time in this book because it is outdated and it doesn't covers all the concepts for future aspects.

Don't clarify the doubts for freshers
Aug 10, 2017 08:09 AM

Java was my first Computer related language I learned and the book my friend specified was my first book I'd perused to take in this dialect. It gives you a short presentation of everything. A justifiable reason, motivation to peruse this book is, it doesn't make you an Expert Java Programmer, however, it must make you a certain Java software engineer who knows practically every point identified with this dialect so at whatever point you require some assistance, you can return to this book to peruse in more detail or discover another book to peruse that specific theme in more profundity.

Despite the fact that "Java the Complete Reference" by Herbert Shildt is a great reference for Java I won't recommend it for learning Java for tenderfoots. It's like perusing Oxford word reference to learn English dialect.

If it's not too much trouble begin with books which clarify essentials of OOP unmistakably rather than books clarifying dialect API subtle elements, so I propose OCPJP Certification book by Kathy Sierra on the off chance that you have past programming knowledge generally Head First Java is the best book for add up to apprentice.

Hence not recommended.

Best Book On Java
Aug 04, 2017 01:17 AM

This truly is a complete reference to java.Concepts are explained in detail with proper and simple examples. This book is the preferred Java textbook in almost all the colleges. Print quality is good. Each edition has contents published keeping in mind the most recent technologies.

It is of reasonable price.

I prefer buying the book rather than downloading it's pdf version for free because most books in pdf version available for free doesn't have few pages.
