Hotel Pine Spring, Srinagar

Well, I live in Srinagar so I have visited lot of hotels near by . Hotel Pine spring is one of them I stayed there for almost 2 days and 2 Nights. My experience was not that pleasant. Also I expected much better service and much better rooms. Which obviously I didn't get . So, here I am review this hotel as one of the worst hotel in Srinagar.

I would like to write about HOTEL PINE SPRING, WAZIRBAGH, NEAR TOWN SQUARE MALL, RAJBAGH, SRINAGAR, INDIA. I had made a booking thru AGoda .com .Booking Id is 46780893.We had booked 2 rooms for 2 days (check in- 18th june 2014 and check out - 20th June 2014). We reached the hotel and address mentioned on 18th June around 4 pm .Now this was highly surprising as hotel staff told us that booking was made for their other hotel branch ( named pine spring only) which they told is at 4 kms ( actually it was 12 kms) from this hotel ( pine spring   wazirbagh). We confronted with the senior staff there but they forced us to go to other branch at Nowgam.( out skirt of srinagar), a very lonely and unsafe location.

We had no choice other then going there as its was a season time and no other hotel is available on immediate booking basis. The Hotel at outskirt was shabby and was not as per our expectation and the price we had given .Hotel people cheated with us. The Outskirt Hotel ( location- Nowgam) was not even mentioned in agoda's website or at the website of hotel pine spring. Hotel people are just playing with tourist to fill their poor location hotel.

The hotel people said that it is the mistake of AGODA.Com that they have mentioned Wazirbagh location in booking confirmation slip.  WE HEARD THAT THIS HOTEL CHAIN IS OWNED BY COUSIN OF CM OF KASHMIR  SOME MR SHAIKH ABDULLA  .This review is just to warn everybody who is visiting kashmir, not to book any hotel from this chain.
