Hotel Marina, Daman

Hello friends,

I am gaurav from Baroda Gujarat . I am working form sales and service engineer for one MNC company . last month I am going to Daman and my company book my hotel for Marina . so I am going to late night . so I am going to room and room are very small and not clean . so I am not a happy for this website . so I am some Oder for food so food quality are very poor test is not good. so I am not happy for this website . so all friends do not used for this hotel .

I have been going to Daman since I was a child to spend some part of summer vacation over there. It's been quite developed since then and things have changed.

Hotel Marina is located just a couple of blocks away from my Uncle's place. This Hotel is very much old school with the most of the interior made of wood which is quite old but extremely well maintained. The interior is gonna catch your attention instantly. The Hotel is spic and span. Same goes with the rooms.

The Hotel Marina special which is a Mughlai dishes stands out for me. Service could be slow but the food is very tasty

The Hotel is located in Nani Daman and I'll give a thumbs up!

It was an excellent experience to stay at Marina Hotel at Daman in all respects. The ambiance of the hotel is something remarkable for us and in the end of the day when we came back from our tours, it gave us the feeling of home away from home.

We must especially mention about its cleanliness and personal care of the hotel owners - Mr and Mrs Wadia plus all the other members of the hotel. This is really very rare. One memorable part of our trip at Daman is definitely the nice experience of Hotel Marina.

Visited a beautiful and well maintained Portugese Villa converted into a Hotel: very reasonable tariffs with all modern facilities.

Stayed in a Deluxe family room from the 30th April to the 03rd May 2009: tariff was 1055/- for a couple per night. Very well maintaied rooms with an attached toilet. Daily change of linen and cleaning, flat screen tv with remote & cable (tatasky), 1.5 ton window unit ac, a double bed with an option for an additional bed / person in the same room at an extra charge.

Lovingly maintained by a Parsi couple with sparkling bronze fittings and shining teak interiors. Extremely well run by an able team of support members who are warm and ever willing to help / assist.

All rooms have air-conditioning, window acs. It has a real, old wordly charm. Centrally located but cut off from all the hustle and bustle. Their in-house kitchen is under renovation and that is a minor hitch which is compensated by the excellent food available from nearby Hotels: Gurukripa & Soverign.

Great place to just relax and do nothing!
