Dr Satish Rudrappa

He was extremely rude and humiliated a patient who was suffering from severe backpain. He did not listen to my problem or explained any technicalities. I m not qualified to question on his competency as a doctor. But the way he behaved with a patient was ride and inhuman. This is absolutely not how doctors are or should be.

-Talks very nice before surgery

-Does not bother about issues once surgery is done and dismisses any issues patient faces as nothing.

-Talks more(90%) about everything else than actual medical stuff and problem patient is facing.

-Claims more experience and other's surgeries as his.

-Tries to indimidate patient and talks sarcastic if patient reports issues after surgery.

-Uses junior doctors to check patients most of the time and he checks 1-2 minutes and during that short time also talks non-medical things irrelevant to patients actual issue.

This is regardingMrs. Leela Devi, who underwent brain surgery - Craniopharyngioma, under Dr Satish. Now we did a repeat scan in which tumor is completely removed and no regrowth also. I am very much thankful to Dr Satish and team who gave my mother's life back. Dr. Satish is my family god.

I started getting this pain in my right side of the face. Like any layman I assumed it to be a dental issue and consulted one. Thankfully he was a surgeon and knowing the details of how my pain was getting triggered he immediately refered me to a nuerologist. It was later diagnosed with TRIGEMINAL NUERALGIA, one of the rarest disease anyone could have. As guided by the nuerologist I started taking Carbamazabin Tregratol 400 mg initially, which by the end of the first year reached 1200 mg, which was the highest any human body can take. Even at such high dose my pain didn't get subside. I could not eat, drink, talk or do anything for that matter. The attacks frequency increased so did the duration. It was during stage I met DR. Satish Rudrappa. What an amazing doctor he is. Seeing me in such pain he advised me to go for MVD, Micro vascular decompression. I must say the best decision I ever made in my life. He did my surgery within two days n I got discharged within three days of the surgery. I will recommend him to everyone who are suffering from this pain. 3 months back I could not walk because of a spine problem and did corana test and got admitted to sakra world hospital. before sakra, from november of 2019 we are asking all the doctors about what my problems were. I was numb and couldnt walk straight. finally july I was admitted to sakra because my condition increased rapidly. I was wheeled into the neurosurgery section, because another doctor said I have to meet satish doctor in this hospital. so we went into his room, and he told that there is nothing to me, so he doesnt scare me. he told my father about the lumbar decompression surgery that has to be done for me. my dad paid, and we stayed in the ward, after 2 days I got operated by him, and was in ICU for 7 days and Ward for 7 days. he will talk like fun to me so I can stay strong, and not give up. Today im doing cycling and walking everywhere thanks to him.He is like the real god for me

Due to this doctor, who did my surgery and told that I would be fit, i am suffering a lot. He told do this exercise do that exercise post surgery. I did everything but even after 2 years, nothing has improved. I had C5-C6 problem and this greedy doctor performed surgery made a bill of 2.5 lacs for a stay of 2.5 days and nothing improved. This is the worst neurosurgeon.

He gives you hope n trust me he is not money oriented .. I had undergone spine surgery . It was a very last stage hence surgery was necessary.. but post operation I was on very least medication n more on self healing by exercise... he will not charge unnecessarily n sometimes he will not charge anything for follow ups...

This is my personal experience. I visited Satish Rudrappa for my mother's Spine problem. He asked us to do MRI, two x-rays and few blood tests. All these tests including doctors fee cost 23000/- rupee. We showed all these reports to doctor, he did not see MRI and x-rays at all and without seeing these reports he said " there is no problem" But actually my mother has lot of pain in her spine due to which she is not able to walk properly. This doctor is very greedy and only look for money. I visited him after looking at practo reviews. Now when I put negative reviews in practo, it does not accept. Looks like practo never accept negative reviews of any doctor. I will never recommend this greedy doctor and will never go with practo reviews. May God this doctor get big problem in his spine and feel the real pain.

He is the best spine surgeon we ever come across. It's a very critical situation to decide whether to go for a spine surgery or nit. Thanks to dr Rudrapa, the patient got operated successfully and also started walking just in a few days..he has expertise in whatever he does.

I had very bad experience with this Dr at a first consultation.He talked in a very discourteous manner to my parents and me.He was not even allowing us to present our physical complaints to him. He insulted us saying that we are a king , queen and princess of obese family.He asked my mother who is 58 years old and also suffering from severe knee pain as cartilage degenerating confiirmed by MRI scan, to swim and reduce weight.We requested him that she can't even bend her legs do he said " don't you people have anything in your brains.....I am talking in hindi only".I searched him in internet as a good doctor to consult, and he is, but he is very proud of his fame and richhness that he doesn't value that my parents came down to Bangalore from Mumbai , we waitec there in his brain and spine clinic for 2 hours for our turn, .....his clinic was 1 hr far from my house with full traffic in evening.His secretary Uday , who was also impolite gave us appointment at 7 50 pm but our turn came at 9 30 pm.moreover there are so less chairs and a lot old patients with attender.No proper seating arrangement for people in pain. He instructed his watchman to tell people to sit in MTR hotel downstairs, till we will get a call from receptionistwhich is Very awkward to do for 2 hours.Ignoring all this meeting the doctor was a worst experience.His fees us 1500 bugs which we paid for getting insulted, a epidural advice and telling us to go as this was a very minor complaint......which is serious for us in day to day life...... Doctor is money minded, his schedule is tight, does not listen to patient problems properly, no seating arrangement, he has his surgery patient scheduled far past and wants to just see people in s speedy way , take 1500, advice for epidural and injections after 7 weeks of suffering he plans for surgery when he finds his slot empty.its quiet clear from his discourteous attitude., no respect for elderly patients, who have seen their life experience all over.the doctor acts like mentally unstable....this was our first and last and worst experience with this doctor ......I wasted my time , energy and also gave trouble to my elderly parents in pain. I will never recommend such doctor if he is mannerless, however vast knowledge he keeps.Attitude and gratitude leads you to inner peace and success.God will certainly punish him for his behaviour.

When I first got to know that I have a tumour in the brain, my parents relatives husband went in search of the best neurologist in Bangalore, and finally we were happy meeting Dr.Satish Rudrappa, as he is not only a confident person but also makes his patients feel the same energy! Hats off to his commitments?

Infact he made us realise I need surgery but never told us how long and what procedures required, he met me day before the surgery when I was kind of scared and made me and my family feel confident about the surgery. That was so so so sweet of him, ?

Now I am getting better with one week of surgery and in one word I say he is the BEST!

My brother-in-law had problem while walking. Our family doctor recommended Dr.Satish for the surgery. We consulted this doctor and my brother in law is doing great. Doctor is down to earth, explains the problem very neatly to the patients. I would recommend this doctor for any neuro or Spine surgery.

He is very good human being . Helped many poor patients with his own charity. he will not takes/ less fees from poor patients . if he suggests for operation means then there is absolute necessary of it . he won't cut the body just for bucks . he has immense knowledge and vast experience.

He talked to us in a good manner. He was a good doctor. He was a experienced doctor. He checked up my friend's father and said that after a surgery he could fit.

So we arranged for surgery and after a successful surgery his father became fit.

He has a good knowledge in his field. He treats in a good manner.

Dr. Satish Rudrappa ha a great patience and he also doesn't give extra and waste medicine.

My mother got operated spine. Which is not at all suite for her age. This guy said it is easy and with in a week she will be alright. She struggle six months to get up. Till now we are getting some other issues.

Better to die rather doing operation like this.

I came in touch with Dr Satish in 2012 when my Friend Rishi's Father Due to Tumour Problem went to Dr Satish. We take an appointment for him. Greedy & immature surgeon risks patient's life for few bucks. My uncle nearly died & had similar experiences with other patients. Has good rapport with other docs & maintains good review with other sites(paid advt) & hence everybody gets fooled.

Visit only at your own risk.Very nice before consent to surgery, once surgery done(gets money) dumps patient & scolds patient family & relatives if something goes wrong, used to be at Manipal & moved may be due to lot of complains. My friend's father died recently because of his unwanted surgery & very unprofessional/unethical & he had kept him in ICU for weeks just to grab money.

Beware of his secretary & junior docs, fools patient(since they get lot of commission) & some family got thrashed when they confront him.

I found lots of good review about Dr R Satish, but realty he is typical Surgeon and don't have any other option than Surgery for your spine related issue.

Will gives all kind of assurance in first visit for cure without any Surgery and advise MRI+X-Ray etc tests and final advise will be Surgery without any prescription of medicines or exercise etc which all promised in first visit.

Highly commercialized and not patients friendly experienced doctor as listened. Not at all serving nation.
