Talking about the serial

The plot is very beautiful the idea engrossed in the serial in each episode is appraisable

Chandragupta is the king of pipliwan

And he and chanakya together with other Patriots try to escape the throne from dhananand and make the country a more democratic peaceful and prosper.

The idea of each scene is head scarthing

Like some of the ideas give by chandr guru

Is mind-blowing

But sometimes the scene is not quite appealing

Sometimes its more on the imaginative side far from reality

I know it's drama and its means to be different

But sometimes it becomes indigestible

Also the in every scene is centre around one point only and on which a 30 min serial is stretched. Not much of quality content.

The acting of all the characters are actually good

They all get deep into the character

And mine favourite is dhananand

Overall if you have sufficient time

You can spend on watching this

You won't be regret

Chandragupt maurya is the best dramtist sereal no one is like this . I have watched all episodes, every episode has big entertenment, I have found my ancient culture.What abeauty was in india.and has prosperity in my country.But India has badbluck, foreigners have come and become a ruler, Those foreigners do rule on our self, at rhat time india was the best country of the world, and india was the richest country of the world.every country and every person of the world want to do the buisness with india.as a buisnessman those foreghners came to india, and get some gready indians.And lure them for some gold.and attract those to ourself Slowly slowly those people involve in indian politics and in the last they have Possession on india , and those foreghners people sneeching the propetties from our indian people.and do the create crises for them.there was, anywhere, A man was standind in the name of Aachaarye Chankya.India's protecter. He did not want foreghners ruler in his country.

I am watching Chandragupt serial regularly and found it educational teachings of Chankya on diplomacy, economics, warfare, etc. There are several version and interpretations of Chandragupt and not much artifacts were available until beginning of the of the 20th Century. It is difficult to ascertain which version is true, but story resurrect national pride as finally Chandragupt evicted Seleucus from India! However, as usual this serial like Indian movies also has flavor of Masala.

In the recent episode, Director has attempted incorporate idea of Gladiator using slaves to fight of die, a way of entertainment organised in ancient Greece. Chandragupt is being taken a prisoner fro treason to kill Seleucus now being the gladiator who has to fight to survive! Though the idea is not bad but it should have been acknowledged that it has been taken from movie GLADIATOR.

We are still unknown to the all truth of Chandragupta maurya but Abhishek sarkar has made it all the possible thing to make it real story of Maurya empire.Children are fond of the show and Even they want to acts as gupta maurya.

This is good serial.this is historical serial.i realy like it.my faverite caractor of chanakya. This is very youseful I our life.i realy big fan of chanakya.chanakya was big pandit of our history.

What a serial on history character I have ever seen . I with my family were very keen to see chandragupta maurya . Its back ground music was superb .

Its character and plot were awesome especiially chanakya who have acted im many serial and currently acting in parmavar shri krishna on and tv.

I was very disappointed when imagine tv closed and all episodes of this serial could not be telecasted . I also saw on you tube but could not see the aal episodes of it this serial introduce us to the rise of maurya empire .and fall of nanda vansh .

The story of chanakya and chandragupta is well known to Indians. but this TV serial is above all expectations. Each and every character of this serial has performed very well.

chandragupta was real hero of the indian history I knew after this serial.

it was very intresting to see this program.

The way Chanakya has shown there courage when Chanaky decided that Chandragupta could be the empire of he united India. Chanaky could see the qualities that the chandragupta had. Teachers should be like this.

This story not only teaches the true essence behind the saying brain over brawn how a person, just considered as a revolting teacher, with his wits and cleverness not only defeated mighty Greeks and Indian empires, but also rises the slave boy to become the king.

Charecter of Maghad King Dhananad was very interesting the way his drunken king character made him to lose his empire.

And that to say Amatya, Sukhdev, Dananand, Chandragupta and above all the great Chanakya. Manish Wadhwa has justice to his character.

It was very unfortunate that the show stopped suddenly. But I assure you that the this show is above all the history based show.

Cause the gidence of the Chnakya and KUT-NITI what he plyed is real and even practical even in todays world. I recommend you to see this program rather than reading books of history based on Chandragupta.

This serial is based on history of india. in this story there are two important characters ( chandragupta and chanakya) chanaya is a brahman wish strategy ( niti) is awesome. and chandragupta is awrsome either. when I watch this serial I get excited and inspired. this serial has incomplete eoisodes. because this serial was running on ndtv imagine, wbich is later closed due to some reasion. so chandragupta episode is incomplete. I think it stopped at episode no. 104. this will be better if this seirial complete its episode. I want to see the next new episodes. I am waiting.

Chandragupta Maurya is the very famous serial and my favourite serial. it is a well written and well picture serial .dialogue of Chanakya are very meaningful and every word is important. for example is advised to Chandragupta that expect the army help from other things you have to be a king and I love this serial

Chandragupta murya is the son of the senapati of maghadh.as by cheating the maghadh king , padhama nadha take overrule on magadha and due to this the father os chandragupta murya was became against with padhamananda.and he fought many battles with him. at last the father of chandragupta was kill by padhamanan's son .dhananan . and he is very cruel about its public.on the other side dhananan torcer his public so channakya a bharman oppose this and said dhananan that , he will finesh you set new king here who will care his public .and give each every traning to his student chandragupta. . after very struggle he first won gandhar without fight by using its improbity.and at last by working hard using mind they won magadha.and then chandragupta overrule whole magadha

Chandragupt Maurya lacks historic research.

It is not easy to narrate life saga of emperor Chandragupta Maurya – one who is often a subject of academic discussion.

Chandragupta Maurya was not a mere king;but an emperor who writ ran across world.

Any wonder, he had  his governors up to Kandhar(afghanisthan).

Alas, this serial seriously lacks right depiction of a great character.

But then, it is simply copying Chanakya by Dr. Chandrakant Dwivedi.

It does carry good set direction, dress designing and some back ground score.

However, one can’t just go by them.

What it lacks is powerful research along with powerful acting.

I have never seen this types of serials before. In spite of shutting down imagine TV, on Facebook fans made "save chandragupta maurya show" and over 1 laces fans  there and not stops they here but also made   rallies in Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai.

Now only waiting all for NOC received from Tuner group(imagine TV)  and run this serials once again on Sony TV, this day will coming very soon I pray to god. This serial is awesome serials for those who want to achieve some things in her/his life.

After watching Chopra's Mahabharat and the earlier Chanakya series, I thought that historical dramas was one of the few categories of entertainment that India has figured out.  I was wrong. I have seen half of this show largely to humour my father. The dramatic camera angle shifts are distracting. The music, though admittedly great standing alone, manipulates the audience into recognizing emotion that the acting should do on its own.The story and characters range from unlikely to absurd.

The entire story also ranges from historically exaggerated to downright historically false. Instead of exploring the complex political scene of the times, it baits us with how "cool" Chandragupta is when he kills multiple adults (often fighting together) as a child. The single funniest moment is the first time you see the dark brown skinned, Hindi speaking, curly- blonde- wig wearing "Alexander". I literally burst out laughing.

This childish soap is probably a good place for a 5 year old to develop some interest in Hellenistic India. Outside of that it's probably best to avoid it. It certainly can't compare to the mature original Chanakya series.

I am not a person who would watch much television and serials are the last programs that I would prefer.

But somehow after all the episodes of Chandragupt Maurya were aired and after the channel NDTV Imagine was taken down I came to know about this serial. So I just open up youtube and checkout the first episode of this serial

Just by seeing one episode I develop a liking to this. I noticed that this is not an typical epic story telling serial and it offers not only drama, suspense but also some great learnings.

It has situations where you can relate to you work life, personal life etc and gain insights that how the sayings are still true. I am currently stuck as I am looking to source the episodes(can't view them all on youtube). But unable to find the same anywhere.

I would strongly recommend watching this serial if your in the 25+ age group as they can relate it to their daily lives.

It has been stopped because anti national powers don't want that Indians can know their rich heritage culture. The serial is not about only politics but give moral strength to one's daily life also. I think there is some politics behind it. It can turn the current generation to start love their country at any cost. It even show the strength of Chandu is much much more than sikender mahan(Do u think him mahan as compared to chandu)as it uses its power to strengthen own country and not invading other countries.
