Casio SF 3700A Reviews

New Delhi India
Casio SF 3700A the best buy
Jun 13, 2005 05:10 PM 12635 Views

My dad gifted me Casio SF 3700A on my 15th birthday. On my first impression I felt like why do I need a digital diary. But then I started reading the information manual of this diary and I knew this was useful. After knowing its features I started entering the tele data and it took me just about 1/2 an hour to enter 60 contacts. Entering data was really easy. After that I decided to enter memo contacts and wow the memo didn`t synchronise alphabetically but instead it entered one after the other. Even the display was good with the 13*4 screen area.

The most interesting part was the memory. It had a huge memory space. Enough to enter all my tele data plus a large amount of memo data. I have entered almost 150+ of contacts , about 150 memos , 5o+ to do list , 10 schedules etc. both in the secret and normal modes and I am using only 22.14 kb.Quick search feature is also good if you have several contacts and data. The electronic green backlit is also very useful for night viewing. The secret mode is my favorite feature as it can secure the data you don`t want others to see.

SF 3700A also has a few setbacks such as no datalink with a computer. In the secret mode feature once you forget the password there is no way to get back the data entered. It also drains a lot of battery one has to change the battery in every 8-10 months if you are a frequent user. Another thing I did notice was the speed , SF3700A is very slow in comparison to other digital diaries.

But I would like to conclude that Casio SF3700A is the best digital diary I have seen so far. Its a great buy with great value for money.

CAsio was the first digital diary for me with 8 MB RAM but soon I graduated to 64 followed by 126 MB and now the 256 MB one. Very fond of CASIO for its sheer innovation, this product is also comes into the same category as others. Great to use and store. It stores every thing I would like to have while I am travelling. It literally is a small computer in my hand and performs many a function without giving problem. I am glad I kept my trust with CASIO going because never ever it has given my problem. The features are basically an enhancement of features available in the other digital diaries but the finish on the system make it very very user friendly
