I recently had an unpleasant experience with Blinkit, which led me to question their service and product quality. I intended to order 'Licious' brand chicken, known for its freshness, but mistakenly ordered a brand called 'Delicious'. Upon receiving the order, I was dismayed to find that the chicken was actually a frozen product with a shelf life of 12 months, which was not what I was looking for.
The packaging was misleading, with no brand name 'Delicious' to be found; instead, it was labeled 'Dekl chic', which added to the confusion. There was no expiry date mentioned, and alarmingly, there was an absence of FSSAI certification on the package. It felt like a tactic to nudge customers into buying substandard items under the guise of another brand.
When I contacted Blinkit customer support within 5 minutes of receiving the order, hoping for a simple return or exchange, my request was flatly denied. Despite explaining the mix-up to the customer care executive, Noor, who was polite over the call, it was clear that company policy was inflexible even for such a quick turnaround request.
This experience was far from what I expected from Blinkit. It's one thing to enforce policies, but another to disregard customer satisfaction completely, especially when it concerns potential health and safety issues with food products. My confidence in Blinkit has been shaken, and I am left questioning their commitment to customer service and quality assurance.
