Bernette Moscow 7 Computerised Sewing Machine Reviews

Best bernina

I didn't think I wanted an embroidery machine - quilting is my thing. But I LOVE this machine. Wish I had purchased one much sooner!

As with all Berninas you can't beat the stitch quality. The built-in Dual Feed is wonderful!

I quilt using a walking foot(am not adept at free-motion) so you can imagine the stuffing and wadding I have to do to get the quilt thru the head of the machine when quilting an intricate design. Well - here are 2 real positives with this machine:

First of all, the space between the needle and the machine is a whopping 12"(measured diagonally) so there's plenty of manuvering room. Secondly, I've been downloading some really nice "quick stitch" embroidery designs and using them for quilting.

These designs are often redwork designs - sometimes single run designs in which the design is stitched with only a single pass of the needle/thread comprising the design. This is working out great! My last Bernina was a 1630 and I had made up my mind not to purchase a new machine until Bernina came out with the Dual Feed feature. Well it's here and it's on this machine. I'm loving sewing all over again because nothing sews like a Bernina. Nothing!
