Using 450x for the past 1 year really liked the performance and pickup. Did one service as well.no issues seen till now. More service centres needed as there are limited service centers

I do not recommend Ather for any customers mainly because of their bad Marketing strategy. 450S which was their recent launch, its price reduced by 20-25K in Jan 2024. Imagine the customers who bought it in Dec 2023 and adding salt to wound, showroom even motivated to buy immediately in dec 23 bcz 2024 subsidy may be cancelled by Govt.
Its straightforward cheating by Ather and worst marketing strategy.
Also mileage is not as expected, it gives only 60-65KM in actual road condition. Overall its a not value for money product. If its available under 90L may be 450S is good product.
Generally I never write a negative comment but this time I have been so helpless. Ather is driven by technology & they make customer hostage in-between the road. Without any prior intimation by email or sms Ather scooter has started the sign “ top up your app” which means suddenly they have started charging the fees to recharge the battery from the Public Fats Grid. Till now it was not a problem but when I went to my app .. it showing no scooter is linked to your app. This is the time I felt like Ather has made me hostage through technology. Now since last one week I have tried to reach out Ather via email / phone but no solution has been given to me. They make customer hostage due to their technology failure. I urge DO NOT PUT YOUR HARD MONEY IN ATHER SCOOTER.

We bought scooter on april 23, after that they are taking charge on everything. They even taking charge on ather connect for montering, bike location everything.

Amazing quality amazing experience, i bought this recently 450 plus but only two things are there i am not happy about at all and this is impacting my day to day life. First is the range your battery capabilty is more than what you offer and now as per the market compition as well you should give 100km on 450plus and 120 on 450x at least your product is not cheap right so you should give at least that update and make it worth. Second is charging time is too much it take about 5 to 6 hours. 4 or 4.30 is perfectly fine 5 to 6 is like waiting forever. I don't have near fast charging station as well so please do something about this and i belive Ather will be perfect compition in market.
I agree with what ever you said above but after 8 to 12 months it will not even cover 10 to 25 km in one charge it will automatically get switched off in middle of the road what can we do. I am facing same issue and after requesting for new battery the issue is still continues and the showroom person/owner is telling us to wait until we get new battery but what is this he gave us new battery telling its a new battery from company after waiting for 3 months. and still we facing same issue . now its like after investing so much of money and using it for 8 months we kept our vehicle in home for exhibition without BATTERY for 3 months and again waiting for another 2 month for 2nd battery I m really fed up and feeling very exasted
overall I feel its waste to invest on this electric vehicle.
There is no reason going for ev as they are charging very expensive horn switch 450/rs, side stand 3000 , in warranty status after warranty god knows what all they will add service charges better to go normal scooter, more over service is always a issue to
Ather is one of the few competitors in the field of electric vehicles in India. My friend recently bought an Ather 450x and he is completely in love with his new vehicle. I want to speak about how it is different from other two wheelers, and the first thing that could say is the reverse option. It is really good feature for new gen vehicles. It has a decent, cool looking body. It has various ride modes ( Eco, Smart Eco, Ride, Sport and Warp) with a maximum speed of 90kmph. The range varies with the modes used. It is good to use within city limits.
I tried both Ather 350 and Ather 450 but I liked the Ather 450 most as becouse of the wrap mode in it, this makes me feel better than any other scooters yes its time to shift to Battery bikes, as of the high price of petrol. Aslo the service and attenders at its dealer showroom are well trained and behaved, no double they are good in all, but I must say it raises coustomer's expectations to be more better than this.
It is a new generation e bikes, but comes to the straight point that, this is the one of the most costly product, as Indian people need they are just come to buy the e vehicles just to avoid the expenses of fuel, but ather cost is like it's included already with it.
Ather 450 is an electric scooter powered by 5.4kw electric motor sound interesting right, but firstly I just want to say that it has top speed of 80km/hr mentioned by company, but after using 6 months it mileage goes decrease to 65km/hr and need to re-charge again so this is one of cons, I think it a battery issue after servicing I found that battery is not as much good as company said on statement, very disappoint about this but one thing after replacement of battery by company all seem to good, now it's okay, for comfort its very good scooter, my scoter dealer manager is good so I get all services free
Dear Tarun Mehta, Still I am waiting your reply.Same issue we have been facing and Tyre pressure is also not stable since the 4th day when I purchased the vehicle, while a riding vehicle restarted automatically, It's still not resolved. Kindly look into this issue. It's already getting too long for resolutions, subscriptions also not working properly (app sync issues). still now so many tickets have been raised with various complaints, I did not expect this like service. It’s already 55days approx.
This ather people when i have been to there jp nagar outlet to collect the information about vehicle that time there executive named vishnu dint tell us anything about paying extra for the first year subscrition .later when full payment was for ather 450x that i received a mail asking me to purchase the subscription for the very first year for which i was not ready..so for which i escalated a mail to ather people asking them either to give the subscription free or to refund the whole amount paid by me , because it was their sales person who kept the subscription thing hidden...now when i have escalated a mail those people replied me asking to give them some time to look into the matter..so they wasted my 3days by saying the same thing in mail and on call..now when i started pressurising them , they have sent me a mail saying that we have given a warning to our dealer so that he wont repeat it again .? i mean what kind of sollution is it..
In india compare to other scooter this is more costly.And didn't have any safety precaution. Low period of warranty time they are provided. It required more improvement .
The product is really high quality. When compared to other scooters this is the best way to go for a electric scooter. But if you're on a budget you might wanna get something different. Overall good feel and looks like an badass scooter. The wheels are slightly larger than other scooters so it's more safe. Both wheel are disk brakes so another addition to saftey. Good job ather ????
As per Indian market due to slow down in economy vehicle is not worth paying one lakh. The Same vehicle we get for 15, 000/- plus in the Chinese market.i think the Indian market wants to
grab the money more and more with 90% profit for a single vehicle.
Please wait for some more months and quality EV vehicle will be coming for 30, 000/- plus with all the facilities.Finally its not worth going for ather 450 as their mindset is to make more profit rather than giving for reasonable price.
The review is mainly towards Ather as a brand. These people are new in business. They don't have sales support team in place. I had worst of experience in my life time. Once you pre-order the bike. It's totally on you no one will help you. These people will keep changing deadline as per their convenience. That not enough they are not even ready to accept their fault.
It's like booking a Honda and waiting in a que of TATA Nano.
I will cancel my order. My advice don't buy it.
Ather is made in India.. I support.. but cost is very very high.. if you quote this much High.. definitely other brands like MI will enter again in scooter industry & give cheaper bikes and definitely they'll close you're market.. reduce price otherwise you're gone soon..
As this is so costly and money is valuable.
So in this preference I want to ask that is 80kmph is enough as it's top speed.
It need again and again service.
It is not appropriate for children as this is heavy. I think this is the biggest drow back for me as a children.
The engine is far good. It means that at starting it's work is superb but afterwards it start draining.

The ather is the just like tesla bike in india . It best quality provide. The ather 450 top speed is 80 kmpl and and acceleration is 0-40 kmph is in just 3.9 sec.the motor is the bldc motor and the total power is 7.24 bhp.
