I applied for 2 arrear exam, they send 1 paper only for hallticket, anotherone they said corona time so its pass. I was passed that 1 paper only. afterthat I called continously many times in 3 year, they said postponed certificate.

but 6 months back I came to university my graduation certificate, that time only they give biggest shock to me. that one paper is still have arrear. but they didn't said still now, even I was called every two months regarding my certificate, everytime I give my register number also, but no one is inform to me.

they easily waste my 3 years. inbetween I send mail also. one of the worst university in the world is alagappa university. even I was paid full amount of 2 papers and graduation certification fees too. but they send 1 paper, still now they didn't give proper reply. now also I try to arrear exam.

their side not give proper response. they have so much of numbers in university, mostly they didn't pickup everytime. min 20 times call to all numbers, then only 1 person attend. many days they didn't attend. I don't know how to complaint this university to whom for taking action

Uttar pradesh ke koi bhi student admisson na le, varna bad me bas jhelna padega....

Jb tak fees lena rahega tab tak collage vale baat karte hai varna call cut kar denge

Mai SIPM diploma ka student hu

Course 1 years ka tha but mera 2.5 years ho gaya

Or collage ki faculty ignore kar rahi

Sab bas paise ke liye karte hai

Pls mat fasiye varna paisa Or time dono barbad ho jayega

My experience at alagappa university is fantastic. I did my masters, M. Phil in distance mode. Also i continued Ph. D. Everything went perfect. One jus me, my friends also had a good positive reply. The people who attended my phone calls were very polite. Corporate secretaryship dept is fantastic. The research dept is also too good. The librarian at library are also very kind.

Alagappa university is one of the best university in Tamil Nadu. It has accredited with A+ grade by NAAC. They provide courses in arts, science, management and education. The administration and academic sections are good. Distance education also meritorious.

Hello everyone

I am writing this review to inform you all that this is one of the worst university's. Atleast in the case of distance education I can guarantee you lots of trouble. First of all they don't pick up calls, after several calls even if it is answered, they will keep postponing your query/detail/issue .

Secondly, I did my graduation in distance education mode from this University and came to know after 3 years of my graduation when I went to take up a job that my course is not UGC approved. They kept on fooling me for over a month, but didn't accept that their course is not approved. I had to start with my graduation once again.

Thirdly, they don't send the degree / marksheet unless you pressurize them and for sending they will charge extra money for every document, shipping charge and all.

Hello readers what I experience their is its an old university using old method of teaching

In Academics - they gave graduation and post graduation like B. Com, m. Com, and diploma and many more the way the use for teaching is very old pattern in which student are becoming machines no practical knowledge is giving just theoritical concepts are clearing their

Infracture - ohh good the building of this university is very old and infracture is not good lack of grenarey and specially the equipments for science section

Staff - when me and my friend visited this university and when we meet to the adminstration department they tell us something about university not whole amd their attitude is not good and some of teachers are not well trained to teach

Extracurricular activities - lack of other activites bit yes they focus on personality development. Rather than no sports event occur here no focus on practical knowledge

So me and my friend came to understand that this university is not good for him so we reject this and took admission in other university I want to suggest you that there are very good option than this university so I think you should visit it first.

I was doing my bsc.maths 1st year and they first gave books late then atlast when they kept exam and gave the result after 3 months that to they since dont have anyone to correct they entered marks randomly.this is the one of worst university in south and my suggesion would be if u dont want to risk ur career plz dont apply there

Hello Friends, I am from Mumbai and has done Graduation from this College but let me tell you for Distance Learning this College is not worth.

Academic Programs - Alagappa University offers Graduation and Post Graduation Courses like B.Com, B.C.A, M.B.A, PG Diploma Programs from some are offered at distance learning level. They Separate Support system for Distance Learners.

Administration - It will be best for you if you are from Tamil Nadu but from other state it may create an unhelpful management because many times due to language issue it is unable to solve many problems but many time staff here provide accurate and true information.

Extracurricular Programs- They offer personality development program, They try to enhance your communication as well. They have specific batches for such programs. So if you want to apply then keep an eye over there as it is harldy always available.

Alumni Network- NA for me as I was from Distance Learning

No Individualized learning method. The textbook has old content which is not at all useful in this era. No proper interaction between student and staff member is available. This is the only best way of doing graduation for those who are not much well with money and going the distance for namesake. I can tell you what you learn from textbox from them is slightly useful to you. They have an app for remote student but it is not at all useful because it took me two years now but still I can't able to see e-textbook till today. Thank You

I visited Alagappa University this April and my experience has not been good.

The university does not have the required infrastructure especially the science department.

I met their administrative staff and their behaviour was quite amusing.

They did share some of the details about how they run the operations of the university but not in detail.

I also met some of the faculty members and they clearly lacked the required expertise in their respective fields.

They also looked lazy to me and some of the students told me that they never complete the syllabus on time.

They do have b.a, b.sc, b.com courses in graduation to m.a, m.sc in masters as well as ph.d degrees in some subjects.

The university does not endorse sports too much as extra curricular activities but they do organise cultural fests regularly and encourage students to participate in them.

Their alumni network is not that strong whatever there is were not so enthusiastic to help newer students in their university life.

This is my personal experience with this university. This university provides good education platform for students a bright future. Students make good future with this university at a time. I want to share the problem with this university. Its academic programs are given bad time schedule date to students and date list has in office but did not show on a notice board. This university extracurricular program well works for students and this university does not give any opportunity for a good future. This university does not give job opportunity after the complete degree from this university.

If you want to study at this university, please keep some point in your mind.

1. The syllabus may be not finished at the end of a semester.

Alagappa university is the best university in the Tamilnadu even in the south India it is the best university which provide a good education.

I would like to bring to everybody's notice about the irregularities that is happening in ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY and furthermore a very very distressing struggle of a single student and I believe most of the students are facing almost the same issue.

1- From the 1st year there were no classes conducted what-so-ever, when asked, the study centre their responses are "WE DO NOT HAVE ANY VENUE TO CONDUCT CLASSES AND AS IF YOU SCORE 100%" which is very very rude, lethargic and just not bothered about anything.

2- So I wanted to contact the University about the same but the contact numbers (given in the website) are just ringing and nobody ever picks up the phone, Which is an absolute waste of time. After about trying for 3 - 4 days One person finally

picked up and gave controller of examination number which never existed and I called him again and informed that the number is not working. He again gave another number and I tried the number which keeps ringing and nobody ever picks up. I got fed-up and called him once again to inform the same, but he said that "YOU ARE A STUDENT AND YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO CALL THIS NUMBER AND ON TOP OF THAT IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO HAPPEN YOU SHOULD TRY UNTIL YOU DIE" what kind of response is that...? and he works for the university, which is just unbelievable...

3- During the 3rd year the marks were supposed to be published online in their official website by mid July 2011 but it was not published on-time and when I mailed (on 06 Aug 2011) the university they replied saying that the marks are published already but it was not really published as I have the screen shot on the same day (on 06 Aug 2011) when they replied to me.

So I mailed them back again and they sent me a reply with my marks information from their Official database also with an error as they left-out (a subject missing from the official mark-statement issued by the University) one subject of mine which is 3.6 Lab : Visual Basic and oracle (PRACTICALS). So I contacted my so-called study centre to enquire about the left-out PRACTICALS but they simply said that they (University) were the ones who made the mistake so contact them. So I mailed University again and they sent me ANOTHER PHYSICAL HARD COPY Mark-Sheet corrected.

4- Last and the more serious and worst things ever happened to me when I raised a grievance (through the University website) on the official website (https://alagappauniversity.ac.in/au_grievances.php) about the classes that were not conducted and the attitude of the study centre people. In About 2 weeks I was THREATENED by a person who came home and THREATENED that I should withdraw the complaint that I made on the study centre. I immediately gave him the withdrawal letter not becoz I was scared, simply becoz I was told that the issue will be sorted out and the classes will be conducted for sure and the previous papers will be cleared somehow.

But till date nothing ever happened and absolutely no change, its all the same and worse.

5- My 3rd year completed on May 2011 so I appeared to write my arrears of 6papers (3theory and 3practicals) on Dec2011 but only 4 have been cleared and remaining 2(Theory) I have to Re-Appear again on May2012 but the best part is that the University or the study centre never notified me as to when I have to make the exam fee payment or when the exam starts as usual and when asked they said that its the University's job not our's, as usual the "BLAME GAME".

Unfortunately this time around I dont even know if the University would allow me to write or not and dont know if 'I' will appear for the exams or not as I am not in a position to decide with all the stress and pressure that I'm facing becoz of the University. All these days none of the problems were reported to my Brother-in-Law who is a member of the "BAR COUNCIL CHENNAI"... But unfortunately I have to report it now, becoz my parents believe that it is MY fault that I did not get the degree or clear the exams but to prove them that it is not my fault I have to report it to my Brother-in-Law and seek legal assistance.

I also understand that being a student I should never really stand against MY GURUKULAM i.e. My University (the holy place that gives me knowledge) but when a University threatens me with a GOONDA I think I can stand against them legally, unfortunately that gives me a good-enough reason to seek legal assistance.
