Ricoh - SP 210SU

My friends I will suggest all of you to never buy this Ricoh printer. It is one of the worst product and printer I have ever seen in the market. Once you will purchase this printer you will not get a proper customer service from the company . They don't give you the after Sales Service.I would better suggest go for Epson or you go for HP or any other brand you like, but don't buy this Ricoh printer .Although this Ricoh printer is obsolete in the market. So I would suggest dont buy this printer.

I am a Stationery Shop Owner, I need a Printer for My Business. My requirement was Fast Printer having Scan, Copy & Print Option and which is not so Costly.

Earlier I have HP Laser printer. I used it several years, But as My workload increased, I need one more Printer which is Fast, Reliable and Cheap. I searched all websITES_Company, and I Found all HP and all other Branded All in One Laser Printers(i.e. Scan, Copy, Print) are available between the range 12000 to 15000 range, while I dont want to spend that much money on Printer. So at the time of Scrolling and Surfing I Found Ricoh laser Printer SP210Su on Amazon. Printer Cost was 8295/. It shows all the Features I required and Overall It was looking A Very good package at My Price Tag. So I Ordered Ricoh SP210SU Laser Printer in the Month of October 2017, The Amazon delivered it within 2 days.

Printer is Very Easy to Handling. There are Several Setting Option and all are very easy to operate.

Printer is very User Friendly- All Buttons are easy. I didn't Find anything complicated.

Printer Speed is Very Fast- U can used it as a Mini Copier(Xerox) Machine. It has inbuild setting of ID Card Printing where U can Print Aadhar or other ID cards Front and Back on Same Paper. U can also adjust the Density so that Aadhar Photo can be printed clearly. U can also reduce and enlarge the Copy.

I did lots of work on it, After Using for One Month. The Drum got damaged and I have to change it. It Costs 300 Rs. After that I ordered Printer Toner which costs 300 Rs.

It is very easy to Open the Cartridge, Fill the Toner Powder. After 2 toner filling U have to open the whole cartriage. Clean whole cartridge, Remove the waste toner and reassemble the Cartridge. Reassembling is the most difficult and irritating thing. It has 2 Springs which are very hard to put into their position. After doing this thing three or four times. I m expert Now.:)

One More thing is that there is One Small Chip onto the Cartridge. After @2000 Prints when U found that the Print is Black at that time U have to change it. It is available online also at Rs. 250/-

Overall I am satisfied with the Printer. If U want to Buy a Laser Printer this is also a better option for U.

I not seen this type of printer ever. This is not working properly. This is my unfavourite printer. Comparing to other printers this is worst printer. I used this printer since 2015. Recently I sold this printer in 2017 september. I brought this printer in ebay. I not liked at all this printer. So I am requesting to dont buy this printer

I have used this product a year ago.But overall no satisfactory result has been found.Though it is monochromatic in printing but even in this feature, it provides faint printing.Many times, some characters get overlapped.Its multifunction features are only show-off.Neither it scans with good resolution nor it copies with demanded xerox quality.

One of the poorest thing is that one has change chip above 1000 pages alongwith toner and cartridge which are much high in prices.Its toner and cartridge are not available in market easily.

Also its scanning, copying as well as printing speed is so slow below standard level.Many times papers get jammed due to its bad machinery.Likewise in bold font, it prints low quality characters.Scanned documents are not readable clearly especially when images are to recognised.

One has to reset many times during its printing time.Such nonsense program has been designed in its chip.Also it produces noise while printing.Also USB feature is compatible but it does noy read pen-drive fast.It takes time to transfer data.Do not prefer such worthless product for office or home users.

I bought this printer recently because I have heard good reviews about it.

I ordered it online. And it was delivered within a week.

So I started using it and I was completely satisfied with the printout quality.

I usually print documents but for a trail I printed a photograph and it was good as well.

It has been3 months I have been using it.

Now I am facing one problem evrytime I want to print black I had to pull out the cartridge and put it back in.

Then only it works otherwise it gives a blank page.

I also tried replacing the cartridge but it doesnt solved my problem.

Now this thing irritates me and I am going to buy some other brand.

Not satisfied with product quality.

Dear friends,

This ricoh SP 210SU is a good performance printer in long durability to reduce maintenance cost of it there is only ink cost required after printing across 2000 to 2500 pages in a single filled catridige.

There is our choice to make the printing capacity of cartridge ink used to print by adjusting density of ink printed on a sheet of paper by doing this we can decrease the ink consumption and more pages will be print. In its advantages it has special feature of id card copy print on single page and fast copier and its tray size is also have 150 sheets capacity to fix.

I was bought it in last month gone, it works flawless without any problems. But there is one feature left of wireless network connection if it is present then it will become excellent in featuers with budget cost.

Well I brought this printer through amazon online on august 15th for rs.6900/-. I got it delivered on time by the amazon to my house. well the printer is nice and beautiful for home use or office use. we started using the printer for xerox uses and printouts whenever needed. the quality of printing is good and the maintenance is also very easy. paper handling and refill of the cartridge is also easy. once the cartridge is refilled I can take printouts of 1500 pages.

Hi friends, Ricoh is not a known brand which will provide a good quality product, I purchased there printer for my official use but its performance is not very good it is just an average printer which work for only 2 or 3 months as after that it will start creating a problem for us. Epson. service is also very bad from ricoh and sometimes it's come out without any print like blank pages. Other features is also not good as I expected at this price. Its printing speed is very low in comparison of others. And as its not a big brand hence its service is very slow and not good. thanks,

Using this for first time in my home after being used to with HP, Canon, Samsung and Fuzi for a few years in our office.

Pros:—

1. Fast& smooth printing—taken a 10 page doc print out.

   
   




2. Print quality—default 600 dpi gives amazing result.

   
   




3. Printer comes with original refill toner which is great.

   
   




4. Easy installation over PC. Received 2 mtrs. long both power& data cable.

   
   




5. Supports all official paper size—A4, A5, legal and many others. Paper size can be customized. Lot of things can be checked in print preference option.

   
   




6. Print out from smartphone and tab with Ricoh official or other android apps.

   
   




7. Toner saving mode makes a big difference in output(almost light grey). 1200x600 dpi in this mode gives good result.

   
   




8. Default option can be set to stop printing of black pages(for scanned/photographic docs)

   
   

Cons:—

1. Bit heavy for domestic purpose.

   
   




2. Takes good amount of space, especially, after opening the three-fold output tray, it can make you think.

   
   




3. Tray quality is not good.

   
   




4. Takes a little longer time to awake from sleep mode as well as for printing 1st page.

   
   

Verdict:—

It’s a budget printer. You can’t expect better monochrome printer in such price with so many options in settings which generally comes with scanner-printer. Truly satisfying.

My brother gifted me that. printer in very good quality . Already printed 1000 pages no issues. Go for it Good product print quality is very good like expensive printers. Worth of money for daily use.

Using in my bank for last six months along with Samsung and brother printers.

Sometimes A bit slow as compared to the other two and the work load, but still reliable when the older ones stopped working due some maintenance work. Already used 2 refills and working nice.

Very good printing with PC, not possible print from Apple mac, I had this checked from the Ricoh india office. He bluntly said NO for Mac. Disappointed since I have only mac at home. I would only recommend for PC users. Paper Handling is too good this printer. It took a while to figure out the adjustment of Tray 1 for A4 size. The pins of the tray need to unlocked so that the length of the tray can be extended to adjust A4 page. Its vert understanding for using. The printing quality is very good but it took a lot of time for me to understand the functions and menu. Printing speed is awesome very quick printing.

Ricoh is worth printing I never seen in my entire life. Its just waste of money. Its doesn't support Windows 7 vista. The scanning is good but printing speed is little bit slow. Scan to usb is good feature, but no option to direct print from USB. Scan quality is not good as compared to Epson. service is also very bad from ricoh and sometimes it's come out without any print like blank pages. Other features is also not good as I expected at this price. The paper handling is also not comfortable to me. So sold this ricoh printer on olx at low price.

Great printer dose what it says it does setting up printer was easy. I down loaded the Driver for printer . Printer is good and as per my requirements when copier is used. Printer arrived packed well nothing missing and everything working beautifully. It's quick to start and print. AM certain it will work for May year as its looks very sturdy. Thinks

Same thing I happened with me, it work for 2 months after that it is not printing anything, when ever I insert anyting to het a copy it always provide a blank page. I think that its ink is empty so I purchased a new pack of ink but even after that it is not working.

At last I complaint about this to the service centre at first they ignore to come but after that they decided to come, they said it is a replacement problem that is a part is damaged and that require replacement but that part is not covered under warranty. So I have to pay but that make the printing speed very slow. Now it takes longer to print a single page which is very time consuming.

Finally I will say that this product is very cheap and poor in its after sale services.

Recently I had install this printer in one of the reputed office in my city. Paper printing is fast.Handling of this Ricoh - SP 210SU is very easy it have a separate tray to fill the papers which is on downside. Removing toner & refilling is so easy, you can refill at your home using refilling kit.

Best thing is that no need to search driver for any other site go to https://ricoh.co.in/download search your model number select the operating system & download the driver. Easy to install.

Think before buy other printer.

This is my first all in one printer. A perfect Home printer it is. scanner& Coppier only for A4, A5 and not for legal. But scan quaility is good. direct to USB scan is its best feature I think. compact Printer with easy handing except page set up in page tray. Ricoh printer is a very nice printer. Its fast and economical. Its printing cost is very less. Pros:- 1. Price of 210Su is in budget. Its not very costly. 2. It also have scanner, and you can directly put your document in pendrive by scanning. 3. Its screen has three line display. 4. It can also work like photocopy machine. Cons:- 1. Plastic used in its body is not of very good quality. 2. It doesn't have auto-rotating option. 3. No fax option. If we compare its pros and cons, if come to know that its a very good product because its price is low and functions are many and most important its printing quality is good.
