It is best mobile phone in qwerty keypad .Nokia is known for the large battery backup and this e71can stand strongly on that. In this nokia phone camera, wifi, bluetooth, email, full business and internet service available. This phone working properly and not hang anytime.This phone have external memory of upto 8Gb.The qwerty keypad light are awesome of this phone I love those message notification blink lights.In this phone video calling is also avialble in this phone rear camera and front camera available and camera quality is very good. Nokia e71 has a symbian software, all symbian apps like whatsapp, facebook messenger, line, wechat, opera mini, uc browser games work easily.The sound quality of mp3 songs is excellent it also have podcasts and radio fm.


This phone is also light in weight and easy to handle.


Nokia e71 is the best business phone with qwerty keypad easily typing pad.

I love this phone

I kove this phone . I buy this handset in june 2008 but I an still use it to call and do sms and still its doing very good. I drop this phone from my apartment I live on 3rd floor in my building. But this phone wake up and only the body us bit crack from side buy the phone is working pretty fine now I am using a white colour body and it looks great. People ase me sometimes about the phone and everybody shocks when I tell him the real age of the phone.

Nokia is the best mobile product and I buy four years back and its specification was awesome and I was impressed.


Actually I bought this mobile not just because of brand but also its specification was superb. My Nokia E71 is one of the best and I was used this from the long time ago.


My mobile is the best because I can use this even hard because its a keypad and I was impressed from camera and flash and speed capacity.

I bought this phone in 2010 and it worked very fine it has Symbian processor which works very nice also it has the rear camera with LED flash and that is a good thing but the front camera can be only used for video calls that is what I didn't like. The phone also feel a little heavy but when the battery is removed it is very light also its back panel is of stainless steel which is very good. Also the speaker output is not so loud. I did not like its price because it is priced too high.overall it's a very good phone by Nokia.

Nokia E71 MY EXPERIENCE

I was using this phone since 7 years and it's still in working condition and gives a good performance. It's body needs to be changed so that it looks good and its battery also needs to be replaced so that it works smooth. It gives awesome download speed when on 3.5g and it can download torrents also.


It can play games at good speed. I camera is also good and its made only for near pics not far pics. It also have front cam which is a plus point, we can use it for selfies but its front cam quality is poor. Its production is currently stopped so its not available to buy but if anyone is willing to buy it, I have provided the review and its on you to buy it or not.

The product I bought fome times back has the worst battery life. I have changed the battery 2 times in 7 months and spent so much.


I called up the center 2 times but they did not give any definitive answer.


I will never recommend Nokia E71 to anyone

After less than 2 years the phone is a dead stone

I liked the phone. It has wonderful features and I paid almost 13 grand for it. I expect it to last at least few years but it is 1 year and 8 months and they say it is irreparable. All of a sudden one day the phone stopped getting charged and I took to the Nokia center yesterday {Falnir Road, Mangalore] and the man at the counter tells me that phone may go dead while repairing and its written in the receipt. I read the receipt and nothing of that sort was there but he insisted that it may happen as if he was sure. My fault I should not have given to him because today he tell me that the board is gone and it is irreparable.


Now how do I know that the man did not change the board? I have a strong feeling the way with hostiltiy he insisted that phone may go dead certainly while I was giving that he tampered with it in the name of gettign repaired, knowing fully well he was not going to repair and hand me back the handset. Somehow I do not know if the handset is at fault or the Nokia Center man but now I am very wary of the company who charges me 13 grands and the damn thing doesnt even last 2 years. I feel cheated big time so if you dont want ur 13 grand down the drain in just one and half years pl go for another set.

Service is poor and pathetic.

I had E71 working fine, but after some it developed problem. I toook it to the service center and got the problem rectiified, but after some time the camera part is becomming hot and the entire battery is getting drained with in 2 hours of full recharge, They do not repair it properly and take lot of time to give it back in the same conditon, Poor and pathetic after sale service for such good product. I love nokia but the after sale service stinks, It is just money making without proper service, I pitty for the nokia brand they had given the after sales service to such guys who are spoiling the name of the brand their service do not come even near to any standard. Buy but do not take for after sales service section.

I am a very strong recommend of Nokia Products and from last 10 years I am using your products for me and my family.


2 Months back bought your Bluetooth NOkia Bh105 on 14/4/2011 for my Nokia E71 from Delhi and it was continously giving problem like switching off automatically and so on and 4 days back I lost the washer which needs to be placed in the ear and I visited more than 10 service centers as well as nokia Priority dealers but everywhere the same story comes that the washer is not available and you have to buy a new Device.


For that washer buying a new Device is a actually not understandable.


Can you pl check and arrange for the same as this unfair to the overall business.


Hoping for the action asap and confirm the resolution.

Firstly Great Job Nokia.!


I have used both Nokia and Sony Ericson, but this is by far the best I have used.


All my software works on it perfectly. and the best navigator that I have found for the price it is a bargain( for those who cannot afford a GARMIN, Spot on) works perfect with Google Maps, and Nokia GPS is absolutely superb! it converge quickly even when the AGPS is not available.


Excellent Features: Super QWERTY keyboard, Connectivity, GPS, SKYPE works really well.


It has all what I need in a phone.!

This is a review comprising the events that happened when I reported a Aesthetic quality issue after purchasing Nokia E 71 from themobile store.


There is still no action on the complaint.


Care by Nokia(in brief)


1) Purchased phone from The Mobile store, noticed problem in a day.


2) Told Mobile store staff( Name of Executive:- Shweta) about problem, she told to contact Nokia


3) Nokia contacted on email, reply received “pl go to Nokia Care”


4) Went to Nokia Care, tolerated misbehaviour of girls sitting there & got to listen you should not have purchased the phone.


5) Complained to Nokia through email regarding the incident at Nokia Care centre.


6) Got reply from Nokia “we are sorry, pl tell us complete address of the said Nokia Care Centre


7) Replied back with full address


8) Got reply, Sorry for the problem. Kindly go to some other Nokia Care centre for resolution.


Though the phone has no functional quality issue yet I do remember the incident whenever the issue/problem catches my attention. I now plan to write to Global CEO of Nokia & mobile store for their information only.

Value for Money

I have been using Nokia E71 for almost 2.5 years now. I think this is considerably long time to use any high end business phone. I had bought this phone thru indiatimes.com at the time when it was first launched in India. I am very happy and satisfied user of this phone.


Steel finishing, qwerty keypad, big screen and app shortcuts are the USPs of this phone. However there are features which needs improvement like music output quality, camera (3.2 megapixels), hang and auto-restart due to unknown reasons. I am sure that many of this things are taken care of in E72 but I have learnt from my friends who use E72 that phone is still getting hanged pretty often.


Other than this, this is highly reliable and super phone. I highly recommend this phone to anybody planning to buy Nokia E series phones.

Happy with Nokia E71

Yesterday I heard the news, that Nokia has finally decided to abandon Symbian platform and will go for Win7 from MS. Before its too late, I decided to write review for my E71.


I bought this phone 2 years ago and it cost me 19K. Its sleek metallic look, qwerty keypad, 3mp camera, office app's, push email support were the reasons o choose this phone.


When I bought this phone, there were hardly any other phone with these features.


Nokia phones are sturdy, and I have dropped it a lot many time but so far everything is working fine.


Sometimes, it hangs and I am not happy with its speed which is primarily because of Symbian being a heavy OS(its good that Nokia decided to drop it).


Overall I am a happy Nokia customer.

I bought this phone 1 year ago from now. this phone is no doubt very much durable. sleek and metalic body design. it has 3g, push mail service like all those stuff which fullfill your desire of using business phone. BUT... the internet connectivity in this phone is not so much good. I was using airtel in kolkata but after that changed my sim and took vodafone.


The vodafone network connection in kolkata is very very good. I am highly satisfied. thanks vodafone. but nokia e71 as a multimedia device not up to the mark. as a multimedia device its worst . Screen resolution , video, sound, games all are simply mess. as a business phone this device is more than avrg but as a multimedia device its poor. you can buy this phone but I must say one thing NOKIA ERA HAS GONE.

Don't think about Nokia E-71

It becomes hang and even Nokia care center can not solve this problem. you come to every month at there Nokia care center to update it's software . There service center are very rude and rough with customers. I think Samsung have better choice for Indian users. You can not download any thing in this phone from outside beside Nokia sides or protected sides. Market review about this phone is not good by actual users.


There after sale service is very poor and you feel helpless after purchase this product. Nokia care center only repair your new set not replace.

My PC in my pocket

Hi to all members. After a long time I add something to MouthShut. This is something I was looking out to share with everyone from a long time.


I have been using this handset named Nokia E71. Recently bought this phone for a price of Rs.13000/- only. Awesome is not the word and the experience of using this phone is just phenomenal. All features which a person would like in his office PC are present in this phone. Ease to use and extremely user friendly. Camera quality is also very much satisfactory so after clicking snaps you can keep the best and delete the rest. Extremely good battery life with great sound quality. This handset is light in weight which makes it quite comfortable to carry this handset wherever you want.


If you have internet access to your phone, then you will definitely love to access your mail account along with applications like Facebook and You Tube.


However the picture quality is a bit behind, on screen the picture looks nice, but once transfer to PC the quality is great. I admit that being a die hard Nokia fan. I just loved to get my hands on the device . Its such an awesome phone.


If you are thinking of purchasing a smart phone then the first preference should be definitely given to Nokia E71. You get all the best required features in one phone and thats the great Nokia E71. So go for it. because at the end of the day you will definitely be satisfied.thats for sure!

Another winner from the Nokia family!

Nokia as a mobile brand has always been respected by me. My usage and dependence on this brand of technology has been intact for many years now. I started using my first mobile phone when I turned 19 years old and my parents wanted to keep track of my whereabouts. While it was a matter of concern for them, it was nothing short of sheer excitement for me. I had started off by owning a Nokia 3310 - one of the most popular Nokia models of yesteryears.


Because of my trust and faith in Nokia, I have never used any other phone, except for a short while about 5 years ago. It was unexpectedly a very bad experience as everything from its battery backup, messaging service etc left a lot to be desired for (I don't want to name the model). I decided thereafter that I would never move beyond Nokia.


My present Nokia device is Nokia E71, that had launched 2 years ago but I purchased it from the nearest Nokia store only about 5 months back. One of the important reasons why I went for this model is because the rates for the phone had gone substantially down to Rs. 13,500 after its initial pricing of Rs. 18,000 - Rs.20,000.


Basic and add on features - The model resembles that of a Blackberry with a PC-type keyboard. It comes in two colors - Silver-white and dark grey. The first impression one gets from looking at it is that of it being a business phone. Although it does contain certain aspects that makes it an ideal purchase for executives looking forward to use it for official purposes, it doesn't compromise on the entertainment factor.


There are some useful basic features in the phone that can assist you in your daily activities like call timer, speed dials, conference calling, call hold, call divert and call waiting options. In addition to these, there are applications like Calendar and Calculator that help you in dealing with mathematical calculations and keeping track of important dates.


The Bluetooth and GPRS facilities are also enabled to exchange music files, pictures and video with other people and for connecting to the Internet.


Talking about its add on features, there is a computerized voice that can be enabled to read your inbox messages verbally. Though it isn't a very useful application, it serves a good entertainment purpose.


You can also find a 'Dictionary' facility in the 'Office' option when you access the Main menu. It is for those who are curious about finding the meanings of difficult words. Although it doesn't contain every single word that can be found in an Oxford or Thesaurus, it is a helpful application. Then there's the 'Converter' with the help of which you can enter a number and measure and convert it in terms of different conversion types like time, power,pressure, temperature, velocity and volume.


You can also select a background theme of your choice that according to you, goes well with the colour of the phone. There are about eight default themes in my Nokia E71, and all of them give different and unique looks to the dark greyish colour of the model.


Talking further about its relevance in a corporate environment, it has a push e-mail service through which one can keep track of all the important updates even while sitting at home. It can be integrated with your official account by following the procedure of defining a mailbox.


Other features - Here, 'other features' necessarily includes those which influence the youngsters a great deal. The media featuresare one of the aspects which are looked forward to most. And the phone doesn't disappoint on that front. With a 3.2 Mega-Pixel camera, the pictures taken are usually of good quality and the settings can be arranged according to scene modes, self timers, and color tones. However I have a tendency to compare this phone with my previous one - the excellent Nokia N73 whose camera facility has to be one of the best ever. It had a 3.2 MP camera as well; but the quality of pictures taken was superior to the one I am using currently. However, keeping the comparision factor aside, its camera and video quality is undoubtedly praiseworthy.


It also has an in-built Music player and the option of listening to the Radio for which you need to plug in the handsfree device that came with the phone. The quality of music player is really good and the sounds are easily adjustable through the Equaliser and Audio Settings options.


Additionally, it comes with a Voice Recorder facility where you can record your own voice or a conversation between two people. This is something really interesting and I often use it as a silly prank.


Its battery backup, as with most Nokia phones, is good enough and can easily last for more than 2 days if left in standby mode.


If there's an aspect where I would mark it down, it would be the weight or size of the phone. For people who would like their devices to be light enough, they may be disappointed as they may face trouble in carrying it around, thanks to its bulky exterior.


However, with several impressive features, it won't be wrong to call it a value for money device. Nokia, as usual, doesn't let us down!

I love my 2 yrs old e-71

I've been using Nokia e71 for the last 2 years. I had earlier used nokia 6630 which was a very good satisfaction.


Everything about e-71 is special. Apart from the camera. Expect less from its 3.2 mp camera and more from its connectivity.


Why do they want me to write a long review.
