Low battery, bad camera
Aug 05, 2021 01:25 PM 422 Views

This could have been a good device if some of its features were better and even if you look at the good features, the other bad features really get to your nerves. First of all, the battery power of this smartphone is already so less. And over that, the Snapdragon chipset in the smartphone heats so terrible that battery gets drained more. So I would not suggest you to go for this smartphone because there are much better options than this at the low cost.

35k??... unbelievable!!

How can such a bad product have such a price? I ordered this mobile during a Christmas sale using my savings and now I regret to the bottom of my heart. Worst phone I've ever used. First of all talk about looks, it has a decent look and and this is what trapped me me to buy this. Just after some days of using it it begin to show battery problems as well as haging problems. I was shocked that how can a new phone can have these problems only after few days. And that's not it, after more few days it began to show even heating problems also. This made me mad and then I return this phone images immediately. All I would say that there are number of better smartphones available in the market in such a good price range go for them and don't think of buying it

Monster in The Budget
Oct 30, 2020 01:55 PM 670 Views

Well when I first saw this phone Earlier this year back in February I was impressed by the fact that it was the device packing Flagship features at a very reasonable price but at that time it wasn't that good as if it is Now.

#1 Performance

Well there Is nothing much to complain on Performance end as the Device has monstrous Snapdragon 865 processor with lightning fast ufs 3.1 storage and cherry on the Cake is LPDDR5 based RAM which itself tells the story it is still among top performance phones of 2020 considering the fact it was launched very earlier this year.

#2 Build And Design

The IQOO 3 has a great aggressive premium design with front and back Gorilla glass 6 protection which if fit in a metal frame.

The design is gamer centered as it comes with 2 extra capacitive triggers for games.

#3 Display

on the Display end the flagship grade is lowered a bit as we get a 6.44 inch Amoled Display which comes with a fast in display fingerprint sensor and a touch sampling of 180hz which makes it more responsive.

#4 Camera

iqoo 3 comes with a 48+13+13+2 quad rear camera setup with a 32 mp front camera the camera system is quite good and does a fair job but not as expected from such camera hardware.

#5 UI and OS

as iqoo is a new brand so its ui is still kind of raw but still very stable and feature packed many features of iqoo ui are look like a direct cxopy of it's parent ui(vivo color ui) but still manages to be fair good experience.

CONCLUSION

Being fair Iqoo 3 is still a great choice for performance centric user who can overlook all the aspect of this phone. Although the phone is not as good as it's comptetions in this segments for camera and Ui but still at this price there is no match for the performance provided by iqoo3.

Most affordable flagship phone
Sep 30, 2020 10:42 PM 628 Views (via Mobile)

So i bought it for snapdragon 865 Soc and it is worth the money. Iqoo is sub brand of vivo but it comes with different types of UI than vivo phones, It's a heavy loaded user interface with lots of features and customizable options. Main thing i love about it the lighting fast processing coupled with 8gigs of ram by which i never felt like my phone is lagging or freezing. In the race of increasing refresh rate of displays iqoo launched iqoo 3 with 60Hz display which is awesome. And my opinion is you can not differentiate higher refresh rate display and lower rate display with bare eyes, it comes with whooping 65 watt charger which boost your battery within half hour more or less. Battery backup is awesome even though it is 4440mah only. The pressure sensitive buttons makes it one of the most affordable gaming phone out there and my experience with them is very good.

Update after 3 years : Still running as new, no lagging no other issue. Surprisingly the inbox plastic cover is also fine except for yellowish color change. Battery is draining slightly faster but can't complain as it's drawback of fast charging. Kudos to iqoo for awesome quality for 1st model.

The price isn't justified
Sep 25, 2020 07:14 PM 727 Views

The base variant of the iQOO 3 is priced at 36, 990. When I look at the specifications, there’s nothing that appeals to me as a conscious smartphone buyer. It has a decent 6.44-inch display and is a bit heavy at 214g. It also packs in a 4, 440mAh battery which is again decent and not brilliant with the support for 55W FlashCharge.

It functions on iQoo UI on top of Android 10 and features a quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel telephoto camera, 13-megapixel wide-angle-camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

All of these features remind me of the recently launched budget smartphones by Redmi & realme which have the same specifications. It is only the presence of Snapdragon 865 which is driving this phone to become unnecessarily expensive and still not good enough!

The only attractive feature is the presence of touch-sensitive shoulder buttons which can be useful when gaming on the smartphone. However, this does not justify the high price of the phone.

Not enough for the price
Sep 25, 2020 05:15 PM 763 Views

Budget phones under 10k are doing so well at the moment and most of them come loaded with top tier specifications and excellent in built features. So phones like iQ00 3 that almost cost a small fortune are in a lot of ways pretty redundant. The iQOO 3 does not come with anything of special note. There are some pretty average features on the phone and the performance is also stunted. The iQOO 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor which is okay but not that great. While for regular usage it is more or less alright but the issues start if you play heavy games or load videos to watch. Gaming performance is not great in the iQOO 3 and there is significant lagging and heating issues throughout which is very disappointing. Also, the 4440mAh battery is not sufficient at all and drains the battery too quickly so that you will have to constantly charge the phone and this becomes especially a hassle while travelling. For 35k all that you get is just simply not enough.

Too pricey, no worthy features
Sep 15, 2020 12:30 PM 733 Views

Vivo’s iQOO 3 smartphone comes with some good features but more bad ones. The phone is priced around 35k which I think is a bit too steep. For the price, the iQOO 3 offers strictly basic features and not anything of much note with a 6.44-inch touchscreen display. Even the battery of the phone is underwhelming at just 4, 440mAh. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and is available in three variants out of which only the top version supports 5G networks. The phone has a lot of preinstalled bloatware and that just makes the performance a bit slowed down. Even the camera performance is very average with a 48- megapixel primary sensor which is a part of the rear quad camera setup. They don’t do well in low light and the pictures come out grainy and full of noise. The phone weighs 214g which makes it significantly bulky. It is actually a hassle to use it with just one hand. Overall, the phone is okay-ish but not worth the price of it.

Total disappointment and waste of money
Aug 29, 2020 07:29 PM 714 Views

There is not much to be said about this smartphone. A sheer disappointment. If you want to spend 35k on a smartphone you can buy two smartphones of 15k each.

The iQOO 3 has no factor according to its price. It has a small screen as compared to other smartphones in this budget. Also, its quad-camera is of no use and gives really blurry and low quality pictures.

The performance of this phone is also average with a weak battery of 4, 440mAh. I would not recommend this to anyone as buying this is just burning your hard-earned money.

Overpriced smartphone with little to offer!
Jul 28, 2020 03:19 PM 731 Views

This particular smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs.36, 999 which is way too high compared to so many other smartphones that are available currently with equal or even better features. Having been integrated with the Snapdragon 865 processor, the price of the phone is not shocking, to be honest.

The phone comes with a full glass body which makes the device slippery, and not ideal for a gaming phone. If you are looking for a gaming smartphone in particular, I would recommend you the Narzo series smartphone or even the new smartphones by Realme with gaming chipsets instead of this one. There is a constant issue of latency with this smartphone, which gets on your nerves after a point. And owing to that there is a fast battery drain therefore one would have to keep the charger handy at all times.

Having paid such a hefty amount, one would also expect excellent camera features and picture quality, however personally I would have preferred if the camera specs were little better than what is being offered.

Is this new brand worth 36k?
Jul 16, 2020 06:18 PM 796 Views

IQoo is the latest smartphone brand in the Indian market that has launched iQoo 3 recently and it features some serious hardware. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, the most powerful processor currently available for Android phones. In addition to that, the top-end model of the iQoo 3 also sports 5G connectivity. With a starting price of Rs. 36, 990, iQoo 3 seems to offer good value on paper. But we need to look at some facts before deciding if we should put money on this new phone or not.

Starting with the display, the Iqoo 3 lacks a high-refresh-rate display. Also, the cameras are tough to handle and click average pictures. A smartphone worth Rs 36, 000 will have high expectations from its features, at least camera functions. The pictures shot on this phone blurs on zooming and are blown up on a large screen though and they simply fall apart. At a glance, the images are good enough to look at, but the aggressive processing completely obliterates low-level detail.

So, in my opinion, this brand new smartphone, iQoo 3 is not a good deal to spend 36k at a go when multiple alternatives are present in a lower price than this.

Could have been better
Jul 16, 2020 06:06 PM 744 Views

IQOO is a sub-brand of the well known smartphone brand Vivo. It has released a few devices and one such is the iQOO 3. Although Vivo products are usually pretty reliable and decent, the iQOO 3 released in February 2020 is not impressive at all. It is priced at 36, 000 rs but the features are pretty average. It comes with 5 variants - 6 GB RAM - 128 GB, 8 GB - 128 GB, 12GB - 128 GB, 8 GB - 256 GB and 12 GB - 256 GB and I have to say these are pretty decent RAM to support the functions of the smartphone.

Besides this, the iQOO 3 has a 6.44-inch display with a resolution of 1080 2400 pixels. It is run by a Snapdragon 865 processor and has 5 variants. It also has a quad rear camera with the specs of 48 MP+ 13 MP+ 13MP+ 2MP and a 16 MP front camera. The battery capacity is 4440 mAh and it is run by Android 10 operating system.

Although the integrated processor supports 5G, users will need a modem to use it which is inconvenient. I would recommend other 5G powered devices at a similar range with better features.

Overpriced and under featured.
Jul 16, 2020 03:39 PM 740 Views

This particular smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs.36, 999 which is way too high compared to so many other smartphones that are available currently with equal or even better features. But the price is expected since it is powered by an equally expensive Snapdragon 865 processor.

The phone comes with a full glass body which I kind of found it odd since all-glass construction makes the device slippery, which isn’t ideal for a gaming phone. The phone has been advertised as the phone of the future, and that is not quite lived up to by the performance of the phone. Instead of the iQOO3, if you are looking for a gaming smartphone in particular, I would recommend you the Narzo series smartphone instead of this one.

There is a constant issue of latency with this smartphone, which gets on your nerves after a point. And owing to that there is a fast battery drain therefore one would have to keep the charger handy at all times.

This one is a lesson
Jul 03, 2020 06:47 PM 800 Views

No, not a lesson to me but to one of my friends, who loves playing PUBG and she is mad about the latest smartphones. And as soon she heard about this IQOO 3 which is a 5G smartphone, she bought it solely for playing PUBG. Tell you what, she hardly cars about the camera and all. And to her surprise, IQOO 3 did not turn out to be the smartphone that she wanted for the PUBG uses. In fact, the connectivity issues are so terrible that she can hardly use her mobile data. But this is not the worst. In fact, when connected to Wi-Fi, she expected good performance. However, all she got was battery draining and this smartphone is a huge heater which drains the battery very quickly. She spent close to 50k on this smartphone and all she obtained was a disappointment and I could say that Snapdragon 865 processor is not something that you should choose for gaming.

So this smartphone is a lesson for her to have a good look at the specs and the reviews of the new smartphones before leaping on to them. Sometimes, good price does not mean good performance and IQOO 3 has proved this.

Not worth 36k
Jul 03, 2020 06:18 PM 780 Views

IQOO 3 has a 6.44-inch display with a resolution of 1080 2400 pixels. It is run by a Snapdragon 865 processor and has 5 variants. It also has a quad rear camera with the specs of 48 MP+ 13 MP+ 13MP+ 2MP and a 16 MP front camera. The battery capacity is 4440 mAh and it is run by Android 10 operating system.

iQOO3 was released on 25th February 2020. It has 5 variants - 6 GB RAM - 128 GB, 8 GB - 128 GB, 12GB - 128 GB, 8 GB - 256 GB and 12 GB - 256 GB. It is priced around 36, 000rs, which according to me is a ridiculous amount for the features that it provides. The camera performance is extremely basic and the low-light performance is pretty average as well.

I would not recommend this smartphone at this price point, does not seem like it will be worth it. The only good thing about this phone is its RAM variants and the decent battery.

IQOO3 couldn't live up to the expectations
Jul 03, 2020 03:09 PM 773 Views

IQOO3 comes with a price tag of Rs.36, 999 which is way too high compared to so many other smartphones that are available currently with equal or even better features than this. But the price is expected since it is powered by an equally expensive Snapdragon 865 processor. Those of you who are unaware of this fact, Snapdragon processors are notoriously expensive compared to its other competitors in the market.

The phone comes with a full glass body which I kind of found it odd since all-glass construction makes the device slippery, which isn’t ideal for a gaming phone. There is also constant lagging and it suffers from a notorious amount of over-heating. And as a result, battery drain. The user would have to be handy with the charger at all times.

If you are looking for a gaming smartphone in particular I would recommend you the Narzo series smartphone that are equipped with much faster and reliable gaming processors by MediaTek.

Burns a hole in your pocket for nothing.
Jun 10, 2020 04:10 PM 1461 Views

The iQOO3 comes with a sky touching price tag of Rs.36, 999. If you buy this phone, you will have to be absolutely share because nobody likes to spend such an amount on something without being sure to later regret it. Of course, if you have money lying around and you have to spend somewhere, that’s a different scenario altogether. Anyways, coming back to iQOO3. I happen to be one of those people with friends who bought this phone and now they are regretting it. Did you think I own this? I don’t have that kind of money. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset and it is disappointing. The phone suffers through constant lags and the problem of overheating still persists. The phone overheats a lot leading to a very quick battery drain. You’d have to keep your charger handy at all times. Who wants to experience that after spending close to 40k on a phone?

Honestly there are better options for a cheaper price that would offer far better features and performance.
