I purchased my lenovo sl500 in 2009 till now its woring without any issues.my usage is very high almost 24hrs a day.Only thing I didnt like is the battery which was initially giving me 3 hrs backup now after a year it reduced to 30 mins.

That may be I used to put it in power plug so over charging would have caused the issue in battery life.

I suggest every one to go for this laptop.its heavy not stylish but reliable.
