Multi national talk, Desi action: I bought an HP 5118, it in May 2006, and its speaker grills were rusting in a year. the fan assembly needed changing, when they changed it they put scratches all over. and they just dont respond to customer calls, mails, threats, etc. You need good customer service, they dont know what it means. I have even sent an angry mail to HP india’s president. And am now planning to get media support to expose their inadequacies. This is more of a rant, but shows how upset, and fed up I am with this product.I wish there was a way to let HP worldwide know How bad their India office is. Phones dont go through, if they do, they don’t they say they’ll call back, but don’t. This tirade can go on and on. I mean, whats the point of getting world class products to India when they have Desi attitudes towards the customer.

This laptop comes with the value around 50, 000 and doesn't work properly even for two years. The biggest issue with the laptop is a heating issue. Battery life isn't sensible and after few months, it even gets worse.it comes with windows vista that is additionally poor factor as a result of vista isn't a smart window. Hp quick play is on the market which is ok.


It comes in black and silver combination with flower like the style on the back. It’s okay to use. Fingerprint device is there, however, doesn't work properly. Digital camera is available that is ok in quality. The fan assembly required changing; when they modified it they place scratches everywhere. And they simply don’t answer client calls, emails, threats, etc. you wish good customer service, they don’t know what it means. This is the very worst laptop I have ever used, please don't waste cash on that.

It comes with windows vista, which is also poor thing because vista is not good window.hp quickplay is available which is ok.it is ok to use. Fingerprint sensor is there but does not work properly.quality is also very ok. Webcam is available which is ok in quality.


However service and support is nice from hp but when product it self is bad then what can support team do.this is really worst laptop I have ever used, please do not waste money on it.
