I am priyanka, today I am here to give the detail review on of my WD External Hard Disk Dive.

I have been using this externel hard drive from five months. Its totally waste of time and money also.

This hard disk drive is very much slow in pickup while plugging into my PC. It takes too much time to read the file.

While transferring data from hard drive to computer it takes very much time to copy data.

Its design is not so good. I don't like its style and design. It is bit heavy in weight.

Its price is too much high as compared to others.

I do not recommend you to buy this product

This product is totally waste of money as per my experience. I bought this 1 TB hard disk because my PC storage Wars full and I need more space to store my data

But my decision to buy this product is not worth. I stored all my personal files. And I got enough space to store data in my system.

I put that hard drive into the box again, I thought I will take it out when it would be required.

So one day required to harddisk

So all those pictures were transferred to that her disc, I took out the box and connected it with computer but I was shocked to see that all that all the Stored data was corrupted and I was able to open anything.

Even it was not working properly, I doesn't have backup for my data

AtoZ my data is corrupted

And I am so sad because my pictures and all data in hard disk.

Hi Freinds I bought this harddisk from flipkart and I it for around 4000. I had bpught it 3 months ago I am fully not satisfied with the performance of harddisk. This harddisk is very durable but gives slow speed for transfering the file .According To their Price this harddisk gives very slowspeed like in 3.0 port it give only 60 to 70 mb/second speed and in 2.0 port it gives 20 mb/second speed it is quite slow . Its good thing is that it supports 3.0 port and wire came in the box is quite durable. So that my reveiw about WD Harddisk I hope you take right decision according to their need.

I have used this WD My Passport 1 TB Wired external hard disk for 6 months and I had a very pathetic experience with it.

Its biggest problem is that it is very bulky in size.It is very hard to carry it.

Secondly it gets too much heated in a very short interval of time.so it is not at all relaible if you have a long work to do.

The performance is average but overall this is not a value for money product.

Therefore, I prefer you to buy this WD My passport 1Tb Wired external Hard disk.

WD My Passport 1 TB Wired External Hard Drive is one the best budget hard drives out there in the market. It is worth spending every rupee. It provides 3.0 USB type A connectivity and speed upto 150 MBPS. We also get WD softwares for backing up data from pc and encrypting your data. The hard drive built quality is good and has got good design which makes it good looking . The size is small and is very light which makes it portable . The cable quality is also very good. I have been using it for few months and it has worked pretty well

Nowadays we all need enough space to store our personal data in a secured place. So I did bought an external hard disc last year from western digital. At first couple of moths. thew hard disc performed well. One day suddenly it got corrupted. Since it was between the 3 years warranty period, was able to fix it then but I lost all my earlier saved data. Even WD hdd gets usually corrupted if you tried to install windows 8. The file transfer speed is also poor with old 2.0 port.

I buy this Hard disk from the Amazon.in on 14 April 2016 and by paying the amount of the 7999 rupees.

I want to share some problem that faced by me: -

a) The first thing I want to tell us about the price of the hard disk is very high if I compare it with the Sony Harddisk.

b) The performance of the hard disk is also very bad because the speed from transferring from the computer to the hard disk is 20 MBPS and from the hard disk to the computer is 35 MBPS.

c) The Style and Design were not attractive at all and the no new features were available on this hard disk.

d)The Services Of the WD was also not good because when a call over there the staff member did not give proper answer to my question.

So, Rather than this you should go for the Sony Hard disk they were efficient and the price is also affordable.

I bought this external drive few months ago from a near by store. It had 2 year warranty but it is totally useless. Trust me. The service provided by the company is not good. I lost all of my data because of this low quality drive.the transfer process was always slow in it. And one fine day it just stopped working. And I lost my data. It has a bulky design. And doesnt even look too good. But still I bought this thinking it would be good but it was worthless spending money on it.

I purchase this Hard disk because it was popular much then I bought this this is vry useful product fi store my photos of adventure , videos of jouney and where we going the shoot with A dslr so the images and videos are having more gibabyte so I usethis harddisk and copy all the photos to harddisk to them for life time

Hii friends, I would like to share my personal experience with the WD My Passport 1TB hard disk.

I wanted to buy an hard disk for my personal computer to store a heavy and personal data in it. But I couldn't decide which hard disk I bought. So I asked from one of my friends. He suggested me to buy WD My Passport Hard disk.

So on his suggestion I bought this hard disk from an E-commerce website.

But when I used it about one month I found the truth related to this hard disk.

When I bought it I stored a large number of personal abd professional data in it because it has a huge quantity.

After inserted in computer the performance of computer got decreases. The computer got very slow and hanged after a while. It puts a lot of pressure on the system.

One day my computer shut down and when I restart it it shows a message that the HARD DISK ERROR . My whole personal data lost. I lost my whole data by this hard disk. Very bad service.

I suggest you friends not to buy this product.

Hello everyone, I have recently borrowed this from my elder brother to backup my data until I fix my PC. I was quite impressed after using the product myself as the hard disk was great on use. Also I have decided to buy for myself a same for which I researched and from my own perspective im mentioning fews pros and cons about the product in a hope to clarify you all.

4. Priced about Rs.3790 for 1TB and Rs.5798 for 2TB currently in amazon india ( cheapest currently in online store) .

   
   

Cons in the product:

1. Transfer data is about 800kbps while sending a huge data say more than 500GB.

   
   




2. White color finish catches dust easily so I would prefer to go with other primary color.

   
   




3. Doesnt contain a pouch in the box which we need to buy seprately.

Good product.! Easy to use.! I bought it from amazon in oct 2017 for approximately 3500 inr. It comes with WD backup and WD security software which helps to protect your confidential data.Transfer speed is very good above 100 mbps but it has 971 gb actual storage capasity which is 29 gb lesser than 1tb.so I given it 4 star otherwise 5 star.

I'm using this hard disk for one year. I had stored a lot of games, movies, music etc. I bought this item from Flipkart with some credit card offer for 3500. But the actual price of the hard disk was high. So even if the performance of the drive was not so good.I'm happy because I got it for less price. We can use it for tv also. I watch movies directly on Tv by connecting it.But the transfer speed was not so impressive.While copying any large file to the hard disk I was very disappointed with the performance. But for small sized files, it is fine. The transfer speed is fine for small files. Reading speed of the drive is good where are writing speed is slow. Overall it is value for money product.

I brought it from a local shop because I heard a lot about this company product.It is amazing product.It is so durable and it last long.It create less sound.It does not heat up. It's look is so good.For me I buy since 2015 and it still working. It is easy to install.In PC it copies file too fast upto 37mb/s.

I buy this product on the 5 June 2016 from the Flipkart.com on rupees 9000 and I got the discount of the 300 rupees on it.The other thing is hard disk is not providing that much speed while copying the date.This is less than the quality has concern.The price of the hard disk is extremly high if I compare it with the sony hard disk or the WD hard disk.The data transfer rate from the hard disk to computer is 15 Mbps on USB 2.0 and the 30 Mbps in USB 3.0.The data transfer rate from Computer to hard disk is the 12 Mbps in USB 2.0 and the 25 Mbps in USB 3.0.The style and the design of the hard disk is good.But size of this hard disk is bigger than the Sony hard disk and have more weight than the sony hard disk.So, not prefer this Samsung T3 500 GB external hard disk rather than this prefer to the Sony hard disk.

This hard drive looks very beautiful and it's perfomence is very well. WD is the trusted brand so their product also trustable. I am using this hard drive since 6 month but their are no problem arises.Sometimes you just need a little extra storage, but you don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it. That's exactly why you'd buy a portable hard drive like the Western Digital My Passport.

I have buy this product 1month ago. But I dont like because of its design is not comfortable and I have face so many problems to install or connect it with the may computer.but it performance is good and transmission speed is vary good . And it is vary light weight. And it occupies less space.so I'll not preferred this product.

Hard disk is good but speed is not good getting very low speed please dont buy this product west of time

Colour and design is good also small and light product but speed is not good as described.u can buy this product but dont expect to much this a good product but not genius as describud design is very good

Its wd product so performance of disk is great, reliable for sure only problem with the my passport external disc is its sise. it os bulky and looks are average compared to the element to the element new passport design look average. if size is ur concerned then I would suggest go for element I got in red it looks amazing
