Nowadays we all need enough space to store our personal data in a secured place. So I did bought an external hard disc last year from western digital. At first couple of moths. thew hard disc performed well. One day suddenly it got corrupted. Since it was between the 3 years warranty period, was able to fix it then but I lost all my earlier saved data. Even WD hdd gets usually corrupted if you tried to install windows 8. The file transfer speed is also poor with old 2.0 port.
