Toshiba Canvio Basic 1 TB External Hard Disk

For me I am using this for a long time and still in good condition. I recommend this to all and buy. No such error I could found

I bought this hdd for office purpose. Before that I had one WD hdd which I was using for a long time which suddenly started to give me headache as it sometimes didn't get detected. I had to plug in and out a couple of time to let the computer detect that.

So I bought this'Toshiba Canvio Basic 1TB' hdd and has been using it primarily since then. The speed is by far great than previous hdd while connected with USB 3.0 slot. The space is sufficient for me as I only have documents and photos. So 1 TB is more than enough.

If you have many HD videos or movies then buy above 1 TB otherwise this is more than fine.

I am satisfied with my purchase and totally recommend the hdd from this brand.

I recently bought a Toshiba canvio wired external hard disk. Its price is competitive and varies from time to time.

The external hdd is very portable and gives best performance. And copy of file transfer rate depends upon PC hardware or capacity. in normal basic desktop copy speed is 22-35 MB/sec( also depends on file type). And in average gaming laptop it is 35-56mb/sec.

Its build quality color and size is comfortable and portable for daily carry and usage.It has a square shape and fits in pocket.Their service will be good(not know/sure). It is very economical as it is the best cheapest Drive.

Toshiba is a great company produces great products but in this product their work is average I bought this product 2 months ago it was good initially but after that start producing some sound its speed is great still works fine and if you want to buy this product you can buy it but if you want my opinion you should I am sure there must be better product than this search another one

I have purchased Toshiba Canvio Basics 5 months ago. At first 1-2 months it worked great but after that I felt some noise also the speed of read and write is decreased. I tried to go to their support but it have terrible customer support for this section. They just denied that problem only told me that You getting the data also you are able to write the data that means your hard drive is working correctly. Not it is not working and again facing bad customer service experience. I will suggest go for 400-500 extra and get a good hard drive from segate or WD element. I thought it would be good as they are most reknowned hard disk manufacturer. But my assumption was wrong.

I purchase this product 5 month before. because it is quite cheap among all other same specs external Hard disk. on beginning 20 days it work fine without any problem after approx 25 or 26 days later I hear a click sound coming from inside the hard disk I thought it is general so I ignore it. after almost one month I notice that click sound increases and the performance of the hard disc is down it start taking a lot time for transfer a file approx 10 minutes for 1 Gb. I visit to toshiba service center and explain them they put my hard disk on replacement and they took almost one month to give me the new one. the new one is currently work fine but they waste my almost 2 months very very poor service. it has USB 3.0 but still the data transfer speed is very slow I check in samsung laptop also but it give same transfer speed. hard disk has good design but the led position is not at good place.

for me this hard disk is totally use less, I wait for one month for replacement and still I not get satisfied result from toshiba.

Hello friends toshiba canvio external hard disk is very very good its data transfer speed is very high and good it can store lost of data what I need But it has no inbuilt security system for secure the data I bought it 8 month ago and within 5 month its cover was broken and the got no reply from the manufartarer to resolue my this srious problems

I bought this Toshiba hard drive one month ago from my local store pricing something around 4500.

this hard drive is having a good look and simple design but a little bulky.

inside this product we get a hard disk, a cable for sinc data and a user manual guide.

this hard drive is also compatible with windows 10 and 8 and 7 too.

its main feature are its transfer data with high speed with usb 3.0 but I don't think so.

it has 1 tb space of all are need. and I think it is sufficient for many uses.

Toshiba is not a bad company I use its many product.

its hard drive speed is not as fast a mention

other things are good in this hard disk you can but it for sure and will have no complaint regaring this hard disk

I have orderd this Toshiba hard disc from snapdeal and its working goof and performance wise and speed 30mbps for transferring data which great.

And alo well known manufacturer so totally worth it and im satisfied with performance and working good in my laptop without any leggings.

Its worht for money.i have been using toshiba since 5 years.there is not problem or even a sign of problem.i can store veey easily nd sahre or transfer data very easily.it jst commendable product with such price in competiotion market.i just founf it the best hard disk as conpared tl other companies.

This is a not good to store a important data's and not good to use daily basis becouse this is a not perform very wel to use this external hard disk. I was used this external hard disk personally and not satisfied to use this storage divice to store my important data's and not reliable to use this Toshiba external hard disk. It is a very dispointing me to use this storage divice.

I faced a many problems to use this external hard disk this is not quickly connect to my laptop and not quick transfer of data's. It is a very slow work to connect a any divice and I don't expacted this brand product are not good for me and I not again purchased this brand of any product in future.

Oveall this is a not good to use always and not worth for money also.

I want to tell you all.My personal experince with this product.Becouse I use this product last 1 year.Toshiba hard disk over all is good but transfer speed is not pretty good man.Yeah This problem is very bad.Toshiba hard disk light weight, hard external shell, style and degine over all good. Everything is good but I jus want to tell you gyz. Main thing is transfer speed oky.But toshiba transfer speed is not good.

I don't recommend anyone to buy this product.

Its very good company as compare to other companies its performance is very good its design is also good and its speed is very high to transfer data or receving data its is not costly to much as other its service and support is also very nice and style and design also very nice from me because I have its hard disk or pendrive both of them and I hope everyone like its featues and its design.

Bought this product from TabTree. It was delivered in its retail box which has a secure packing, wrapped in a plastic air cushioned wrapper and a conventional flipkart box over it. I am not sure how effective this kind of wrapping is for a delicate item like a hard disk. Anyway the hard disk worked fine the first time i plugged in. There was supposed to be some setup program in the hard disk according to the manual but I didn't find any.

Today I would sharing my personal experience with you about Tohsiba 1TB HDD.Last year I bought Tohsiba HDD in 6000/- rupey from snapdeal website with 2 years warrenty.This is not good Hard Disk compare than Segate Hard Disk.My brother use Segate 1 TB and I am using Tohsiba 1 TB and I saw diffrence between both Hard disk.Read/Write speed is slow of Tohsiba hard disk compare than segate.Its features not good but its style and design looking very nice.Performance is not good compare than other hard disk.Once my hard disk worsened automatically I don't know how.? and after I sent Hard disk at service center for replace or repairing but its service very late and I got my other new hard disk after 1 month.Its very expensive.

I would like to share my personal experience about Toshiba Canvio Basic 1 TB external hard disk. This company is very famous and many people like this company hard drive for important data. I used this hard disk approx 2 months but it performance is not good because its data transfer speed is very slow and some time data transfer is stop in the middle.

This external hard disk feature is average and its indicator is good work but some time this hard drive is not support in the computer.

This hard disk style and design is not bad and its service is not good because company is give few months warranty of the hard drive.

I bought this hard disk on online shopping website with 10% discount and delivery at a right time but its USB wire length is small.
