Seagate Expansion Portable 3.0 1 TB

I have been using this external hard-disk from last 6 months which I bought it for 4200₹ with external case to protect it.it comes with 3.0 fast transfer which helps me to transfer data with a very high speed.The lighting indicator on connecting it with the pc or Laptop makes this external hard disk look quiet premium.it also comes with external protection case which is of very good quality.so I would say the best external hard-disk in this budget segment

I had stored 90% of its capacity but still now its doesnt showing any lag slowdown or any other issues

Data is also secured still now no data errors or crash or bad sector has not reported

A great external HD. My old Seagate desktop HD that I bought in 2008 is still going strong but got filled up, so I thought I'd stick with the brand. Now, they have some old stocks with the old logo and a slight bulkier design which is a tad cheap ( the GoFlex ones) , and this is after the rebranding so you know you're getting the latest.

The chassis is very neatly designed, and feels very premium. It's also pretty lightweight and very much compact. Owing to the impressive portability, it has a permanent spot in my backpack. Running makes zero noises ( unlike big clicking noises in my old one) and the provided cable is very durable/perfectly sized. The thin blue LED does the job in a far more elegant way than the ugly white ones found in the previous generation ones.

There were a bunch of softwares/instruction and warranty PDFs which I deleted, but knowing they are being supplied with is a plus. Now, I didn't run any benchmarks but I copied a 1.03GB file from this HDD to my Mac ( SSD, USB 3.0) and it took 6.53 seconds. Writing the same file back to the HDD took 11.21 seconds which is not exactly blazing fast. Well this is a budget hard drive. If you're looking for speed, you'll want to settle for 7200RPM ones like Hitachi TOUROs.

In short, go for it. It's a plain vanilla HDD that is very portable and will last quite a long. P.S. look for offers/discounts before purchase. I'm not mentioning it but I got it in a very attractive price.

This is a not good to store a important data's and I not satisfied to use external hard drive becouse this is not provide a batter output to me to store a any particular files as well as read a files also. This external hard drive I was purchased through online and first time to use this hard drive performance are good but after few days this is not good to work properly.

I faced a many problems to use this external hard drive and when I store a particular files as well as any of contain on this divice this is a not properly to store and not working faster to connect a any computers as well as any laptops also. It is a not good exrience for me and I not again use this brand of any product in future.

Overall this is not good exprience for me to use this external hatd drive and not worth for me and not value for money also.

Seagate Expansion Portable is good looking portable Hard disk I m purchased this from Snapdeal 2 month ago after using 1 month it is cruppt when I complained to Snapdeal they told me exchange period is over it is worthless product in my opinion and it's not performing well this is a worst product don't go for this .

I'm not at all happy buying this product. It worked okay for the first few days but after that, it got worst. When I first bought this product, it was transfering files at an average speed but after a few days the speed got very low ( about 700kb/ps) . I even tried changing the U.S.B of this hard disc, but the problem continued. All the data I had transferred to it was lost. There wasn't even an virus in it or any thing like that. Even formating it did not help much. After formating the hard disc, it worked okay for a few days and then again I started to faced the same problem. It was a total waste of my money and all of my important data was lost.

It is very good in performance.it transfer huge amount of data in a minute because its transfer speed is excellent

It have 1tb memory in it, it means 1tb= 1000gb

It comes in very stylish format.it is in small size which you can take in any palce

It also give customer support 24* 7.if you have any queries you can call customer care they will resolve your problems

It is a value for money in this price range from my side

Hlww guys. You know that segate is one of the best company which make External Harddisk. I think it works much more better than my expectations.

• with comoact size i.e u can easily carry in your pocket.

• also its width is too thin

_ segate gives you backup+ option also. it helps you to recover your important data if accidentally the HDD is formatted by someone like chlid.

I give that 4.5 stars out of 5.

if you are going to purchase this after it works you never felt that your money is going in bullshit or you purchased a bad product.

This is really a good hard disc. Storage capacity is 998 GB approx. Tranfering between 2-3 devices is such good. I tranfer my friend weddings video of 19-20 GB it takes only 1-1.5 min to tranfer video into it. Most important is quality and is it great and having Metallic look.

Service is also good if you have any problem it solves hand to hand.??that is good thing.

It is good hard drive with cheap price .it should be able to habdle and protect with not extremely due care and easy to carry and handle.it speed was good not excellent but not bad also.it built quality are also good as there.i would like to suggest to the buyer which are thinking to buying that.its good with good data transfering speed but his cable wire was not long as much the users required and cable wire quality was good.overall its good and buyers can go for that with the cheap price.

Quick data transfer from other computers and laptops. No heating problem after a long time connection. this is the good range hard drive for these price value. good design with the slim body and the connectors are so good to connect in other device. Quick connect to other. You don't need to go to any Service center for any problem, because it has no problem issue yet. No more expensive. So you can easily buy this product from your nearest market. Believe me, it is relay very good product in this price rang.
