I am sharing my one of the good experience with the perspective of this camcorder. This is the second camcorder which I had purchased the picture quality of the camcorder the sony camcorder ccd-trv238e is really good, and other features like it's battery life is also of long time.

As per mentioned ease of use is also one of the good feature of it.I had purchased 1st cam corder from one on line shopping website I not suppose to name it now because with that website my experience is not that much good  but In the case of the second camcorder I encountered one website through the google and that is the eastwestusastore.com first.

I some how not sure to purchase the product from there but I got good some suggestion from my friends and from review about this website so I visit the eastwestusastore.com on line shopping website and see it look wise this website is good but do you know about it's services.................................? Just have a guess............................. you can't believe that within a one or two click you will be at your product as well as the only two click purchase is there mean you can purchase your product within two click and the ya about it's services..........................very good the services of the website is really good.

Today I had a most exciting experience.I used my TRV238E camcorder for the first time.I shot movies of my family and more interestingly myself.All this was made possible by mouthshut where I had read about the product some fifteen days back.I found the product rather interesting.First its like being your own Yash Chopra/Subhash Ghai depending on your choice of genre.It kind of enables you to put your own thinking,your own ideas on film.Such is the great beauty of the product.The camcorder uses a Hi8 cassette(one of which is free) and the technology is PAL.There is a free rechargeable NPFM30 battery with the camera which otherwise costs about Rs 4000/- from Sony.The gross asking price is Rs 15,990.You get a carrying bag which is rather convenient.The product has been designed for greenhorns like myself.The operation is rather basic and simple.Playback is on any tv with audio/video input preferably a Sony where the slots are in front.The camera has a display for battery charge status which can be activated easily.There is a ''flash'' like extra light in the front.The picture itself can be manipulated for various basic effects.The best feature is definitely the monitor which can turn 180 degrees either way.For easy replay the 2.5 inch display has a handy remote controller.The last mentioned thing is truly the killer app.What is more Sony phoned us a day after purchase offering to give a free demo at home.Of course,the instruction booklet was so well-written we did not require the demo.All,in all it has been a great experience learning to shoot the movies one has always wanted to make.

HANDYCAM, A LUXURY THOUGHT EARLIER NOW IT HAS BECOME A NECESSEEITY LIKE OTHER ITEMS LIKE A MICROWAVE , I AM A FATHER OF A SON AND ONE DAY I WAS JUST SITTING AND WATCHING HIM PLAY WITH TOYS , WITH ME , MY FAMILTY, RUNNING AROUND THE HOUSE, I WAS THRILLED AND AMUSED BY HIS CHILDISH ACTIVITIES. AND THEN A THOUGHT STRUCK IN MY MIND AND I JUST DISCUSSED WITH MY WIFE AND IN THAT IMPULSE WE WENT TO BUY A HANDYCAM!!1, IT WAS JUST MATTER OF AN HOUR.

I STAY IN GURGAON AND I WENT TO METROPOLITAN MALL, SONY EXCLUSIVE SHOWROOM( GANPATI ELECTRONICS), THE MANAGER THERE EXPLAINED TO ME EACH AND EVERY FEATURE OF THE CAMERA ( 238 E), IT IS SO EASY AND USER FRIENDLY, THE CONTROLS ARE EASY , IT IS NOT TOO BIG ALSO, THE CASSETTE CAN RECORD UPTO 2 HRS AND BATT BACK UP IS ALSO AMAZING WITH A FEATURE OF REMAINING BATT. CHARGE, ZOOM IS EXCELLENT ATLEAT FOR HOME USE IT IS BEST , I WAS QUIET SATISFIED WITH THE DESCRIPTION, AND FINALLY WE PURCHASED IT, WE GOT A CARRYONG BAG ALSO , BUT JUST ONE THING WAS MISSING THE CASSETTE WHICH I WAS SUPPOSED TO BUY MYSELF, ANY WAY IT WAS JUST FOR RS.160 AND LO ! WE BROUGHT IT HOME RECORDED WHOLE DAY OF MY CHILD ACTIVITY , HOW HE TALKS , HIS CHILDISH ACCENT , HIS POEM , HIS ABCD, HIS COUNTING ITS A TOTALLY EMOTIONAL ASPECT OF BUYING ATLEAST FOR ME ,, I SEE IT DLY ONCE ON MY T.V. JUST PLUG IN AND THATST IT, IT IS SO EASY AND JUST RS 50 I CAN CONVERT IT INTO A C.D AND FOR WHOLE LIFE I CAN LIVE THE MOMENTS AGAIN!!!!!!!
