The best thing I like in this bike is the smooth handling, you can easily take a sharp cut in the markets or in the critical condition.
The fuel consumption is a little bit more than this category bikes.i mean 690cc bikes of another companies.
There is some issues to the comfort of the back seater but for the riders the it is much comfortable.
By the side of its look it has a great design and its signature ktm basic design with the naked body makes it more comfortable to ride in race or in the market place but the most amazing feature is the initial acceleration it has one of the fastest acceleration which makes you feel out the world.
This bike is totally computerised so I don't need to remember everything it notifying the whole thing on the meter.
The price group is not for high this beast it totally worth.
This latest Duke is geared toward maximum performance, but it’s also designed to be user-friendly for beginning riders. Even the chassis, which retains the same lightweight stainless chromoly-steel trellis-type frame as previous Dukes, received some subtle-yet-significant changes to improve handling. The new bike also gets some slight tweaks to its styling while retaining the minimalist, narrow lines so beloved by Duke enthusiasts.
As far as comfort goes, the new 690 Duke fit my 5-foot-10 frame just fine. The controls were easy to reach and I was able to put my feet flat on the ground. We started off on the highway, which I suspected might be painful, but I was wrong—the single purrs as smoothly as a multi. Throttle response at freeway speeds is very precise with no lurching or uneven revving, and there is plenty of acceleration even in top gear.

CAUSE OF ITS LESS WEIGHT IF U GO REALLY FAST(120 km/h) YOU WILL GET OUT OF CONTROL AND MOST LIKELY meet with an ACCIDENT.
Many many students of my age in my city have passed away riding this bike
If u want to buy KTM I do recommend it but please don't ride harsh,be safe

It is one of the best bikes for racing. Good speed pick up. Handling is also nice. This bike is in terms of control on turns. Looks as a perfact bike. Overall a best experience with KTM Duke 690. People looking for a bike with this price range can go for KTM Duke 690. Also the sound of the engine is plesent and not a disturbing one.
I bought KTM Duke 690 6 months back.
I cant tell you how much I excited when I was going to buy it. Duke bike is sports bike. and its speed is outstanding. when I am riding Duke 690 everyone get jealous of me standing on the road.
Because its look is something that we never forget about it. That time when Main tera hero movie released . Varun dhawan has Duke in his movie . and that time I decide i'm gonna buy it.
whoever riding the Duke 690 his personality automatically increases. LOL
its price is not above 2 lacs. But features and look is not only like 2 lacs bikes. its look is like around 5-6 lacs bikes.

The up-raised handle bar and well fabricated seats of Duke 690 try to offer you maximum comfort while driving. You don’t have to bend forward to grab its wide handle bar which keeps you stress free on long journeys. The foot pegs are also placed at a convenient position so that you can move your legs frequently while off roading.
KTM Duke is my personal suggestion which is powered by sports bikers. It is totally sports oriented bike looks very sporty with low mileage providing of 25 km per litre.
Riding with pleasure is my own feeling of prestige as its top speed is 125 km/ hr. My view is strong in this bike for any lover of sporty bike, as it is powered with 373 cc engine but minor negativety is that there is only one cylinder fixed in it and not for rough use of it as like other bike. We need to keep it in better condition for more durablity.

Looking at the specifications for the 690 Duke, it promises to be the ultimate single-cylinder road weapon. With a claimed 67 hp from the fuel injected 690 cc single, an efficient six-speed transmission powering less than 330 pounds of dry weight ( claimed) , and featuring modern disc brakes, it looks like it should be tremendously fun to ride.

I have seen this vehicle on the streets but I have never seen any one go slow. Such an awesome powerful bike. The look of the bike and the way you sit on it will give you an extra urge to take it to the limits. I am talking about the KTM 125 and 200. I wonder what will happen if KTM 690 is on the streets. There is no big difference in their looks, Its just the power that is boosted in the machine.
As we all know that duke is a bike of ktm and ktm is a international company and as it is of 690cc it is very powerful bike for off roading and for hill stations I wabted to buy the bike but one of my relative have bought it and I have taken a ride so I can say that it is a very powerpacked bike no one can say about her looks by seeing it and riding it girst time I was speechless to see such a smart bike so go for it.
