Hi everyone:
Did not know that I would be writing my last Diary Post of 2008, so soon. Really so soon. The year went by really soon. A year full of ups and downs, a year marked by glory and turbulence. Now with all that behind us, well almost, I look forward to 2009.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MOUTHSHUT.COM MEMBERS.
In this Diary, I'd like to present before all of you a small wish list. Hope my wishes shall be granted.
So here goes.
In 2009, on MouthShut.com, I'd like to see:
A lot more reviews from seasoned members.
A lot more encouragement to new members.
A lot more personal stuff in the diaries.
Quite a few of our veterans on MouthShut.com are writing lesser reviews than before. They are present on the website but their activity is more on other features. Most of such members have a huge fan base on the MouthShut.com. Your fans demand that you become as prolific on the review section as much you are on the other features.
New writers need encouragement. Period. I would request all of you to back new review writers. Please rate their reviews and give them comments. Good, bad or ugly your ratings and comments will help them shape up better.
As much as I love jokes, forwarded inspirational messages, quotes etc, I am also a fan of personal writing. I love the way afrank, nonuest, austen_inspired, maaz_nawaz, swan, sudipto33 and many members like them put in so much personal thought to their writing. So guys, I request you to give your diary more thought and embellish it with personal musings. Trust me, it will make your Diary so addictive.
