We are supposed to be living in a free democratic country but to which extent it is true, I have no idea. It is already tough being a common man in our country, upon that we have jokers ruling us !
It was already 9.00 PM and I was half way home, the bus I was in stopped and suddenly I saw tense faces all around, little bit of looking around and I find hordes of people carrying fire torches and protesting, I think were protesting against CM's resignation or something, there were policemen around and one brave cameraman!
My heart started pounding, It was a strange feeling, thought I was in danger, suddenly people in the bus started shouting Drive Fast Drive Fast! I had only heard about people burning buses but this time I was very close to experiencing it!
Till the moment I reached home I was restless, all I wanted to do was go home and nothing else! I was scared , for the first time I realized that we are not safe! Anything can happen to us, Death is natural but are we not entitled to security? All the leaders of our country are doing are fighting for their position.
We have become so accustomed to bad things that we think there is a bomb blast when ever there is a loud noise or even an innocent alarm for that matter! We turn on the TV and all we see is misery and more misery!
Where are we left in all this? How vulnerable are we? There is no value for our lives? I am terribly scared! Are you?
