A reasonable but average buy

Review On Dasha Homes, Bangalore

I had liked the location as I was looking for a cheap invesment. When I visited the location in Anekal it looked good. I was informed by the company that all the money has to be paid at registration time and I would get the land papers within 30 days of getting the registration done. I even got some of the people referred from Infosys to buy along with me. Now it is almost 6 months since we have paid the money and no updates, no paper, nothing till now at all. First a person named Vasu said he was handling everything and after 3 months of follow up he stopped talking or taking calls. Then I have been talked to by a person claiming to be umashankar as the MD of Dasha homes.

He made a lot of junk promises just like the normal builders do in Bangalore and then he too is unreachable. No Updates no cantacts nothing. You don't even know if you are dealing with a vlaid company or spooks in the middle.

After posting this review, I have been updated that the person who has contacted me as the MD is not the MD of the company and the MD of the company doesn't talk to the customers it seems.

Now I have been told that the plot that I had got registered is no longer allowed to be registered by the government.( I couldn't understand how they were selling it in the first place, if that was the case). Now I have been offered a different plot in exchange for the one that I had selected. Suprisingly the farmland that I am planning to buy doesn't have any farming going on. The only plot where a farming was going on has been declared Kharab land by the govt. Anyway people who are buying any plots from Dasha are advised to do their home work properly.

The person Vasu who was sole contact for dealing has been removed from the company. The MD Umashankar is also not the MD. So please make your guesses as to who you are speaking to at Dasha according to your own convinience.

Finally I have got the registration papers done. And I believe it is the same land that Abhishek is mentioning below. So whoever is going for this land just be aware that the timelines that they follow are a little stretched, so you should be having a lot of patience. I had paid the money june 2009 and got the registration papers last month in 2010. They also promise to plant trees on your behalf which has not yet happened for my case. Let us see when that happens. If it can be done before JUne 2011 then I would be really happy!
