Unacceptable Experience with Redbus and ISRTC Bus

I recently booked a sleeper bus from Hyderabad to Goa through the Redbus app, paying a premium price for an ISRTC bus. However, I was allotted a different bus that was subpar in every way. The bus was not well-maintained, and the interior was unclean. To make matters worse, they didn't provide bed sheets, which was a basic expectation. The journey was extremely uncomfortable and unhygienic.


I'm extremely disappointed with Redbus for not ensuring that the bus operator met the promised standards. The price I paid was too high for such a terrible experience. I expected a comfortable and clean journey, especially since I booked an ISRTC bus. Redbus needs to take responsibility for their partner operators and ensure that customers get what they pay for.


Unless they improve their services and quality control, I would not recommend Redbus to anyone. My experience was a nightmare, and I hope others don't have to go through the same.

Very worst experience redbus blue bird travels.


Bus no: TN12AW8166(blue bird travels)


.I am rajeshwari from Chennai.I am pregnant.Yesterday night 9.30 pm I travelled on AC blue bird bus, .from 9.30 pm ac not working.I told to driver.then driver told after reached kelambakkam our blue bird manager will arrange mechanic.then all passengers 2 and half hours travelled without AC and sweating.after reached kelambakkam no mechanic. more childrens are travelled in this bus.no response from blue bird travels.blue bird team told passengers adjust to come or ur choice to go other bus.that time is 2pm.then we and our co passengers arranged another travel bus seperately.raise a complaint.

On 24 April, I booked a bus for my parents from Delhi to Varanasi, which was from 10:40 pm to 12:30 pm. Initially, the bus didn't arrive at the bus station at the right time. it arrived after an hour at 11:30 and reached Varanasi at 4 pm, this was just one part of the problem. the service provider #rajshilatravels misbehaved and abused us. There were no curtains and linens. The AC was not working properly, the bus driver didn't stop the bus at the stops. when asked about the linens and curtains, the lame answer was 'sorry, they are out of laundry'. "No privacy, No cleanliness, No proper behaviour" we didn't expect this from such a huge name. My parents were pissed.


The bus was only transporting their cargos, the main reason for the delay in the bus. they had delivered numerous number of cargos. The passengers from the bus suffered without Ac in such heated summer.


It was a nightmare for them to travel like this and moreover for us that we trusted companies like redBus for our comfort.


I am raising this complaint, so that no other person will fall into this trap. I don't know about other services providers but I will never suggest redbus and #rajshilatravels.

Wrong information no response

Team Red bus,


It was my first tour From Delhi to haldwani through red bus shekhar tour and travel. 12:40 was the timing of bus arrival. Called the number provided at the time of booking is generated. No response shown from the bus operator. I reached at the pick up point before 20 minutes. Bus timing was 12:40 but bus didn't came on time. Even no one was responding from the given number.


I was alone had 02 bags with me. Bus time was passed away. There was no clue of bus.


After calling continuously someone was answered and replied that bus will come after 2 hours.


If they could reply me earlier I could leave home as per bus timing. On ticket bus pickup was from gate n. 01 but very lately bus operator called and said come to gate n. 05.


I had to attend an important marriage function where I reached extremely late. Which spoiled my day. No one responsible for this.


I can't recommend red bus to anyone with my personal pathetic experience.


No tracking system, no control, Monopoly behaviour of bus operators.


Red bus shows something but provide something else.


I suggest people don't use their services. its all opposite thier commitment.

Hi redbus,


This is my feedback to your company please consider this and refund me.


It was so bed experience that I'll never ever forget.


.1)They ( bus person) forced us to come early at 8:59 pm and said otherwise we will leave and go. We have rush from Por bandar to Somnath and driven at risky speed. Even our time was 9:30 pm in ticket. We have to catch bus at their given time ..??


.2) Boarding person was behaving so rudely with us and it was embarrassing in public.


3.)


Bus conductor was behaving very badly as well and asking us get down if you don't like this and unfortunately we were not having any other options except this bus.


4.)


When we came inside and saw our berths it was so dirty and torn bed sheets.


5.)


Curtains are completely loosened and it was falling on head while sleeping.


6.)


No blanket are given to us whole Night we have suffer now. It's so bed.


7.)


Glass window next to me was shaking like anything and making horrible sound.


This is what today redbus bus situation and Facilities. ... We are so uncomfortable that we can't explain in Whole feedback. But we decided from today onwards not book through redubs Again and will not suggest this other as well.


Claimed loss: I want company should refund my paid amount.

April 14th - 10.15pm Sharma travels - madurai to Bangalore


Passengers bags allowed only inside the bus.


Pls check the image


Some person occupied the bag space to using unwanted load packages. So passengers all hesitate.


2 or 3 times my family facing this again and again


I need solution and professional reply for this..


@redbus team your the responsibility

2 time try to card payment , booking was error then try to Gpay payment deducted and error message, then called booking centre they say don’t book same service try onother bus service you payment will be refunded 5 to 7 days, then I book from Abibus ticket confirmation got it , then check red bus also ticket confirmation message received, then called Red bus customer care number they say if cancel 15% ducted ticket payment ! Red bus is fraud company , call centre callled 3 times they not answering, not understanding and not accepting my request

App shows free travel date change and also free cancelation for advance booking. But it does not work at all, no call assistance possible. So you cant travel with any change and Redbus enjoyyour advance paid money,


If you put review they reply very respectfully and with very sweet way, to show they are responsible / supportive. Actually it isspam. BE AWARE.


One more complain.


Also see photos of cleanly ness the bus, they also refused to clean it.

THEY MADE ME WAIT 3+ HOURS AND THEN THE BUS WENT WITHOUT PICKING ME!!


Here are my 2 experiences with City Land Travels, booked on redBus.


1. Kullu to Chandigarh


I changed my boarding point to Bhuntar, without a hitch - the staff was polite. But the bus was 1.5 hours late. The shopkeepers at the boarding point said that the most likely reason was that they merged the passengers of 2 buses into one, due to low occupancy. And the bus when it finally came was not even half full.


2. Chandigarh to Kullu (return)


My boarding point was ISBT-43, but since I was staying close to Zirakpur, I called the driver and asked if I could board from Zirakpur Metro instead. He said ok, and that he'd be there between 12 - 1 am, even though the bus was actually supposed to reach ISBT before 12 (2 hours late already). I waited till past 3 am, calling the driver at least 4-5 times just to make sure he stopped. But when the bus finally arrived, they picked up another passenger, and as I rushed to the bus, it started to move. The helper and driver both saw me, but they didn't stop, with the former shouting something at me as they went. Then I called redBus customer care, who put me on conference with the driver, who initially said he was just a few minutes away, and then changed it to 'outside Chandigarh'. Later, like after 30 odd minutes, redBus customer care called up saying that the bus was waiting for me at ISBT which is like an hour away, which itself was a joke. Even funnier was the attempt by City Land to blame the entire episode on me, saying that I should have informed the bus operator and not the driver for change in boarding point. This was not mentioned by redBus, nor by the driver in any of our 4-5 conversations. If the driver really intended to let me board the bus, he would have stopped as soon as redBus customer care called him up.


In my opinion, they picked up another passenger instead of me on purpose. Maybe they again got passengers of 2 buses onto 1. Or the other owner offered more money to the operators/driver.


Now about the role redBus played in this fiasco:


1. The live tracking was not zooming out, so it was impossible to figure out where the bus actually was. Had I known the exact location, I could have stood in front of the bus to ensure it did not leave without me.


2. There are multiple boarding and dropping points which sound really similar, but are mentioned as different. As a result, I had to take a punt on which was the right one among the many similar options, and settled for a low rated operator. Also, each time I applied a dropping point filter, the buses shown would be different (for the same place!)


3. Customer care is eventually at the mercy of the bus operators/drivers. They don't really have any authority, nor can they demand an action, or ensure any consequences.


Finally, customer care offered a full report of what happened, and a refund too. None have happened.


redBus is like those unicorns who have a monopoly now, so don't really care about customers!! (I was also constantly getting SMSes from them about ticket details - like the same message repeated 5 times in an hour!!)


Never using this service again!!
