Do not book any tickets through redBus app. They are cheaters, looting money from passengers.


I booked ticket, and realized within a seconds that I chosen wrong dates. We tried to modify the dates, but app is not allowing for it and it's saying that your TPR is not allowed for reschedule as per policy as if the policy is implemented by central government.


Within a seconds on same time after booking the ticket, they deducted 50% from the ticket amount as cancellation charges.


Never seen this kind of fraud and worst app. This is a sample fraud. They might have been cheated people many more times and did fraud.


1 star rating also waste for it. No option to give rating below that.


None of the customer care numbers are working.

Worst experience faced with red bus.

"I am writing to review Red Bus, based on the worst experience I had with them. I had booked a ticket 20 days in advance from Hosur to Rameshwaram for my father's 2nd death anniversary pooja. However, 3 hours before boarding, I received a call stating that the booking was cancelled due to permit issues. I did receive a refund for that booking.


On the same day, there were no buses available to Rameshwaram, so I booked a ticket from Hosur to Madurai with a boarding time of 9:15 PM. My family and I waited until 11:00 PM, after which an SRS Travel Agency representative informed us that the bus had been cancelled. Till now, I have not received a refund ticket number-TT7J14429535, Customer care has been unhelpful and their responses have been inadequate.


As a result of Red Bus's negligence, I had no choice but to book a car and spend ??, 000 to reach Rameshwaram. I was left with no option but to proceed with the trip. Besides the inconvenience, I have also not received my refund. This has been a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Red Bus."

Such a bad experience that the entire journey took 17 hours to reach the destination. Because of the new rule that KA, NL registration buses cannot enter via tamil Nadu unless they re register the permit the journey was routed through different path via Mysore-waynad-Thrissur. This should have been informed in prior by red bus which they didn't do. On top of that when we chat with the customer care, they are not even responding. Such a pathetic experience with red bus and the Dream line travela

Worst experiance worst service support

I booked a bus Sangli to Mumbai on 17th June 2024 and ticket number is TT7G74304774. The bus was broke down near Karad city around 1am in the night and there were no any other arrangement of bus by bus operator, and after waiting 5-6 hours I had to come back to my city Sangli which forced me to cancel my impotant meeting in Mumbai. This inconvinience cuased by negelegence and lack of bus maintainance by bus operator. so after coming back I raised this issue to redbus who was mediator and they was just offering me 20% refund and moreover they were defending the bus operator like bus break down is common thing and no one can predict such events and all. but the problem was because of bus operator eho did not arrange any alternative bus for 5-6 hours after the incident. I asked red bus to refund my hard earned money but redbus service center is not responding. I will never use redbus here onwards. worst worst service by their team

Not picking up the passenger and leaving the bus.

I had a bad experience with Redbus booking. I had to board the bus from Kalamandir, Marathahalli(Bangalore) at 10:30 PM. We reached the stop by 10:20 PM and waited till 10:40 PM. As there was no sign of the bus in the bus stop we called the bus driver they told that they already left the stop. When we track the bus, the bus has already left the stop at 10:20 PM without picking us from the stop and when we asked why haven't you called us. They told they called us and it was showing a wrong number. The bus driver ask to come to another stop to catch the bus which is 20 km far from the place where we were standing. We have to book the other cab and reach to the other bus stop.


Same incident happen with other passenger at same time for other bus.


Here three reasons which proves redBus service is pathetic.

  1. Bus leaves the stop before the given pick up time to the passenger. If the bus would have been there we would have find the bus with the bus number and boarded.

  2. Bus driver says that he called us but the number was wrong number. I checked my redBus profile, number was correct as I have booked with the same number. But when I checked with driver, redBus app was providing wrong number to the driver. That's the reason driver was not able to reach out to us.

  3. Bus would have been left without picking us at any of the stop, if we have not called the bus driver and insist him to stop the bus in 20 km far bus stop. It means we have booked the ticket, and the same ticket will be provided to other passenger and if passenger complaints they can say it's passenger mistake not providing the correct number. This way redBus is looting is looting the customer.

I complaint but redbus told bus conductor say it come on station


Again I complaint please confirm on varanasi bus station but they do not any action


They never refund money


I suggest please carefully book tickets in red bus

RedBus: Photos Promise, Reality Disappoints

I recently used the RedBus app to book a one-way trip, and my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite the enticing photos and videos displayed during the booking process, the actual conditions of the buses often fell short of expectations.


First and foremost, hygiene standards were severely lacking. For the price I paid, which ranged from 800 to 1, 000 rupees, I expected at least basic cleanliness. However, on multiple occasions, I was disappointed to find dirty seats, unpleasant odors, and unkempt restrooms. It's disheartening to spend hard-earned money only to be greeted with such subpar conditions.


Moreover, when it comes to addressing issues such as delays or cancellations, RedBus's real-time customer service leaves much to be desired. It's frustrating to encounter delays without any clear communication or assistance from the customer service team. They seem ill-equipped to handle such situations effectively, leaving passengers stranded and uninformed.


On the bright side, I must admit that RedBus is fairly active with their refunds and compensation process. However, this does little to mitigate the inconvenience and discomfort experienced during the actual journey.


Overall, my experience with RedBus has been disappointing. The discrepancy between the advertised conditions and the reality of the buses, coupled with inadequate customer service, makes it difficult to recommend this app for booking bus tickets.

Zero star for red bus, unethical and unprofessiona

I will give zero star red bus. On 22 may 2024 booked a bus ticket to kerala by mistake I was supposed to book it for 23rd may 2024, without wasting time i immediately called call center and told senario as there was still time for free date change before may 22nd 12 30 pm. But the customer care advised to cancel and rebook with same operator for new date and they will refund full amount.. but when I book new ticket and connected the chat support said no refund possible.

Horrible experience with this bus service. The buses are always late, and the staff is extremely rude. The seats are uncomfortable, and the overall cleanliness is appalling. Avoid this service if you can.


I booked a ticket online, but when I arrived at the bus stop, the bus never showed up. Customer service was unhelpful and didn't offer any compensation or alternative solutions. Terrible service, would not recommend."

Bus service k naam pr koi service nhi hai last Mai apki bus ko cancel krk dusri bas Mai travel krne ko bolte hai aur uska bhi charge krte hai bahut hi kharab service provide krte hai a/c charger point kaam nhi krte hai. Jo bhi ye reviews padhe toh bas book krne se phly 100 bar zaror soche ki only bookin k naam pr travel agent froud kr rahe hai refund bhi 24 hours ka bol k wapis nhi krte hai, do baar amount le liya 7 logo ka ek baar 5538 or dusri baar Mai 6650


Delhi se nainital jaane ka he paise inhone 12185 rupe le liya or refund ke naam per 4000 rupees wapas kr rhe hai or inki bus devbhumi ke driver ka na baat krne ka dhang hai or na he service Dena ka or khe rhe hai hum aapko service charges cut kr ke de rhe hai service ke naam per pagal bna diya

Puri fraud company hai mane 7 logo ke liye ticket book ki thi 11 may ki delhi yo nanital ke liye jis mai se 6 ticket 748 ki thi or 1 ticket 1050 ki mane puri ticket 5538 rupes ki kri lakin hmri bus last moment cancel kr di or hmse bola ki bus kharb ho gai hai es liye aapko dusri bus mai shift kr rhe hai, ofr bolte hai ki aapko 200 rupees extra pay krni padegi lakin unhone 200 ki jagha 950 liye per person or hmri pahli payment refund nhi ki or bus wali na call pic krta hai na msg ka response deta na, na he redbus ki trf se koi bhi conformation aai or aaj company wale phone kr ke bolte hai ham aapki complaint ragister kr rahe hai, hum naintal ghum kr bhi aa gaya lakin company bus complaint he register kr rhe hai, hmre 5538 rupees ki payment mai se 4000 he refund krne ki bol rhe hai, or baki ke 1538 ki sevice or gst cut kr rhe hai, service ke naam pr pagal bna diya or gst ke naam per paisa kha liya puri he fruad company hai plz koi bhi in se booking na karaye or karate hai to 10 baar soch le, or devbhoomi naam ki bus to bilkul bhi book na kre .

Its worst journey by the redbus....humne red bua se delhi to nainital ke liye ticket book and end of the moment hume call ata hai ki apki bus ticket cancel ho chuki hai bcoz of jo bus thi vo khrab ho hai and humne kaha ki hum nikal chuke hai aap aise kaise cancel kr skte hai to unhone hume ek dusri bus ki ticket krke di aur kaha ki apko 200 aur dene hoge but baad me hume 950 rs aur liye gaye aur kaha ki apke pehele wali bus ticke ke paise refund ho jayenge but 7 logo ke paise abhi tak refund nhi huye aur koi responsibility naam ki chiz nhi hum call kr rhe hai to call bhi pic nhi krr rhe humari....i will say red bus is a worst agency ever....

Recently I have opted for red rail seat guarantee service which is cleaver manipulated red rail business model in this service we did not get confirmed ticket and can not utilise 3X refund amount and end up paying huge amount in red bus for last minute booking in red bus better choose individual service website instead of opting for common platform like redbus
