I used to be follower of this website Idlebrain.com earlier where the movie reviews used to be more genuine. Also the content of the website used to be attractive and more appealing. But now from last 3-4 years there was lot of changes happened with the website, the reviews were not genuine and seems more like a paid by that movie marketing team. The Website home page is with full of paid advertisements.

I almost stopped opening this website now days, because of too many ads and poor reviews. I would suggest never trust the movie review provided over this website. This is purely a commercial website about movie tickets, distributors and paid ads.

Well I usually visit Ragalahari for its photo galleries and happening and I like the website because of its layout. And wen ever I dont find much info on the Raga, I visit this IdleBrain because both of these website have great clarity of photo gallary.  And The Gallery opens up pretty Faster.

The Gallery and info are updated almost everyday and even twice a day I suppose, just like the Ragalahari.

But the thing I dont like with idle brain is, the Layout of the Gallery is worst. I could view the separate folder listing like Movies, Actors, event. Its all Jumbled.   And when we go to the actors list is not regular and is jumbled again and is arranged as the date of publishing which is a head ache.  And therefore I mostly watch the updates with Ragalahari.

Wat also think is, the photographers for both the Websites are Same. The only difference is, the some photos which Ragalahari misses, the idlebrain post that and vice verse.

But Otherwise, the photo published are of excellent quality.

Overall, Just like Ragalahari, idle brain is another Tollywood Showcasing website but needs improvement.

Idlebrain.com is definitely a good resource for telugu movie news. Lately the reviews have become completely unreliable. Earlier versions were good when idlebrain has no say in actual sales.

It is not euphemism if I say that atleast in USA, the cost of renting a film depends on the review on idlebrain.com and just like any other group which would like to use the power it gets to make the best of the money, jeevi has started doing it. The reviews are given based on the crowd at the theatre. If our man jeevi gets ticket on the first day and he doesnt find many people he makes the guess that the movie is going to flop and writes a bad review. If the reverse happens the movie is said to have a very good entertainment value.

Movie review should give an unbiased and clear cut opinion and not the opinion of the crowd on the day the reviewer visits the theatre.

The worst part of the reviews are that he gives tips on how the movie should have been directed !!

There are a number of web sites that were started in the lines of idlebrain.com. But none of them could taste success like this one. As a fellow Telugu movie lover, I wish idlebrain.com would continue to provide us credible content on the wonder that is called Telugu Cinema.

Recently people who are watching telugu movies and who want to know how the movies are doing at the boxoffice are referring to the information provided at Idlebrain.com. The mail section people always like to see is Jeevi's review and they generally measure his rating out of 5 as a hit or flop movie. But very recently Jeevi is not doing his job right.

Instead of giving an unbiased view and review he started experimenting with the review system. He gives a higher review for a not a good movie to see whether it makes any difference in at the box office and similarly he is giving ridiculously low score for OK movies.

His reviews are not straight forward and to the point he is trying to play games by trying to please every one. For example in his review for Gudumba Shankar he praized the actor for his performance he even said it was his best performance but finally said it is not a very good movie as it has few defects.

Again he says that all the actors fans must watch the movie as he has done an incredible performance. This dual stand is what I did not like. I think he should be more straight forward instead of twisting things. Most of movie successes and the number of places a movie is played in the US is decided on his review now and during this time if he is playing games with his numbers with out actually giving unbiased information then I think it is soon that he will have to face problem.

Due to copyright issues he has stopped jukebox on his website and soon he will be forced to stop information regarding movie schedules as confidential sources reveal that some distributors are angry with his review system as it is causing them huge loss so they are withdrawing their advertisement material from his website.
