Presentation at their experience canter was good.


When comes to pricing part For Kitchen(Modular), Bed rooms(2) wardrobe with loft, simple TV unit with vanity for two bathroom sinks for this they quoted 7.48L. Then I was asked by budget and according to that their discount change. After hearing to my bgdt homelane guy replied if we book right infront of them they reduce it to 4.5L.


Looks fishy when organized player shows this much of difference between MRP and final price after listening to the budget from customer. So take wise decision

Extremely money looting and inexperienced

We got the service done in 2021. The assigned designer would always keep saying she is learning. They assigned a new person to my project who was totally incompetent in her job. Anything we asked she had a fabricated answer of No it cannot be done. Infact many things I got done from outside carpenters who did a fantastic job then them. Totally waste of money. They disnt even provide the 6months free service visit. And oh, for any service post that, pay a hefty 750! Over promises under delivered is all I can say

Exhausting and sad experience

When I started with HomeLane everything was perfect till the design discussions. I trusted more than they deserved to be trusted. I believe humans can make mistakes, but a designer sending incorrect measurements for production does not feel justified. They were the ones holding the tapes, and I was confirming the overall design. Not sure where the actual millimeters and centimeters were mentioned. Be careful when you are giving your consent. Trust is the last thing you would want to have on them. Very poor support service. All talks and less work. They are active when money needs to be collected on time. Keep calling people in rounds. Everyone is very busy except you. Take a look at the wonderful wardrobe unit they deaigned with mathematical precision. Even a kid can design better I feel. For what did I pay design fees I am not sure. In the name of deep cleaning, duating was done. Pen mark was boldly created on my Quartz countertop and no one cared to clean their mess. I can only crib and feel slightly better. Everything is falling on deaf ears. If you choose homelane, buy a measuring tape and measure every millimeter yourself before you approve anything. Deadlines are only for us while paying money. They have eternity to discuss amongst themselves smallest of issue. Tbey can keep you on hold forever. Be warned and stay on your toes if at all you choose homelane. All interior designers and associated companies are terrible. Interior designing is a big joke.

HomeLane Review 2023: Pathetic experience with homelane-

  1. While the product quality is commendable, Homelane falls short in terms of processes and their team's responsiveness. If you believe that choosing Homelane as a working professional will save you time, you're mistaken. Instead, you'll end up wasting your hard-earned money and becoming an irritable person due to the daily frustrations you'll face.

  2. It's easier to receive a response from a dead person than to get any update or revert from Homelane without making multiple calls, messages, and follow-ups.

  3. Lack of proactiveness is evident. Homelane doesn't seem to care if anything is being rescheduled or delayed from their end.

  4. Instances of misbehavior are common. From the top management at Homelane to the lower-level staff like plumbers and electricians, we have encountered instances of misbehavior. Despite their numerous mistakes, we have still paid them the full amount.

  5. The designers offer no assistance. Throughout the entire process, the designers show zero interest and provide no suggestions. Despite initial promises of helping with selections and other aspects, they simply share Pinterest images for shortlisting.

  6. Poor coordination within the Homelane team.

  7. Poor quality of workmanship. The overall quality of work is abysmal, and they often damage household items like tiles. You're left to bear the cost of fixing these damages on your own. There is no sense of ownership from Homelane's side.

  8. Inefficient app and ticket system- our tickets were routinely closed without any communication.

  9. Ineffective WhatsApp group communication. The top management in the WhatsApp group behaves like "Dhritarashtra in Mahabharat, " observing everything but never reacting or providing support, even when directly addressed to them

  10. Numerous additional charges. Everyone from plumbers to electricians, including Homelane itself, seizes every opportunity to make additional money from you under the guise of "out-of-scope tasks." You often find yourself in a situation where you were not informed of these charges but are still expected to pay.

  11. Disappointing post-service experience. It has been more than 3 months there is no estimated time for the necessary fixes. They even installed the wrong colored light(yellow instead of white), and we have been waiting for a replacement for three months without any updates. To add insult to injury, we are expected to pay for the electrician's visit. Can anyone provide an explanation for this?

  12. Superficial quality control process. In Home Lane, quality control(QC) is merely a facade.

I strongly advise you to carefully reconsider before selecting Homelane for your interior needs. While they may deliver good quality, their services will leave you struggling. They essentially operate as professional deceivers. Please refer to the photos showcasing the things we have to go through the whole process or the things done wrongly by Homelane

Fake discount offers, Non professional staff

Fake and fraud company. Please don't book anything with Homelane. Discount offer is big fraud. Please read & understand my review before even taking appointment.


They will give you discount offer and ask you to pay 10% booking amount which is nonrefundable after 48hrs. This 10% is only based on initial design which is lower.


But things will change once you start real designing when this 10% is not refundable. and designing take weeks. it will be too late to realize that they are neither end to end and professional you were looking.


in my case I did booking with 10% with offer of 35% discount. Once we started the real design based on measurements, I realized Homelane cannot meet my expectation of designs. and that's where the game started. Homelane guys started putting thing as carpenter work which is not with discount and also not with 10yrs(fake) warranty. so there two offering are fake 10yrs end to end and 35% discount.


I realized their quote was higher and excluding carpenter work. the first quote was 50% higher so I asked the designer to check, and he tricked me saying cost will reduce once we do masking and that’s where I lost my 10% booking amount. as they have term and condition that there will not be any refund once masking done.


I was still ok to go ahead with kitchen work and do the rest of furniture with someone who could meet my expectation. but Homelane team was pushing me to give them complete furniture even after I explained that they are not meeting my expectation. and that where I got informed that 35% discount is only with full work. Which was complete shock to me as this was going to increase quote even more. Finally, they offered me 14% discount only by that discount I was supposed to pay 60-80K more.


When I told them 35% was not with any terms and condition the design lead was not able to give me proper explanation. and said we will not give you the agreed discount.


so that's where Homelane again proved that these guys are not even interested in Business. as they have already earned 10%.


So I will suggest everyone to not even take their works and even writing discount because they could loot you by just booking amount. I also want to make sure that no one fall to their trap again. as you could see there are similar reviews on google.

Frightening experience working with Homelane. Not a single commitment has been maintained. We've been harassed like anything. Quality of work is very poor. Designers have very limited knowledge and the final product is far less than expectations.

When we went for home lane JP nagar branch to check the offers , they said 42 percent offer for the same day and they asked us to pay 48000 on d same day n we have paid the amount the very next day they took measurements for name sake but work has not started for couple of months we have waited for months but they have not at all started work or given us with good plan nothing they did finally we have requested refund but we received ly 24000 return amount they have not done any work we just have wasted our money just by visiting to the wrong place .don't ever visit home lane u I'll loose money they I'll never do work simply they collect money by saying discounts n offers they will ask us to pay advance amount once we pay we should forget it ...it's a cheating froad scam furniture company .

Stay off, is all I would say. I had visited the Homelane, Hebbal Bangalore outlet a couple of times. Gave them my floor plan. The designer did a fairly good job of assisting me with ideas. Off course, it takes time for a home owner to finalize on the interiors as it's a one time doing. There starts pouring of calls. I assured them of my contract orally and requested that I would personally visit again for a few changes and go ahead. One Mr. Ravikiran of the outlet tells me that if I ain't visiting immediately, he would pass on the offers to other customers. Being the month end, his target was to trap me. Once I said I ain't in a hurry, he removed me from the group theh had. THIS IS HOMELANE! Not even started and their colors show up. He may have taken it easy to waste my time and play around. But that ain't the case with me. He has played with the wrong bull. Will update proceeds soon. HIS ATTITUDE IS GONNA COST HIM AND HOMELANE PRETTY BIG!

Most Most Most pathetic experience with HomeLane Varthur branch ... its the been more than 60 days following with this pathetic team with worst designer named "FORUM" who messed up with our 15 lac plus interior with worst understanding of designing and rudest behaviors I have seen with the client pathetic after sales service and production team incapability of delivery the product even after multiple follow-up .... I am not sure if this message will reach to higher management of Homelane but I really want to communicate to users who are going to invest so much in this Home lane Varthur Branch please don't go for that specially the whole design team who are bunch of irresponsible freshers

Unexperienced, Unmatured management

I did my Interior work by homelane. In this process I ordered one wardrobe with champagne colored frame. Designer selected that in her design but changed later to white without my opinion and delivered me as white. I raised my concerned to management team. After understanding everything , management team is forcing me to take designer mistake instead my chosen color. I am really surprising how manager support designer mistake instead of customers requirement. I provided them agreed 3d pictures with selected color but they are not ready to accept.

Excellent work with complete interior knowledge

My furniture was completed in June 2023 at the Homelane branch in Varthu, Bangalore. The after-sales crew provided excellent support. They delivered the assignment on time and resolved all the problems without any trouble. I would especially like to thank Ms. Foram Vaishnav(Designer), Mr. Pradeep(Project Manager), Aishwaria(Business Manager), and Priyanka Barua(Manager) for helping me to plan a best dream house according to my budget, time, and especially I need to thank everyone for bearing me with last-minute changes without getting angry or pissed off. The manners were proper. appears to be product savvy. Work completed quickly.


I want to express my gratitude to Rajesh Kumar(the carpenter) for providing me with a wonderful finish that beyond my expectations while yet being 100% accurate.


I received my ideal home from the factory with no hassle regarding delivery or the final product.

Denied refund of 25000 Advance amount

I have booked interior designing activities for home from Viman Nagar Pune office. paid 25000 advance on 5th March 2023.


after 1 month no activities at site from their end and i have asked them to discontinue desiging part and request for advance amount of 25000 rupees.


people stop picking up my phone and from customer service email only 1 auto reply coming your ticket is resolved


still i am struggling to get my 25000 rupees from them.


look like they made a business of cheating.


I would request dont even visit to any homelane office. they all are poor and cheater.

False Promises and Absentee Representatives

I visited Homelane in their Sarath City Mall showroom late in 2022. We were treated very professionally and courteously. They assured us of their commitment to completion of the project in 45 days no matter the reason. We had only one condition- that homelane become the single point of contact and that we deal with that Homelane representative throughout the project. They completely agreed and introduced us to an architect and a project manager. Initial experience till commencement of the project by paying 50% up front was good.


We the got the house and that’s when the nightmare began.

  1. No guidance whatsoever in the order of execution (for example to inform us that AC and internet cable needs to come before false roofing)

  2. Architect never visited the house after project commenced

  3. For every single aspect of the project we were handed over to a very sub par contractor (Dollfine a subcontractor for Homelane being the worst) and washing their hands off us

  4. Dollfine completely failing the electrical wiring and spooling the user experience

  5. Showing other customers our house as their work without our permission including thing my wife and I designed

  6. Theft of spare switches, lights etc

  7. Dollfine failure to deliver final furniture after months of follow up we gave up

  8. Quality of finished work is very much below basic expectations and standards

We are just thankful that the nightmare is over and informing as many people as we can not to go to any homelane

The initial experience was great! made us feel like Homelane, (Kompally, Hyderabad) is the best choice we have made for our kitchen design. After the initial meeting, we were introduced to the designer who presented a clean and near-perfect design for the kitchen. These are the only good things that we experienced.


First, they ask to pay the full amount before the completion of the installation. If you are trying to go with Homelane, please do not agree to this. Do find a company that does this without taking the full amount.


Second, their PM came for site masking and did not take the measurements properly. When the units came to the house from production there were so many issues and we had to make so many compromises. The PM constantly pushes the blame onto us claiming that he advised everything when in fact he did not.


They first said the installation will take 5 days. But from start to finish, the installation alone took 19 days.


They created a WhatsApp group with a long list of members but no one even bothers to respond.


While resizing the wooden cabinets, they damaged our granite flooring. I have asked them several times about an answer but no one responded to that and they conveniently avoided answering that question and responded to all the other comments.


They could not even cut a hole for washbasin properly. and they damaged the base plywood.


The QC person came and just checked a few things. He came to us and asked if we had any doubts and then left. He did not even notice the damages that they have done.


This has been the worst experience and I would for sure never recommend them!

Home lane is a worst company, the way they are doing business. They take entire amount of money well in advance against lot of commitment but in practice they do nothing. Even they take money but did not give service. All the staffs, hierarchy are useless and do not know how to speak.

WE PLANNED FOR A MODULAR BOOK SHELF ALONG WITH CORNER TABLE AND TOP CABINET IN OUR DINING ROOM FOR WHICH THEY CHARGED A HEFTY FEE OF AROUND 2.2 LACS.NOW ONCE YOU PAY THEM THE DOWNPAYMENT YOU ARE FINISHED. WE PURCHASED FROM KOLKATA KASBA STORE WHERE THEY HAVE THIRD CLASS DESIGNER NAMED PRIYANKA WHO HAS ZERO KNOWLEDGE REGARDING INTERIOR DESIGING. THE TOOK ALL THE MEASUREMENT WRONG DELIVERED WRONG TYPE OF MATERIALS WHICH WE CHOOSE. LASTLY WHILE WORKING THEIR CARPENTED DID SOME DAMAGE TO OUR CABINET WHICH AT THE TIME OF QUALITY CHECKING THE PROMISED TO REPLACE. BUT LATER THEY SIMPLY DENIED THAT IT WAS NOT DONE FROM THEIR END SO THEY CAN NOT REPLACE IT. WE GOT A PROJECT MANAGER NAMED PIJUSH BAIDYA WHO VISITED ONLY ONCE TO THE SITE AND NEVER PICKED UP OUR PHONE OR DID NOT PAY ANY HEED TO OUR COMPLAINTS. LASTLY HOMELANE ONLY HAS SOME MODULAR DESIGN AND YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE FROM THAT MINIMUM AVAILABILITY ONLY.THEY CAN NOT CUSTOMIZE ANYTHING AS PER YOUR REQUIREMENT.SO I WARN EVERYBODY NEVER AVAIL SERVICE FROM THEN BETTER GO FOR LOCAL CARPENTER OR GODREJ INTERIO.

Bad at keeping their promises and quality post installation. Workmen are not at all good in post installation visits. Jus like marketing and sales teams are good but service is bad . Dnt trust in that aspect

Homelane delivery quality

I have spend 12 to 14L on interior work with Homelane but their quality of delivery were not up to the mark and they failed in their commitment. I see serious lapese in their work handling process and delivery system.


Homelane has did multiple rework on my project and now it's almost 7 months but still issues with my project has not solved.


I observed, Homelane doesn't have any strong process for customer support too. Their executives will requested to raise the service ticket on system to handle open issues which supposed to be solved at the time of installation itself. But once you open the service ticket on Homelane portal, the Homelane service team has closed the ticket from backend without addressing the issues.


And another issues with Homelane is, their executives and designers are keep changing so frequently so that, what you have discussed and agreed with that executives, no one is there to honor that.


My suggestion choose your interior company very carefully which strong customer support system.

Work is average

They screwed up the whole electric circuit of the apartment to shift one tv unit board above 2 inches. Had to struggle with 4 to 5 electricians to figure out why they had to even spoil the whole apartment, couldn't even operate one light and the whole apartment would trip out. Horrible designing not as promised by Meghana and team no space saving designs or creativity . Longer than promised. No leadership or accountability of the delay . Handles weren't delivered on time so handover delayed by 15 days. Had issues of not delivering the apartment on time to client. Lost in that aspect with client


Reconsider before their sweet talk while signing up.Then they say its different team and not in writing etc
