I have given my car for service and repairs on 15th May 2024 appx. Car No- DL10CE4652. It was given to GoMechanic Rathi Motors under the Go mechanic representative Gurmeet Singh.
The initial budget they gave me of 65000, which includes paint, suspension-like shockers etc, AC etc. but I had asked them to first resolve the primary problem of strong engine vibrations and car turning off on speed breakers due to heavy vibrations. They were supposed to start the remaining job after resolving the primary issue. Mr. Gurmeet came to me saying all OK now and I approved to start the entire job. Then after 1.5 months, the promise was to deliver the car in 10 days, I got my car back with pending work.
Issues I found (Same issues for which I have given the car for work)-
1- Paint job not finished.
2- Loud knocking sound from back of car.
3- ENGINE VIBRATIONS, nothing was done.
4- AC weird sound in cabin.
5- Bumber locks were improper.
I asked them about all these, then they said “Car’s Engine head needs to be repaired”. I asked them if primary problem was not solved then why did you even started the work? They had no answer.
I again approved additional 10000 Rs engine head job. Again I got my car back last week. But the same problems were there. Nothing resolved for which I have paid 75000.
Car is again at workshop with same problems.
This is actually fraud too. They gave me projections of 65000 initially which includes replacements of parts like, condenser, cooling coil, engine mount, shocker mount etc. but nothing of these replaced. And if that so then how come the bill was still 65000 and additional 10000 which I have paid for no work. I have not authorized any other work apart from what's added in estimate bill list.
GoMechanic, workshop and their representative made fool of me. I have paid 75000, after 2 months, I still don’t have my car and still below mentioned issued are unresolved for which I gave my car for repairs in the first place-
1- Engine Vibrations- Cost me more than 11000 Rs.
2- AC Issues- Cost me approx 20000 Rs.
3- Loud knocking sound.- Spent Around 6000 Rs.
4- Too much cabin noise.
5- Even Gurmeet Singh stopped me from buying your MILES package of Rs. 900/- which will reduce my parts bill by upto 20%, he said he will arrange the same discount for me but even he charged me more than whats discussed without such discounts. This shows complete gang up between workshop and Gurmeet against customer.
6- Also I have found my bonnet holder broken, broken door plastic, poorly finished work-(some wires in engine were not properly tied, All in all, no professional way of working- its all local JUGAD way of doing things.
Note- Also I will be giving my car, once received from Gomechanic, to Toyota Center to get checked whether everything is done as per the bill.
This is very serious, I am allowing them to keep my car for one more week to resolve the issues for which I have paid huge amount, otherwise I will have no other option but to go for legal complaint against GoMechanic, Gurmeet Singh and workshop. I have everything to support my case.
SO EITHER RESOLVE THE PROBLEMS PROPERLY FOR WHICH YOU HAVE CHARGED OR INITIATE REFUND OF THINGS UNDONE AND ALSO INITIATE REFUND FOR EXCESS CHARGED AMOUNT AS PER ESTIMATE AND FINAL BILL, ALONG WITH PROPER DISCOUNTS. My only MISTAKE was that I trusted the GOMECHANIC.
