Finally a good place to buy Nintendo Wii in India

Avid gamers have reason to cheer. After looking around everywhere on the web for a good place to buy Nintendo Wii in India.

I'm a big fan of the Nintendo platform and although Micorosoft Xbox seems to be more popular here, I love the physical involvement in Nintendo games that just seems to take gaming to a whole new level. The Nunchuk controller is a real piece of innovation.

Autsun sold me a genuine product with manufacturer warranty, and they also have a reasonable selection of games, although less than what are normally available in the US. I hope Autsun can procure some more gaming titles on the Nintendo platform.

Some of the interesting gaming titles are NBA Live, Guitar Hero and Pro Evolution Soccer. I have been a long time Nintendo user and have moved on from the Mario Brothers series, which I did used to enjoy at one stage in my life.

I would like to recommend autsun.com to anyone for buying books. I recently bought The Lost Flamingoes of Bombay by Siddharth Dhanvant Shanghvi, a book recently released, at a great price.The book is nicely written -- I was told it was based on Jessical lal's case, but I think it could be any suspense thriller. The characters are interesting, and is pretty bold in its portrayal of homosexualty.

The end is a bit boring.This is another book centered around Bombay. Bombay seems to be in the news for all the right and wrong reasons. The author is nominated for Man Asian Literary Prize 2008.Autsun's delivery was great -- received the book in 1 day, nicely packed and all, with bookmarks and stuff. I usually buy books there since they have a good collection of books from most publishers. Earlier used to go to bookstores but many nice bookstores are shutting down in Delhi -- or they don't have enough variety.

The postman always rings twice. But the doorbell rang only once. Uh--must be the courier-wala. I open the door to find a tall package waiting for me. "Package from Autsun.com", the courier-wala tells me.

For a second I cannot believe myself. It's not been even 24 hours since I placed an order online for a Philips Bar Blender, at autsun.com. Well the site looked good, the price was right -- they had Mastercard Securecode on their site which means I get to punch my password before my card is authenticated, so I went ahead and took the plunge -- placed my first order online ever for a home appliance.

I'm now back inside the house with the package, trying to open the bundle. It is so neatly secured in multiple layers of corrugated sheets, bubble wraps and thermacol that it takes me a full 10-minutes with a kitchen knife to free the bar blender.

Ah, joy! Way to go, autsun! I think now I should try out the bar blender and post a review for that. But that is a matter for another day!

I have been using autsun.com for sometime now and am pretty happy with their service. I usually buy electronics & gadgets - mobiles, chargers etc. My experience in dealing with this service has been refreshing and extremely pleasant. If you are quality conscious, then you may not mind paying a bit extra for shipping costs - all packages delivered to me were sent by Blue Dart or TNT, not the cheapest services around but definitely the most reliable - after all, you would not want to receive a damaged item.

The other interesting thing about this service is that they can source products for you that are generally not available, e.g. in my case I needed a battery for my old PowerBook that was not available in shops or with my regular dealer. I raised a request with autsun and although it did take them about 2 weeks to source the product, eventually I did get it and saved me quite a lot of trouble! I love my old PowerBook.

Overall, I would highly recommend this service. So far, I have not had a bad experience with them. They regularly send email alerts regarding the status of my order and often they update me on the phone as well. If you have any doubt, just call their call center.

I purchased bullworker, that I later found was marked at a MRP lower than the price Autsun moreover I checked with the bullworker india, they charged only Rs 150 for shipping if one purchases the product directly from them, where as autsun.com charged Rs. 300 + . I think this is the last time I purchased any thing from this site, and I do not recommend to any one.

I also observed they brought the product price to approximately the listed MRP, but charging Rs 606.00 for shipping... that was really funny. Stay away from this shopping site for they rip the money off your wallet.

I did receive a call from the customer service acknowledging the error in selling price, however on asking them to send a cheque or depositing the money in my account over e-mail there is no reaction from the customer service. BTW It is illigal in India to sell any thing at sale price more than MRP.
