I know. it IS only a 14" TV, but this TV was lined up along with those of many other brands, and in spite of the high price(you could buy yourslf an AKAI 20' TV for this price then), I fell in love with the crystal-clear picture. Bought this TV in 2002 just before the FIFA World Cup, and have enjoyed it ever since. I had a minor initial problem soon after purchase, but Videocon, who was the service-provider for Toshiba at the time, replaced it immediately.
As of now, the only problem I have is a non-functioning ON/OFF switch(which probably gave way from continuous use), but that's a very minor thing(I can still use the remote ON/STANDBY), and can be repaired at any regular repair shop. I just haven't had the time to take it there.
On the whole, a fine buy. you don't usually get comments on how your TV looks, unless it's one of those cool HD/PLASMA/ blah blah ones, but I've had women go, "Oh, such a cute TV" when they see it!:). my neighbour is eyeing it, by the way!
