Sony Ft Trinitron Wega KV XA 21M83

Hi everyone I want to say my review on the television the Sony Ft Triniton Wega KV XA 22M83 led tv. I had brought it Nearly 30 months ago. In beginning I had small issues with my issue but now slowly the video quality is reducing and the picture appears very dull and we could not look at the images properly.the volume levels are also decreasing and sometimes suddenly the volume rises up and down also. The customers service is not good because I had called them to reslove my problem but never respond to me immediately. Even if respond also they delay saying that will come tomorrow sir.

The cost was very high that we can get another  branded television too. In my tv I can see the lines on the screen. I think all these actions are due to improper resolution of the screen and low quality manufacturing items in the machine.

In my home, I've maximum product SONY, TV, DVD player, Home theatre, Handycam and Camera. So We are the fan of SONY. and this television performance is very tremendous and life also good. working since 8years without any issue. in built Speaker and sub woofer is very effective for music. and 3 AV pins available for front one and back side 2. one for DVD and rest of all we can use for any other AV functions. Picture clarity is very good.

I was a Brand SONY Fan. Some time back when we were thinking of buying

a Television.... I convinced every one t buy SONY..... For sometime it

worked but after that I realized that the decision was wrong. I bought

SONY music system and TV at  nearly same time. For 6 months

amazing performance but after that it declined badly. After 1 yr the

WEGA TV was operating worse when compared to any other brand. The

picture quality and sound both were really bad. Even for some channels

the reception was bad. I thougt it to be a problem with the

connection/reception but when we connected LG TV it was functioning

normal.

I had a good image of SONY in my mind. For first few months it was good

but after that it sucks big time. There is something called life of a

product. I am sure every one wants to spend money one time & then

relax for next 3-4 yrs. But here every yr you have to put money on

service and repair. The spare parts are very  much costly.

I recently visited a sony service centre and noticed that the daily

repairs are somewhere between 150-200. At 1000/- (minimum) per repair

it becomes 1.5 Lacs per day of income.  I saw ppl frustrated with

Digi Cam, TV & music system. The company is running a very good

model for making money. The real quality of products is revealed when

the warrantly gets over.

Pls check before buying SONY products.

It’s been a year since I bought his television, and I can say that I had done a gross misjudgment, in choosing this brand and models. When I bought this TV, Sony was still an exclusive and expensive brand; the price of a 21 inch TV was comparable to a 29 inch Samsung. But being a stickler for quality and excellence, I thought that it was a just investment-but how wrong I was! The Cons-

1) Very Low Resolution- It shows scan lines on even from the highest resolution source. One does not feel any difference watching DVDs.

2) Pathetic White Level control- does not handle white level and gamma level properly.

3) Bleeding in the picture- the colors on the screen often bleed. Example- all the logos of the channels do not show properly.

4) The picture on the screen is cut- it displays a smaller picture than the source.

5) The video 2 jack is in front of the TV, and poses a big problem when u has two video devices.

6) Useless Tuner and Automatic tuning function- misses a lot of channels to tune and does not set the clearest resolution possible

7) Bad build quality of the Remote.

8) Sub woofer- fixed very loosely.

The Pros-

1) Excellent build quality

2) Above average sound Quality

3) Intuitive interface and OSD

4) Good reception of the RF remote

5) Supports many standards
