One of the best tablets I have seen at this price range. I bought it on 1 week ago so this review is after using this tablet for 7 days now. Trust me its working absolutely fine with no lags.to be more precise I am using this for just watching Videos on Youtube, I haven't played any games on it yet.

1) Price - For me I purchased it for 2999/-

2) It has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM at such a cheap price.

3) Battery back up I found good can watch 2 to 3 movies on 1 charge.

4) Display is good at this price

5) It supports OTG(I havent tested it yet)

Cons- Its just about the camera but who uses camera in a Tab, u can make video calls and that's what the camera is for.

Verdict- If u r tight on ur budget and if u r getting this for 2999 or around 3500 go for it.

I boaught this micromax tab P290 via amazon.I was just swa this add on my phone by advertising I really really need one tab for my some job like at study time at making video time and some extra activity.Bt this micromax tab P290 it's very very cheap and easy to used and we can carry also where you want to be go.This is 7 inch and 8GB tab which is little bit nice and about the sim this is not support any sim bt we can use wifi instead of sim.my tab version is 5.0 Lollipop which is android and if you see there about the camera 2 MP rear camera with full screen touch. About the ram if you see 1 GB ram is enough for this cheap Tab.There are other facility are provided like bluetooth, FM radio, VGA front camera, media and all thing which common mobile give you.But one thing is there remain about the processor which is 1.3 ghz quad with li-po battery 2820 mAh.This extremly very nice and awesome tab which I have never seen before.

Micromax canvas tab p290 tablet good features.i bought this tab rs 4000.about tab specifications I like its 7 inch screen and operating system android lollipop.in this range not any other tablet have android lollipop operating system.in this tablet one thing is not good that is calling not support, only wifi connectivity.if friends you want for gaming, internet browsing and watch movies then buy this tab without hesitation.about tablet battery is 5-6 hours normally backup for watching movies and internet browsing.

I have bought it for my sister, so far I found this tablet very good, RAM, processor also good. My sister is enjoying it. Only internal memory is 4gb but it can be expandable to 32 gb(i guess) via external memory card. Good tablet with great features. Display quality is fair, sound quality is best. But it doest not support simcard for internet. But you can use wifi for internet services.The Canvas Tab P290 looks rather nice at first glance. It isn’t all that slim but it does have bold, distinctive lines including chiselled edges around the rear. The front is plain black apart from the silver earpiece, and there are no markings thanks to the use of on-screen button thank to the use of on-screen buttons that rotate with the device so you can hold it any way.

Tablate display is 7inch touchscreen powered by 2820 mah battery, processor is 1.3ghz Quad core processor and 1gb RAM is good for multitasking,

Rear camera is 2 mega pixel and in the front there is vga camera And the operating system is android 5.0…

internal storage is only 4gb I think its weak point and not 3g is also because its 4g period and this time 2g is outdated so I think its minus point…

but in this price 1gb ram is good and processor is also good and big screen so its good one in this price…
