Nothing But a Glorified Win 8
Apr 26, 2016 02:14 AM

I don't really know why microsoft hate 9 word so much well about this OS i've used it pretty much and know much about this its more like 8 not many upgrades, Start button is missing which fortunately now win 10 does comes with. This OS cannot handle heavy gaming for sure no matter if you have a gaming rig pc or laptop its just not that good for gaming. It gliches which microsoft always try to fix. But unfortunately did nothing

So my concern about this is average and this is what popularity says

Windows 8.1 is average
Apr 24, 2016 05:59 PM

I recently installed this windows 8.1 os in my pc but it is not better to windows 8 os.i used to windows 8 for two year before then I upgrade to windows 8.1 but its feature and function still missing so I don't like this os.The most important point is its work fast then other all OS and all type of application is support easily.it still doesn’t manages to perform that well compared to Windows 7.

New features were: Improved visualization of start screen- with setting to choose for tiles to background. The start menu is back at the bottom left hand side. You’re allowed to log in direct to the main screen as was in the previous versions such as xp, vista and 7. It supports all the software and old and latest. Win 8.1 is very easy to use and for new users its also very easy to learn.most important it is very easy to use so you can install this os.i recommend it.

Its very hard to find anything and very slow
Apr 24, 2016 04:45 PM (via Android App)

Seriously I dont like window 8.1 cause its not very convenient to use. Its window option its contain lot of apps which is very hard to find a single apps. And its very hanggy window. Window 8.1 is the slowest window as compare to window 10 and 7.

Previously I used this window 8.1 and beleive me my laptop became so slow that I wanted to rechage my window to window 7. But at that time window 10 was build. I saw window 10 used by one of my friends so I took window 10 and changed my window. Its was very fast easy to find any apps in less time and never get hang. So I recommend you not to use window 8.1 use window 10.

You can go for windows explorer instead of windows
Apr 24, 2016 04:32 PM (via Mobile)

  • "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL", This implies there is an issue with a driver it will rehash for new client itself and recently introduced applications.

  • Explorer crashes and routinely restarts it will crazy the clients and won't spare numerous works which was doing as of now .

  • Backup makes different duplicates of information that hasn't changed, so we need to erase physically undesirable records.

  • Getting the desktop rendition of IE back on the Start screen.

  • USB drive solidify so hanging will be happens at the same time .

  • Windows continues dropping Wi-Fi network.

  • A clear Explorer.exe window shows up on boot so its most exceedingly awful on time .

  • Windows 8 enactment comes up short with Error:(0x8007007B)

MY VERDICT:-

windows 8.1 is not suggested, in light of the fact that its so moderate on procedure

A BAD OPTION
Apr 24, 2016 01:27 PM

I had updated windows 8.1 in my laptop.

  1. it took about 8 hrs to succesfully update my windows which was really very long and a lengthy process.

  2. my system became very slow it was working very slowly that it took 30 sec to take action after a click which was very irritating. I needed something to fasten up my system and enhance its performance. Then a guy recommended me windows 10. I went to official microsoft site and updated my laptop to windows 10 it took much lesser time just 3hrs.

Built in traditional windows and touch screen icon based both interface.

Windows 8.1, better than Windows Vista and 7
Mar 08, 2016 05:36 PM

You ever used Windows 8.1? Please use it. Why? I have some reasons.

Windows 8 has some awesome features that windows 7 don't got, Windows 8 is made to search faster and makes the computer more smooth. Specially I love the Tile style of this version of Microsoft. Windows 8 have much better gaming experience. I love to play games of PCs so I love it. The fps is actually nearly doubled in all games in Windows 8 than 7 but I agree that its difficult to handle or tackle it in case of Window crash. But finally with all stuffs I got Windows 8.1 is better than 7.

I want to tell you what more features are embedded with Windows 8.1

  1. Power and Search button on the Start screen.

  2. All open and pinned apps appear in the task bar.

  3. Access the task bar from anywhere.

  4. More familiar mouse and keyboard options.

  5. Simpler to find new apps(Discover apps in new ways and remember what apps you recently installed)

Some more features are there to tell you guys but the above is enough to tell you Win 8.1 amazing.

Windows 8.1
Mar 08, 2016 02:45 PM

I would prefer not to call myself an early adopter however my involvement with the Windows Phone OS began with the Nokia Lumia 800. In those days, it had the Windows 7.5 on it and was later after a great deal of out cry from the a large number of clients was reluctantly given a move up to 7.8 which was generally restorative. Be that as it may, regardless of how great or awful the Windows 7.8 was, the Lumia 800 with its splendid screen, shot confirmation construct quality and a woeful battery compensated for it. I utilized the Lumia 800 for a decent measure of time. So long that I was all the while utilizing it even after Microsoft thought of the Windows Phone 8.0.

Mind you, the Windows Phone OS regardless of the adaptation is no where close Android in the ease of use, usefulness and applications office. I am not specifying the iOS here absolutely on the grounds that I have not utilized iOS as I did with my Android telephone or the Windows telephones.

Windows Phone and the terrible stuff that accompanies it

In a world that is flawlessly associated, individuals search for when they spend their well deserved cash on an advanced cell is that they pine for some measure of restrictiveness. You just don't have any space for that on the Windows Phone environment. For instance, the client interface of the OS and the search and feel for the least expensive Nokia Lumia and the most costly can have a striking resemblance. The main contrasts to the exposed eye are clearly the screen, structure element and the camera of the gadget. With an end goal to make the client interface all the more straight forward, Microsoft by one means or another lost its direction and everything appears to be identical inside a square or a rectangle which before long turns out to be so exhausting considering the way that whatever you can do is change the shading or put a foundation picture. The main contrast that you would most likely get the opportunity to see after you put a foundation picture will be not a huge deal. What was bright rectangles or squares now gotten to be straightforward and take the foundation picture. Awesome to take a gander at however in the event that the symbol or the tile and the foundation has the same shading, you have no clue what you are taking a gander at. Regardless I can't comprehend the idea of the configuration and how out and out imbecilic and dumb it is.

The windows store(beforehand windows commercial center) as you may as of now have expected I am not going to discuss the absence of applications on Windows store. It is fairly neck and neck with the most famous applications that the world employments. So with Windows 8.1, there is no absence of applications such as it used to be in the times of the Windows 7.5 and 7.8. What isn't right about the Windows applications is that when whatever is left of the world on Android and iOS stages are finished with an application, that will likely when the application gets discharged and in light of this everything you can presumably do is to wish sometime in the not so distant future, I would get the chance to see this on my Windows Phone. That hold up is anguishing and it is a compassion Microsoft is not making the right moves here. What's more, I have almost no conviction whether this will enhance with Windows Phone 10 either.

Microsoft can never be Nokia on the grounds that they had all the cash and the Microsoft re-marking on the telephones will take a toll doubtlessly on the grounds that, in a business sector like India, a Nokia is dependably a Nokia and I am not certain why Microsoft experiences considerable difficulties the same.

Lastly one of the most exceedingly awful bit of programming that goes with your Windows Phone OS 7.5, 7.8, 8.0 and 8.1 independent of the gadget producer is, Internet Explorer. Working with that is such a loathsome ordeal. Give me a chance to explain why with a basic illustration. On the Android telephones, you get the opportunity to encounter a site like YouTube in a way that you never experienced. It gives you a chance to play the video that you are watching like a PIP(Picture in Picture) highlight and gives you a chance to browse recordings. Attempt that on IE that accompanies your Windows telephone and you would feel that you are attempting to peruse Youtube with an IE 4.0 and the most exceedingly terrible thing to heap up on what's as of now more awful is that you don't have a tolerable option either.

What's more, now the well done

The unbelievable form nature of the Nokia equipment, aside from the Nokia Lumia 720. I have seen many individuals with split screens, telephones that quit working simply like that inside of a limited ability to focus time. In any case, generally the vast majority of the telephones that are between INR 5000 and INR 20000 are outright value for the money, in the event that you are searching for in your face straightforwardness.

In the event that you have had enough of Android or iOS and you are searching for a distinction, the Windows Phone OS won't baffle for giving you something new.

Not at all like Android or iOS, the windows OS is so light it would even keep running on a mini-computer and still give its costly rivals a keep running for their cash. With only 512MB of RAM most windows telephone will give you a falter free execution for ordinary or substantial use. You could play Asphalt on a gadget with as littile as the RAM said above with no hiccups in its execution or illustrations

You don't need to clear the reserve or garbage as you do on Android all the time as very straightforward the telephone scarcely runs anything out of sight and this can be an inconvenience now and then.

A percentage of the applications, uniquely the Here drive(already Nokia Drive) just beats some other route application hand down as it gives you a chance to store maps locally on your telephone and utilize them disconnected from the net.

And after that there's Cortana. One of the best voice associate applications out there and does its occupation truly well on the off chance that you let it know what you need to do.

The Windows Phone OS has faith in the idea that toning it down would be best. So when the telephone's unmoving there is next to no going ahead in it and this offers you to have a practically unending battery some assistance with backing up.

The camera applications. The default application that accompanies the Windows 8.1 offers a considerable measure of choices for you to play with and that occasionally is absent with a portion of the lead android telephones. I don't intend to say they are all awful at the same time, the windows application simply let everything hang out with the goal that you can control what you need to catch on the camera the way you need it. Take the Nokia Lumia 920 for occurrence. It had presumably the best camera on a cell telephone at now is the right time. At that point there is the Nokia Lumia 1020 with its creature 41MP camera.

I would prefer not to term whatever you read till now as a feedback against the Windows Phone OS however this is my experience subsequent to 2013 with the Windows Phone biological community and I got exhausted of it and proceeded onward to Android. I feel great however infrequently, I miss my tiles.

That's not good for pc
Mar 01, 2016 01:08 PM

Windows 8.1 probably won't change your opinion of the OS. Just how unloved is Windows 8's new interface? Consider this: One of Windows 8.1's hot new features is the ability to bypass the Live Tile user interface and boot directly to the traditional Windows desktop.

It's a tacit admission by Microsoft that its ambitious goal of creating a unified interface for mobile and desktop devices hasn't exactly gotten a warm embrace from longtime Windows users.A year after Windows 8's debut, Windows 8.1 is here. Is it better than its predecessor? Yes, but in small ways. The overall presentation is essentially.unchanged, albeit with some needed improvements

Window 8.1 it's good

I have utilized window 7. however, likewise I attempted to change from window 7 to window 8.1, yet it had numerous issues that I needed to change back to window 7, window 8 issues introducing drivers printers any some more.

While Windows 8.1 makes some change Windows 8.1 fixes a portion of the issues individuals running desktop situations whined about, however regardless it doesn't go sufficiently far. In case you're running a touchscreen framework, then 8.1 isn't awful in any way.

window 8 numerous product not bolstered.

Confusing and difficult
Feb 26, 2016 12:49 PM

I recently upgraded my win 7 laptop to win 8.1 pro and I became mad in the first use itself, so I removed it and restored win 7.There is no start menu and I had absolutely no idea where all the needed icons are.I was searching for control panel the whole day.And the restart button? Where is it hiding? We had to manualy type in search box in order to access stuff! You kidding me, windows?! It is really shocking that by an upgrade the windows guy mean to make a simple stuff more complicated and difficult to access. Why can't they just keep the win 7 layout in win 8.1? It was prefect and super. This is real disaster from Microsoft, in my opinion.

Absolutely Awesome !!
Feb 08, 2016 11:25 PM

The first thing that comes to your mind when you use Windows 8.1 is WOW! . Beautiful operating system, even faster than the Windows 7 . Available in both 32 bit and 64 bit . Microsoft introduced beautiful tiles UI in this . Actually Windows 8.1 is the latest version of Windows 8, which was a very unstable version and had a lot of bugs .

Windows 8.1 is stable and bug free and compatible with tablets .:)

Note: You may find the live tiles and the metro UI different and complex but give it some time you will find it interesting .
