Strontium USB Key Flash Drive

I have 8 GB Strontium pen drive and I bought it nearly 7 months ago via amazon for rupees 359 and I would like to say that its a nice product and the transfer speed is also very fast of nearly up to 120 Mbps, very good in built quality and made with aluminium uni-body, USB 2.0 and is having a five year warranty cover. Its very handy and easy to carry and also it does it job well but I had a complain that it gets heated sometimes when connected for a long period or sometimes during a normal use also. So I m not able to understand that why it is happening with such a big company product. I think that as it is a metal uni-body that's why its getting heated. This is the only issue what I m facing other than this the product is good but as my experience is bad with this product I would advice the buyers to go with other brands such as SAN-DISK rather than buying this one.

Hi friends,

I got this pen drive in very low price as compared to other products.But its not value for money product.Worse experience I got with this product when I plugged it in my laptop and transferred some data. As soon as I started coping it started heating. I got shocked  that I got damaged but its was not.So every time I use it, it heats. So for safety I am not using this product now a days.I wont recommend any of you to go with this product if you want you laptop and health safety.

I have bought strontium NITRO on the go USB 3.0 32GB pen drive( black) from Paytm ( order no-1924264626) in July 2016.

I have found heating issues from the same day we can't do anything about that. I have written a mail to customer care regarding the problem and there is no response from their end.As such there is no problem in operation and I have never ever lost my data from drive. Its physical size is user friendly and handy. It has also gain popularity due to ease of installation.Read| write speed is 100 mbps and 40 mbps, respectively.

Also, It is compatible all windows, Mac and linux platforms. Case material is metal and hence it is overall of rugged construction.

I ordered strontium 16GB pen drive on snapdeal.

I have recieved it on time but when I connected it to computer it prompts me error.

Really bad product. kindly do not buy this.

Customer service is also very poor and irlt is really a typical china product.

Not usable.

It is quite funny to say that important things like pen drive are made up of worst quality like this.

It is giving me superb 12 MB/sec transfer rates. is easy to use with mobiles as well as PC Fantastic product, with 5 years warranty.

Came with blister pack and engraved serial number. After years of use, I can tell that Strontium isqually reliable brand like Sandisk or Transcend or Kingston gets red-hot if you watch a HD movie when the drive is attached to mobile. And Very small can be kept in yourwallet. Can be attached to laptop as well as with the mobile handset. Good product. : )

today I am going to share my experince about stronitum usb key flash drive. I have bought it from market about 6 months ago. when I used it  it gives me every day new problems, Like some time it was not deducted in my laptop or sometimes shows all memory blank, and some times this flash drive delete my all data.

So I am totally fed up with this flash drive, so I had buy 16 pen drive in of sandisk company and it is too good instead of Strontium USB Flash Drive. so I can say that this flash drive is very bad in comparison of others.

When I have buy a new 8 GB in 500 rupees Flash Drive Or Pen Drive of Strontium company, I just use that pen drive only 1 month, it gives me every day new problems, Like some time it was not deducted in my laptop or sometimes shows all memory blank, and one thing more that is 2 or 3 times this flash drive delete my all data.

I have purchased strontium 16gb 65mb/s from snapdeal order no. 5786623728.

Worst product and service by strontioum. after delivery I used this micro SD card in my smartphone after 20 days the memory card is not detected in my mobile my all data is gone. I have tried in various devices and in my personal computer also but fail to format.

I have also gone their service center but didnot found any service center in lalbagh in lucknow. I have also email lucknow service center they said that service center in lucknow is closed u have to contact a delhi service center. I have called there but didnot get a resoluton. worst company and worst product.

I recently bought a strontium 16 GB OTG drive from amazon. It came with warranty. Right from the day 1, it used to get heated a lot when I was using it with my phone. Also while transferring data to and from the laptop, the speed was very low. While using with phone it used to become so hot that I could not touch it.

Then one day while using it, OTG stopped working. The small usb portion which used to connect to phone is not working anymore. But the larger USB portion is working. So now, I can use it as a normal USB drive of 16 GB capacity but extremely low speed but the purpose for which I bought it, is not applicable anymore. I cannot use it with my phone. I called amazon because the product was under warranty and they said they cannot replace it and I need to take it to a service center. Now there is one service center in Nehru place. Reaching there takes 3 hours for me. And the process is, first I will go there to submit the OTG, then I will have to go back again to collect the new part IF it is replaced. IF. replacement is not sure. So that means for a 450 Rs OTG drive, I will spend 150 Rs on transport and 12 hours in travelling just for mere chances of getting it replaced. This is downright stupid.

I didn't like the Strontium OTG at all. Worst product ever. Please don't buy it.

Spin usb also has a small ring placed on the top of it, which can be used to hang the drive like a key chain. as far as key usb is concerned, the drive is one of the smallest pen drives available in indian market; strontium spin usb 2.0 is available at RS 399 whereas key usb 2.0 is priced at RS 349.
