STAAD.Pro V8i

Hello friends today I am dharing my personal opinion on staad pro v8i software. I have used it for long 1 year.

From my point of view it has disappointed me for the following reasons.

1. It doesn't provide actual requirement of reinforcements in rcc design. It always give excess quantity of reinforcements which is not budget friendly at all.

   
   




2. We Couldnot provide load in every several points of a structures. Especially you have to put wind loads as udl ( uniformly distributed load) which is very older version.

   
   




3. Everytime with light weight members this program always resulted fail which is never budget friendly at all.

   
   

The above following reasons are main point from my point of view. Practicing as a student it could be best option but in my opinion it is not recommended for professional uses.

Hence other updated softwares are there in market which is very efficient than dtaad pro v8i.

Hope my review will help you before purchasing paid verson of staad pro v8i.

Structural Analysis And Designing Program that is STAAD.Pro is the number 1 and most popular software for structural analyzing which has several design codes for steel, concrete and timber structures, It is the product of Bentley Software.

This software is almost used by all structural engineering for analyzing various combinations of loads on structures and foundation, where we can check the stability and safety of the structure. It is used to analyse  various loads forms like dynamic load, seismic load, non linear loads, buckling loads,  wind load and many more loads, It is one of the most useful and professional software for analyzing and designing structures .Since it is the professional software We need to learn STAAD.

PRO from good training institution and we have to buy this software and license to use professionally but for students its free which is called student version.This software has changed the entire process of calculating safe load for structures, it's very accurate which helps to build large structures with confidence. There's no doubt why it is famous and most trusted software for analyzing steel or concrete structures . I will give five star for STAAD.PRO.
