Olive Nexus Wireless Router

Olive nexus V-R9 wi fi Router is not configuring with PC and laptop. No service available in India. I called n number of times to their 01244648000 and 180026665438 but no response from olive. Their Pune service center Mr Kiran on number 9225339254 was contacted and to my surprise I got an answer that they don't know any thing about this product. I must have spend more money then cost of this router on phone calls to olive. I am still waiting suitable response from olive.

Please don't Buy Olive router as they can not give any service for this product

The Olive Nexus wireless router(OliveNexus V-R9) is one the most useful device I have ever owned. This device lets you plug in your 3G data card and lets you share the internet connection with any device that can access internet from a Wi-Fi connection. For example with iPhone, other smart phones, laptop, ipad, other tablets, etc.

Device setup is a breeze for a person who knows his DHCP from his LAN and WAN. Seriously though, you need to know a little bit of computer networking knowledge to get this up and running. If you have configured wireless routers at home or office then there is nothing to worry about. For others I suggest taking help from your techie friend or colleague.

After the initial setup, it has been working like a charm for the past one month. I have set it to dial up when any device needs internet and disconnect when there is no internet activity for about 10 minutes. Also I have setup my wireless access point to WPA2-Personal protocol, so nothing to worry about from the local hackers!

With heavy internet usage(work from home) my data card gets hot and I think it is slowing down my internet access. Keeping a little fan to blow cool air on the data card might help. Again this is a data card issue. Using this router is convenient even when using a single computer. The dialer software that comes from my 3G service provider is terrible and it works only when logged in as administrator on a windows computer.
