Moserbaer Swivel Pen Drives

I used Moserbaer Swivel pen drive about five years ago in my PC. It was of 16 GB capacity. It costed me almost 699 rupees to buy from a local store.

As we all know Moserbaer is one of the trusted brands out there around us. I've even used till now lots of Moserbaer products like Moserbaer CD, DVD, DVC, storage cards etc. So I blindly went for the pendrive too to buy it immediately.

The pendrive looked really but its data transmission rate was not faster. It was a USB 2.0 type so obviously I faced some lag while transferring large amounts of data like movies, games, HD videos, other large files etc. Though the transfer rate was mentioned on the manual as 8-10 MB/sec, I got the actual transfer speed maximum upto 4-5 MB/s.

This pendrive is in fact an average pendrive, definitely not the best to use.

We use pen drives day in and day out. Though it's usage may have been reduced by online sharing and other wireless transfers, yet pen drives are still indispensable for many of us.

Moser Baer is a brand which has been there since decades. Mostly known for CD DVD and data storage devices. Among the pen drives the swivel ones look unique and also protects the USB connector area from damage.

This is one of the pen drives that I initially purchased because of its swivel nature. Later realized that it just makes it bulky and nothing else. Opens up on the sides very easily. A delicate product. I have the lower capacity 2gb one. Just does the job. Not very attractive to look at neither too small. Just meant for the job.

We prefer smaller and smaller pen drives and those that look more classy. Can buy this if it's dispensable.

The pen drive is really good, but comes with less memory, the variant which I bought was of 8 GB. The pen drive outlasted really good and gave a fine result after usage. Moser bear finally came out to be a really good company by giving their best with the moser bear pen drive, I would strongly recommend every buyer to buy this great product. You can blind foldedly trust me.

I had bought a moserbear 8GB pendrive in 2013. It came up with an in built anti virus and a six months warranty plus 1GB of free music on hungama.com music store. It bought it for rupees 400 from a shop.

But there were many problems that I faced from this like;

1. It was not easy to install and was always taking time to show up in the my computer option.

   
   




2. Anti virus was unable to function correctly and I was required to remove it.

   
   




3. It got infection by malware very easily and even I tried to remove the viruses time and again  it was unable to function correctly from then.

   
   




4. Acctual space of pendrive was less than 4 GB lot of space was preoccupied.

   
   




5. I was unable to use hungama.com offer as the activation code did nt work.

   
   




6. It's speed of data transfer was very slow.

   
   

Recommendations: I wouldn't like to recommend it to anyone. I had a bad experience with it.

Moserbear pendrives are very average pen drives in their usages. I have used their other storage medium which are good but pendrive are not up to the mark. They are very slow in operation. When I save a file through copy it takes so much time same problem is in opening a file it takes a lot of time. It does have a cover to secure it which is another bad thing about these pen drives. Over all very slow pendrives it consumes a lot time.

It has been a couple of years that I have been using this pen drive. I brought it from Amazon from around 2 years before. It comes really under a great quality of product as well as service with its fast data transfer speed and securing the data from viruses and marvles.

Hello, friends today I will share my experience on moserbaer swivel pen drive. I have 4 gb moserbaer pendrive which I have bought recently from the market. The pendrive works very bad. The speed is also very slow. If you will transfer any big file than it take lots of time to transfer that file. The quality of this pendrive is not good. I think the material used in this pendrive is duplicate because while using the pendrive suddenly the pendrive slip from my hand and hit the ground after that when I plug the pendrive into CPU then I see that the pendrive is not working. I have fix that pendrive which cost me 300 rs. Installation is easy just plug in and use. Use is little bit difficult because it slip from hand. I have not seen any extra features in this pendrive. Functions are not much helpfull. Service and support is not good.

I had this pen-drive before last 2 year. It is stupid pen-drive take up to an hour for transferring of any GB/MB file.Quality is very worst.Body is made of lower plastic & glass.Mostly I remembered that, it had been fallen from my 3 feet computer table and my all important data was clean up by it, Although it is not broken.While other brand's pen-drive are solid and perfect.It has very poor quality body and performance too.It's quality really cheaper than SD card.It slows down the computer.Never waste your money try different brand like sandisk which is awesome!

I will never forget this pendrive, I had this in my 12th std. I lost my all data of project which are not submitted. And then I need to make that projects again. Do not trust it.

This pen-drive is design with cheap plastic material, even not look good. Pendrive has cheap looking features like that rotating cap, It crashed under my foot.(Okay I did it).

Easy in use but until it works, when problems started every time it requires format, and PC say's Disk has some problem need to format. If you ignore that warning and close warning you can start using pendrive perfectly(As I did) but one day you can't open the pendrive, it crash if you ignore that warning continuously(Same happened with me).  In functionality it's even worst.

Well I need to make a project as a repersentation of nature so I make a project . then I need a pendrive to store data and represent my project in front of my teacher and class . I have listen more compliments about this pendrive so I bought one moserbaer swivel pen drive .

when I used that pen drive I found that it takes a lots of time to store data . I am using this after some time I found that it is become very hot . it exerts lots of heat . when I am using this pendrive to repersent in front of class than I found that data has been lost.

I've bought this pen drive 3 year ago because that was a time there are less option for buying this is how its come then, however this pen drive is not friendly till starting, its take much time to responce when you plug in and sometime it doesnt show you at all and process much longer than youre thoughts.

well no pendrive need of installation but seems like to have responce fast but it doesnt. this is how its irrate me so much.

features are nothing 178kbps hardly reach to transfer data and you could took a nap in that time

no service and support at all. because they said its have max speed hahaha

There was a time when Moserbaer Swivel pendrive is very common and everyone who is having PC must have it. But due to increase in their market the company started producing bad quality product and I am the one who is affected by it.

I purchased it because it's price is less as compared to other brands, but only less cost is not the main subject of good product, it means have a good quality.

I faced several problems with this pendrive.

Firstly, after the purchase of two months I found it got ejected automatically from USB port without doing anything. I feel irritated and not do anywork with it but I manage it like that.

Once I connected my pendrive and saw that there is no empty space available, but I putted media of 2GB only and my pendrive is of 8GB. I checked it's properties and it is also showing 2.2 GB of total space. Then instantly I formatted it and then I noticed that it's total space decreases from 7.6 GB to 7.1 GB. I was shocked and left it like that.

After a month again it decresed to 7 GB. I fomatted it then it again gained to 7.1 GB but not more than that. And everytime it gets decreased which creates to much problem in using this device.

I am very upset with the services provided by Moserbaer and customer care representative are not helping in this issue. They just reply format your pendrive and check it.

Tips: I would recommend not to buy it and if then also you think to buy then check it's total space properly and format it once at the time of purchase.

Friends just wanted to share my personal experience with this product. Putchase and tried it few months back considering that as a major company of deive making its product will be of good quality. But once I used it I found a serious speed issue with this pendrive. A file of few MB's takes 2-5 minutes to get transferrd. When I tried to copy multiple files it just made me crazy. I don't know why a good company like moserbaer make a product like this. Better you go for not considering this and go for some other genuine brands like hp or sony.

I bought a 16 GB pendrive of moserbaer from flipkart the design and looks are nit good catalogue is very poor . The ease of use was below average because of poor built in quality the chip always goes inside body whenever you try to insert in PC.

The ease of installation is poor as one te installation takes around 5-7 min which looks akward and silly.features are not good as no usb 3.0 support and also no password protrction was in pendrive.

My pendrive stop working in 4 month, I faced a lot of problem for warantty as no service center was there in faridabad I had to go in delhi also there service was not impressive.they were out of stock at that time they replaced pendrive after a week.

moserbare swivel pen drives is not good friends. this pendrives hurry waste. this products you are using only 3 , 4 times.after 3, 4 dsys this product is not working.

This product is very bad, I purchased this pendrive about 1 month back, and the pen drive has stopped working totally. Even it dont get detected by the system. Also what I found about the product is that the built quality of this product is very very bad. The pendrive is made up of very cheap plastic material. Also its very delicate. Earlier this product use to come with the metal swivel, but now to my surprise it was now made up of plastic. Also the rate of transfer on this pen drive is very slow. I wont recommend it to anyone. thank you.

This pendrive is cheap but so.bad in speed by this level of technology!

Look of pendrive is good but not efficient.it totally Pastic and not much strong~

File transfer is very longer time taker.it like tortul!@ so bad

I think the metal body and type C pendrive is better than this it is cheap and so the function is also like that.

It is also heat up whent more than 1 hour to connect with pc.!
