So u wanna expand ur creativity... model your imaginations.. make realistic images... then 3dsmax is the thing 4 u. 1st of all, one BIG MiStAkE that I want all of you to know is in the link u just clicked.

It is made by DISCREET

ok Back to our point.

the latest version of the software is DISCREET 3DSMAX 5.1

u can update your version 5.0 to ---> 5.1 frm their Website

3dsmax is all bout modelling & animation. u can model ur own figures and animate them in any way u want

u might hav heard bout MAYA ..which is used in films .

well if u r a beginner then ur option should be 3dsmax. after studying this u can easily go 4 Maya

well there r many tutorials in this site but very little 4 beginners.

let me get this straight to u .....

u should hav a genuine Interest to study this

Many people say u need artistic Talent to do 3d modelling. well the Answer is a small and beautiful NO.

of course u need that Imagination in u. And i know that anyone who reads this has some creativity in them

we start frm basic shapes and go into modelling slowly

well if u can get ur Hands on the Software u should Straight go 2 the getting started & then to tutorials Section.

and if u neeed any Basic tutorials post ur queries 2 me

And if I went tooo long I am really sorry.

Patience is the 1st thing that u should hav if u want to study these Softwares..

Hi 2 all......

All u techno hunks lookin 4 a good softw..to make 3-D animations.so that sm day u'd be able to get a job in some EArts or Ms games deptt..My advice to u all is .Macromedia 3-D Studio Max 3.1 ..phew(really long..)is not the very best option..Instead try ur hands on Discreet's 3-ds Max 5.1..available in apna own Palika bazaar ..The tuts it has r...mark my words...the best u could have seen anywhere ...Tis my challenge and sincere advice to try this new breed of software.....so try ur hands on it and lemme no...if I was wroong or rite...
